Just for the record: I think Negreanu's reasoning about higher rake was that pros would stay out and so amateurs could play together an not just end up donating to the pro in the game. It's one of those things which "sounds good" when you hear him talk about it, but it's just over-thought baloney -- rake drains everyone's pockets, simple as that.

I don't particularly love either of them, and I know Daniel can come off as unauthentic sometimes, but Doug's attacks are often below the belt and just generally very mean spirited in nature. I don't think his insults are funny or clever at all. He also carries around this extreme arrogance and pompousness that is unbearable sometimes. Which I find interesting, because I've been hanging around the 2+2 forums for a very long time and I remember at least one thread from many years ago where Doug was begging for help because he was frustrated that he couldn't beat the micros in NL cash and was looking for any help. Although he eventually worked through it and turned into a crusher, whatever little bit of humility he once had is long gone now. The video Doug released just shows the kind of person he really is, extremely uncalled for. In terms of the Twitch blow ups, Daniel just acted the way a lot of us have acted when playing and not streaming, so that's whatever to me. I'm not going to give him shit for doing something I've done many times just because he did it on camera.
