    Bluetooth connectivity is not a necessity imo. Glad they skipped to keep the price low.
    Now considering all the better and very good changes they have made to the 160, just makes me that much more excited for the next gen NS!!

      This! I am glad money won't be spent on features I will rarely use haha. Fuel efficiency, rideability, safety, refinement. Nothing more, nothing less for a humble commuter!

      @Divyesh riding modes are necessary, eco mode givies 4 to 5 kmpls extra mileage ..
      (Atleast there is an option to extract extra mileage)

    Bajaj has done it right . Don't mind if the skipped Bluetooth and gave Dual Channel ABS keeping price same . Only thing they should offer all colors to Dual Channel ABS. To answer the question of same styling , this has been done in Pulsars . So no complain

      Thats the only complaint I have.. had to get the black one but wanted the blue one but hardware on dual channel is better than single channel version

    Keeping the styling exactly similar across the range is both a pro and con. Pro for the guy who buys N160, since it looks exactly similar as the bigger N250. Con for both the guy who buys the N250, because it looks exactly similar to the lesser N160 and for the N250 brand as a whole since the N160 would badly affect N250's sales.

    Not a bad proposition IMO. Looks decent, with segment first dual channel ABS which is an added bonus (and better safety than single channel). Riding modes are not needed for a 160cc bike. May be for bikes that make over 25-30 HP and regarding BT, it’s a personal preference. Mostly used while going on long rides for navigation but, again how often do you do a long ride on a 160?

    The bajaj pulsar N 160 is great option in the 160 cc class. The design looks muscular and aggressive, just like pulsar should yet being modern as well. The engine performance is decent 👍. But where the N 160 strikes better compared to its competition is option of dual channel ABS. Although Wish bajaj could have given it as a standard feature on all colours. Its a bummer that the dual channel ABS only comes with this good looking black colour. Otherwise the new pulsar N160 is very good bike to be consider in this price range of 1.28 lakh rupees.
    Waiting to see how it compete against its competitions like the TVS Apache, Yamaha fz s, and the hero xtreme 160 r.

    1. RTR 160 4V looked polarizing for me somehow
    2. Xtreme 160R had worst high end power
    3. NS 160 was too outdated
    4. Gixxer and FZ felt like commuters - Not looking good for college
    Plus, my priorities were good performance (Adequate low end, mid range and top end), beginner friendly performance, mileage, decent features, brakes and comfort. Bajaj has made my priorities meet in N160... Will definitely go for it 😍😍😍 BTW, looks are also good 🔥🔥🔥

    I don't think same styling is a con. If you look at dukes, the 125 European version and the 390 looks exactly the same. Now the new 250 too apart from the instrument console. Even the huskies, the 250 and 401 looks identical. In my experience, different markets have different opinions on styling, so imo this isn't something bad. But I won't say this is a pro either

      Very much I feel... NS line up has way more aggressive nature as well as unbeatable top end (NS 200) and the 2nd fastest 160 after the RTR as well as better overall refinement.

    1st Comment.. Always love your presentation.. I rode this bike along with the Hero Xtreme 160R. I felt the Xtreme is quicker, plusher and better handler.. Pulsar has dual channel ABS but except that Xtreme can beat this in many ways.. Yes This Baby Pulsar looks good.. But thats it.

      can you briefly compare between these bikes....I am looking for a proper comparison between Xtreme and N160 as both have 2v engine.... though N160 is oilcooled where xtreme only aircooled...so what about a long term performance for these two bikes?

      @@soumya_15 long term performance for a newly launched bike will be hard to find. You did need to wait for that or you can go get a test ride. That's the fastest way you will be able to know about the bike.

Only thing I can understand after a test ride is how much comfortable I am with handling,seating.... Currently I am learning about these all......     Bajaj has been experimenting a lot with their brands and Pulsar is no different. Plenty of Pulsar starting from 135LS, 150/200 AS, 180F, 160NS out of which all flopped or discontinued sole reason being the end consumer's mind still sees and accepts only the OG Pulsar design language.
    Bajaj have failed to make an impactful design evolution and produce it to the customer satisfying/ exceeding all the needs. Sales numbers says it all, infact the downsized OG style Pulsar 125 has become the best selling Pulsar !
    Still work to be done, hopeful Bajaj doesn't kill the Pulsar brand like almost all other sub brands that existed.

    First they've launched pulsar 250 with all new chassis and engine and now keeping everything similar pulsar 160 has been arrived. So looking at the trend next we could wished pulsar 350 with an air cooled two valve engine .

    im a noob on engines.... but could you guys tell if it's possible to make a 4 cylinder 100 cc engine with vva and 6 speed gearbox? If yes will it be able to generate tremendous power and torque like mt-15 atleast. I mean is it technologically possible. if yes will it give great mileage being a 100 cc engine? if it's a win win thing, why haven't any manufacturers, especially bajaj tried it yet?

      I'm no expert, but you'll have to rev such a small engine to very high rpm like 16k+ rpm to extract any kind of power and it won't be any fuel efficient either, nor will it be any tractable as all of its power will be in the top end, also it will be too expensive to make such high quality durable parts that survive such high rpms so most people won't be able to afford it. See how expensive the zx25r was, gives you a rough estimate.

      @@rajatkhandelwal885 I think 20hp is possible with more no of cylinders but the torque will be very less, 20 Nm not at all achievable as torque is always proportional to engine capacity, so to sum it up, you're getting a high revving engine with the torque of a normal 100cc 4 stroke...... you can check the specs of Ninja zx25r and you'll understand

    I am going for one of them N160 & N250 are identical with few minor differences. I want a city bike which is powerful and easy to ride difference of price is roughly 24-25k I am going probably with N250 with Dual channel abs i will test ride both and will make decision

    I think the same styling is a con... Bajaj should go the Yamaha way , the fzs are instantly recognisable but the 250 looks beefier. But the P250 and this dual channel P160 looks the same, that bodes well for someone buying the 160 but doesn't make the 250 owner feel special about their motorcycle. TVS also does the same thing( I don't like it) but the straight handlebar and the single piece seat on the 160 4v are atleast some differentiating factors.

    I like this bike, specially when it comes to oil cooled feature which is good deal of work in air cooled bikes. I have bajaj avenger 220 cruise 2017 modle and its ride really great comfortable and no stress on engine up till 90 to 95 KMPH and even further when bike is continuously running on this speed for 3 to 4 hrs it goes well and this is because oil cooled feature... Thanks bajaj for this

      And just to imagine Bajaj was the First company to bring small capacity oil cooled engine through 2007 Pulsar 200 DTSi..a good fifteen years back... Bajaj were way ahead of time which is something that they have forgotten nowadays...

    N160 has that same tech which Apache calls as GTT tech. But they haven't advertised about it.

    Being an avid rider that's a great proposition to have dual channel ABS at this price. And i don't mind if they don't give Bluetooth.
    Bike looks great, engine is very responsive, super light clutch and butter smooth engine. Easy sitting posture. I will buy this any day.
    And yeah Pulsar is known for having same design for all range, but even TVS has same design for all Apache range.
    My point is if they give good bikes at a better price range, then i don't care having a same design.

    hope they launch f125 with wider tyres, dual abs and 4v 6 gear matching n160 performance but beating n 160 in fuel efficiency. n160 is ugly from the front.

    If everything is same apart from engine than why will anyone buy pulsar 250.. Bajaj is itself involved in the failure of pulsar250

    definitely its a con for bajaj...i own a f250 i will definitely feel bad if i see a same bike with 160cc engine in front of me..that will destroy the visual appearence of my bike & down my biking moral☹️ bajaj should do some visual difference at least in size & graphics

      Bro some things are better off hidden.when u turn the throttle up a person thinking of ur bike to be a 160 and getting ripped apart by 24.5 bhp and 21 nm torque....trust me its all just in ur mind

    Fuel prices has impacted bajaj engineering. They have gone for torqy performance instead of higher revs experience.
