Looks super nice!! Only wish they would've vaulted the ceilings and put in a big sky light as the roof blocked basically all of the light going into the house. But the design is flawless, modern, functional, luxurious!

No I think they built it right, that's why they have the outdoor area near the fire pit for sunbathers. It would be nice to sit on that deck on a warm day with a cold beer. Go downstairs for the sun.

Phenomenal work. I do wonder how you are able to make such a large structure without pouring any concrete footings. I saw the machine piledrive the steel poles into the ground. So, I guess if those poles/pillars go down far enough then that will be sufficient to not need concrete footings?? Either way this looks amazing and I certainly would want something similar attached to our new home build currently in progress. I probably would want a couple skylights so it just a little brighter underneath. Thanks for sharing the video, awesome work!!
Thanks a lot!! The footings are called helical piles and the machine can read the torque at which they are being installed. The engineer will spec a certain amount of torque needed to achieve for each footing depending on the load and that way we can be 100% sure they will never move under the load

It’s like saying “how dare you love me so little to not acknowledge how I try to love you”...by not communicating you’ll be late, or might not being consistent, and reliable. Often wives won’t get mad...if you respectfully give a heads up. “Hey, I’m running an hour late, don’t worry about dinner”, or “today I have a long project, don’t have a time frame for when I’ll be home...but when I do, I’ll let you know”. As long as consistent, dependable communication, and respect is happening...you can prevent much anger. Depending on the person’s attachment style, they also have core wounds that can be activated..you could be triggering some pretty intense pain points. “Anything that is hysterical, is historical” It’s like when someone slaps your sunburn. The sunburn was already there, maybe they couldn’t see it...because of a shirt, but that slap hurts. If you know your wife’s attachment style and her core wounds, you can do things that encourage trust, connection and respect...she’ll feel loved...and be way less likely to be angry. It means you can be late from work too, as long as you keep her in the loop (that’s an expression of trust building and respect).

Locality makes a difference with a place like an expensive DC suburb would maybe be 250k and somewhere in a low cost midewestern or southern state would be 100k.

Question ? Is the foundation adequate in comparison to that much weight. Seems like that addition should have had a concrete and rebar foudation to prevent sagging/ settling for long-term. That seems like a lot of weight? They done a beautiful job...looks great...but will it stand the test of time without a concrete and steel foundation?

If ppl don’t realize this has to cost in excess of 100k EASILY. To the skilled tradesmen, materials alone would be yikes ! The pavers and that speciality decking would be mucho expensive. Hell the landscaping plants alone would set u back thousands at the size they planted! After building my own house, it’s amazing how u can look at something and get a feel for how high it will go!! Outstanding design Love the modern feel tho the house doesn’t even match it. Tho I wouldn’t care

Question ? Is the foundation adequate in comparison to that much weight. Seems like that addition should have had a concrete and rebar foudation to prevent sagging/ settling for long-term. That seems like a lot of weight? They done a beautiful job...looks great...but will it stand the test of time without a concrete and steel foundation?
It doesnt seem like alot of weight it is alot of weight. I would have gone with concrete to be sure. How are those skinny metal post not going to sink with all that weight on top of them

Helicles can withstand a lot of weight. I've used them many times building decks
@@Corvus_Crow True, agreed fine and dandy for a deck. But this build was way more weight than a deck. Was a room addition.
