Nice work man... Im not sure how old you are, but after talking about the loop on the '80's Guv, i got to thinking about what i wish i wouldve had (technology wise) when i was young in the 80s-90s and i think hands down it would be an attenuator... There were attempts to do attenuation back then, but they all failed miserabley... To be able to cook tubes without peeling the skin off your face is my favorite peice of gear today... (I have the ToneKing Iron Man II, but they all are really good today)
Thanks man, I'm 32. So being born in '92 this guv is 4 years older than me, but I love the 80s music and much of the gear that came out within this decade. I started playing guitar when I was 13 in 2005, that's probably the reason I'm so obsessed with pedals rom that time, I have so many now 20 year old pedals, that I couldn't afford as a kid. I know what an attenautor is, but since I'm not really a tube amp guy, I have no use for it. But I keep seeing them everywhere, so they must be good. Anyway, thanks for regularly watching my content, brother 🤝🏻
The Guv'nor was ment to give a similar amount of drive as a loud JCM 800 being driven without having to turn the amp monstrously loud. It doesn't work with solid state amps. And not really supposed to be a metal type high gain drive. Think more Gary Moore Still got the blues era. But it sounded fine in your video
Thanks for watching. True, it's definitely not a high gain metal pedal. I purposely avoided mentioning Gary Moore since that's what everyone does, it seems. So I didn't want to be just another "Hey Gary Moore used this pedal" guy. But I agree with you. This pedal with a solid state amp...meh

Subscribed because of The Crow shirt. The pedal review is cool too.
Thanks man 🤝🏻
Yeah, awesome movie! Too bad what happened to Brandon Lee 😪
