plants 100% absorb CO2 and increasing the CO2 concentration will let plants grow faster. normally CO2 levels are the same field to field so it doesnt matter and people focus on nitrates, but you can grow some wild crops by increasing CO2 levels.

Woody, don't you keep aquariums? at around 1:50:00 you say if you want to turbo charge a plant, you don't give it CO2- that is absurd. maybe this is a freshwater thing, but people absolutely inject c02 into their aquariums to aid plant growth. pointless to do it for terrestrial farming since it just goes into the air but in an aquarium it dissolves into the water and aids plant growth greatly

If you want to turbocharge a plant you absolutely add carbon dioxide. Higher co2 helps terrestial plants to but also aquatic plants highly benefit from added co2 in the tank. Woody should know that seeing as he's into aquariums. Something to do with speeding up photosynthesis and basically how fast they can grow. They don't use it like they do nitrogen It affects how fast they can use things like nitrogen to grow if I remember right
