- Today I breakdown the INFAMOUS Doug Polk diss track aimed at Daniel NEGREANU that is now deleted from UA-cam. I’ve watched this video and followed along with this for the past 4 years so you didn’t have to.

Joey I'd love to see a breakdown of the entire DP/DN feud. We need it so we're properly ready for this match. According to my research, it starts in 2014. DN came out and said he was gonna come crush the 25/50 game on party poker, he just needed a couple weeks in the lab or whatever to sharpen up. DP comes out and says hey DN, all due respect, but I've been playing this 25/50 game on PP for awhile, and I think you'll need longer than two weeks to get ready. DN wasnt too pleased and got a little snippy, and DP responded sharply to that. I think that's the start of all this. Or hell, maybe something happened before then. We really need you to get to the bottom of this and give us the complete story. You're the only journalist in a position to really break this down for us. Every rivalry is a story, and the final conflict is just the last chapter of it. Before we see that last chapter we need to be told the whole story, and we've got nobody else besides you to ask for it. Thanks in advance

DP made a video explaining when he first met DN, in person, at a casino in LV. Before DP was "famous". Story told from DP perspective, but from their exchange of conversation I think the admiration DP had for DN took s sharp u-turn!!

Daniel explained the handicapped parking. It was a closed section of the lot that he had special permission to park in. He did not take a legitimate spot form a handicapped person. I’m sure Doug knows this but doesn’t care to be honest. They both have some blame on this whole thing, but this point goes to Negreanu.
What kind of half assed excuse is that? Why would HE have special permission to park there? Doesn't even make sense.
peter wright - he pays to park a motorhome in the Rio parking lot all summer long. The car parking is part of that. That’s why.
It makes complete sense. The rio has a special part of the lot for vips. It’s where Daniel keeps his rv during the WSOP. That parking lot has different rules, and only certain people are allowed in. Therefore the handicapped spots don’t carry the same rules.
For some background, I had multiple surgeries and had to park in handicapped spots for a few months. I became very aware and sensitive to people who parked there illegally.
This is a completely different situation

I’m pretty sure the picture of dnegs parking in the handicap space was a submission during the “more rake is better” contest where Doug said he’d send a signed lawn rake to funny submissions and someone saw him parked there and sent it in

I just hope they make it a fair atmosphere. Doug has been playing online for most of his career and has a huge advantage in heads up play. To help even the playing field for DNegs, I hope both players can agree on having 7x the rake.

I really used to like DN a years ago, when he played on High Stakes Poker. But in recent years it seems like he's to busy virtue signaling and promoting he's hippie lifestyle, than anything else. So I'm definitely team DP now.

Didn't Daniel tear his ACL a few years back? Not sure when the photo is from, but you can get temporary disability parking passes after having surgery that are valid for a few months.

dick castle it’s real. I remember his explanation, generally. Dnegs claimed it was during the World Series and it was a closed off section of the casino lot. I kinda believe him because I don’t know people who would park long term in a handicapped place. People I know screw up by just running into a place quickly but that’s not an excuse. It’s pretty common. I just dismiss Dnegs as an insufferable, overbearing dwarf.
You are all correct... at least, in terms of Negreanu's claims. Yes, it is an ADA spot, but it was in a lot that was closed off and reserved for both the WSOP staff plus some VIPs who had access to the area. So I DO see Negreau's side of it: all restrictions for spaces are probably no longer in effect.
On the other hand, there still could be a disabled individual working out of this closed off lot, and that person should still have access to this space if need be. On top of that, if the lot is roped off, shouldn't that mean that there are plenty of spaces available at all times? So indeed, a bad look no matter what the actual circumstances.

Joey, how about considering having Chainsaw as a guest. Hes extremely well known, World Wide in Pokersville yet all we have really seen of hhim was 2019 WSOP where DNegs had him do a couple of Cameos, and the Markup Police gig where Mouth featured "The Saw" in a few of his vids. Saw is a great all round player and has survived the rigors of living in Vegas forever, and the only ill word on him is from Todd Brunson....something about some missing Soda...EVERYTIME Chainsaw visits, but Todd being at least half smart has worked out who the culprit was, (Vid cameras everywhere helped a heap) and still welcomes him with open arms but wishes that Alan would STOP trying to use Comps from Various Casinos to buy his feed at Roma Deli Cafe, Todds much acclaimed hobby. Have you eaten there much Joey, i hear its great food and a cool atmosphere, and for poker fans who visit Vegas, Todds is a great place to see your poker heros, evenJames Woods andthe Ooka-Looka Kid eat there every time theyre in town.

I am not a fan of Dgen, but I understand the point about more rake....the concept is for the 90% rec players, rake and pros are the same thing they both take money off the table. Example, 4 pros at $25 hour = $100 $3 rake time $30 hands = $90. So theoretically for the 5 amateurs at the table a total of $190 off the table per hour. Let's say you raise the rake or do not give as much rake back to pros. The rake becomes $4x30 hands an hour = $120 in rake, but 2 of the pros do not play at the game anymore... so there are now 2 pros at $25 an hour = $50 + $120 in rake for a total of $170 total off the table per hour. So, the operators and the rec players both win on the higher rake. This is an oversimplification and is just one perspective, but you can make a reasonable case for the idea that pros are a cancer to the game.

As i understand it, DN was concerned that the reward system was tilted towards the pro's ... resulting in the decline of rec players attending the sites/venues/games - he even had stats to back up his argument. The system was milking the rec players to keep the pro's happy ... which eventually would lead to the pro's playing all with themselves - which would lead to the death of PokerStars and the likes ...
Rec players don't really study the numbers it's just about the fun experience.
