- We have been searching all over the Yellowstone area for grizzly bears this summer, and we FINALLY found one. On a beautiful day in October, we finally came upon a "bear jam" in the Tom Miner basin.
She was beautiful, with her winter coat fully developed and she was digging for roots and the occasional ground squirrel. But enough of my description! Watch the awesome bear yourself!
Amazing! So thrilling. Your patience was rewarded!
I've lived in Montana for almost four years. I've seen a lot of black bears, one from about eight feet, but no grizzlies yet! My wife really loves seeing bears and I can't wait to see a grizzly. It is really great that the bear stayed there for so long. Great video. I really liked the scene where you dropped down from the high point on a peak down to the bear!
It’s always nice to view a grizzly from the safety of a car. We couldn’t believe how long the grizzly stayed there as well! It was a really cool experience.
Cool to see a bear without the big collar. This was really good :)
Thanks!
Enjoyed the video & the beauty of yellowstone 💕😼
The most grizzly bear I saw there was 13 one night in late August. Also had a close encounter with a black wolf, it eventually met up with 3 gray wolves. It was epic!
That is SO cool!
I hate when people do that at the gas station. How inconsiderate! Enjoyed these trips with you.Summer of 2005 we worked in Cody for 5 months. Lots of trips into Yellowstone in May, early June and after Labor Day. The summer season we stayed away as we hate the traffic. Lots of other places to explore in Western Wyoming.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing, Chuck! and thanks for the positive feedback too.
Wow I love 2 see a grizzly bear in the wild ....
