Do you remember what street this Palazzo is located on? The listing is no longer active, so perhaps someone has purchased. Thank you so much for your video and your time to respond. Cathleen
Hi Cathleen, Yes, it is on Via della Liberta in Vinchiaturo. I'm not sure if it sold. I walked by today and the for sale sign was gone. Thanks for watching our videos. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Fantastic place, would need a good 200,000 more on top of the asking price for a roof replacement and all the ceilings and floors would basically need replacing - and if they have a listed status where you have to restore the original tile floors in the rooms with damage you can double that.
@@ouritalianadventures6190 you are much too conservative in your estimate. There is water damage in the ceilings of 2 rooms where it fell on the floor, plus you hadn’t been to see all of it. These days getting supplies is difficult and time consuming, sadly. Still, from what was shown could be very grand once again but hat person would need very deep pockets.
@@billieford9683 True, you never know till you really get in there with someone who is an expert. Also, supplies are a real issue now and the cost keeps going up.
@@billieford9683 oh yeah the water damage is extensive. Man this place is a hard pass. Over in Molise there are apartment that you could move into for 30 k
I'm not sure since I've never done this level of restoration in Italy but I would guess around $150,000 but it all depends on what you would want to do.
I don't know it exactly how long since someone lived there but I would imagine it was at least 20 years. I loved the wash basin. That was very common for washing clothes. I just saw a new modern version of the sink that does the same thing so it's still a concept here for washing clothes.
Beautiful house! It's a pity they didn't show the basement or the terrace well, how much would it cost more or less for a house with these characteristics? I know it depends on tastes and what you want to do, the question is because you know the area. Thank you
It's not as easy as in the states. Most jobs are done independently not under one contractor like in the US. From my experience here so far. The realtor mentioned that the owners got an estimate of $40k to make it liveable but that must just be very basic. Maybe reach out to the realtor in the link and she can get more quotes.
You're right, thanks for pointing it out. I'm not an expert. Just a simple person trying to make a video. I meant typography but it just came out wrong. No ones perfect.
I am torn on the old Villas....the history is amazing as is the architecture. My issue is that with really old buildings like this, the thickness of walls for fortification makes things so "tight" in there I don't know if my claustrophobia would let me live there. So much potential in this though!
THAT HOUSE HAS TAKEN MORE THAN JUST A LITTLE BIT OF A BEATING,. IT'S A DISASTER THAT WOULD TAKE AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY TO MAKE IT LIVABLE AGAIN. I WOULD NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THE AGENT OR PERSON MAKING THIS VIDEO AND SHOWING SUCH A MESS.
E questo obbrobrio malconcio e pericolante dovrebbe costare meno di 3000 euro? 30000 euro per un palazzo in tale condizioni sono un furto non vale nemmeno 5000 euro. Altro che 30000😂😂😂
Beautiful, but alot of renovations to be done! Whoever renovates this-it will be amazing!
Definitely! I'm not sure if someone bought it but it's not listed anymore.
Wow!!! Love this house!!! Thanks for the tour!!!!
Glad you liked it!!
Beautiful. Love the layout
It looked like c a crawl space to attic.
Wonderful investment.
Its in a really great part of town and you can walk to everything.
Beautiful! Very unfortunate it was allowed to deteriorate. A lot of work and $$$ to restore.
I know, I hate to see it just fall to pieces.

Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
Amazing place with history but oh my the restoration costs! Such a shame to be left to ruin. Thanks for showing it.
restoration will cost a lot more then the house itself, everything needs to be done all over again, probably full of mold and rats

I was thinking 100k to 150k but I didn't see the roof, maybe I'll take my drone over and film it.

Scary !!!! My wife will adore living here😮
It's a great town to live in.
Looks lovely....those tiles 😍
Right?!
All it needs is a lick of paint.
Great potential
That’s Ernesto d’aquila family
I always wanted to go in his house back in the day
Wow they really let it go
Yes, they are trying to sell it but sadly needs a lot of work. It needs someone to bring it back to it's former life.
Where is it? What town?
It is in a small town in Molise called Vinchiaturo
Looks really interesting. Which area is it ?
Thanks vor showing.
Thank you. It's in the old section of Vinchiaturo but I think it's been bought.
What City are you in?
Vinchiaturo Italy in the Molise region. Close to the major city of Campobasso.
How much it will cost in renovation
Very much at least $200 000.00 euros or more this house is falling apart…
I'm not sure since I've never done this level of restoration in Italy but I would guess around $150,000 but it all depends on what you would want to do.
when was the last time anyone lived there? ive never seen a wash basin like that.amazing

I think you could make it really great with a $100k to $150k
Would help if you spoke to a local contractor for an estimate for fixing it up.

You have no idea what topography is.
why do you say that? it is a little rude. There are better ways of saying something!
@@Dan-xx5jq I'm sure there are. But you shouldn't be offended by your own ignorance. Try googling what "topography" means instead.
You're right, thanks for pointing it out. I'm not an expert. Just a simple person trying to make a video. I meant typography but it just came out wrong. No ones perfect.
I wouldn’t call this a palazzo! Just looks like a regular house. A real fixer-upper!
I agree but that's what they were calling it. A lot of rooms weren't safe to go into so we only say pieces of the palazzo.
Dilapidated, requires a substancial investment to take it ot modern comfort...

nice, but to much to invest
Totally agree but so sad to see it get worse and worse.
And add 300.000€ for make it habitable!
I'm sure it would take a lot of money to bring it back to what it was.
Are you sure that’s not a dollar euro
Not so far but I think it's sold.
Too high of a price for something so deteriorated. Lots and lots of $$$$$$ to even stabilize etc.
You don't say where the ##% it is !!!
Sorry about that, it's in the listing. It is in a small town in Molise called Vinchiaturo.
$200,000 euros minimum to restore this one.
That would be my guess as well AND provided a good contractor could be obtained.

Penso che sia per questo che è ancora in vendita.
Too much to repair and remodel it. Trash!
Eeeetchiiiuuuuuu😂

What a dump !😄😄
One man's dump is another man's treasure. LOL. I think it sold since it's not listed any more but I haven't seen any work being done on it.
that place is a disaster
