I always go to your youtube channel to pick up a couple tips on disassembling certain laptop models. Thanks for sharing these upgrade repair videos on laptops.
Thx for watching.
This was a massive job!!!
Your videos are super educational on how to keep our PCs in good condition
You rock!
Nice keyboard repair. A change from the usual upgrades. 👌 Enjoyed.
I have the same exact model, and my keyboard also malfunctioned. I almost exclusively used an external keyboard, and I most definitely did not spill anything on there. Upon further research, I found this model and Acer laptops in general have had failing keyboards.
I did everything you could do aside from replacing the keyboard itself, so this will be my guide to so.
Thank you sir!!!
Excellant video, informative, like your approach to keeping the customer concerns first and foremost and well as easy of work for technician. Thank you.
Great Job Mr. Dale!
You Are The Best.

thank you your video really helped me, Amazing job sir
For a gaming laptop with a high TDP, I would suggest giving Honeywell PTM7950 phase-change material is more thermally conductive than the best pastes.
Great video, the pace is perfect for someone trying to learn and replicate! Having some problems with a note very similar to that one, its an acer nitro 5 but a slightly different model. My problem is software related, when I wipe the hd entirely, delete all partitions and recreate them, and reinstall windows from scratch, and then unplug & plug the keyboard, it works for a couple days.
I'm pretty sure it is some failsafe from Acer to make us buy damn new keyboard pieces, and I would gladly if this piece of shit wasn't so hard to replace.
Wow! Very impressive indeed! A query for you - Is it relatively easier to replace the palmrest and keyboard together as one unit rather than just the keyboard where you need to remove the black sheet ,take out the plastic attachments and later solder them back ? Thanks
It's much easier and more cost-effective to replace palmrest.
Do you have the part number for the touchpad replacement?
Can this apply as well for AN515-54?
Sir I have an Acer Nitro 5 AN 515 55, is it possible to replace my processor? Is it possible to detach if it's affected?
👍
