A keto diet works and vegan/plantbase diet works as well. You have to try both or do your research to see which fits your lifestyle better. I started out plantbase for two years. I did see some difference but I was struggling with my weight and other symptoms because I found out I had PCOS as well. I didn’t want to lower or cut my carbs so I tried it low GI carbs. Nothing worked. I gave in and tried keto/carnivore man o man my mood and energy changed drastically, wasn’t fatigued and I finally started losing weight. I have not seen any growth in my fibroids either. Thinking back my Gynecologist did recommend I focus on managing my PCOS first but I was stubborn. So really do your research and try things out.
I started keto (pescetarian) about six weeks ago and my fibroid has considerably shrunk. I can no longer feel it and my stomach is almost flat again! Check out Dr. Ken Berry's video on keto for fibroids. He links to research articles as well. It was challenging at first but now I feel like I can do keto to forever. It's very healthy (lots of home cooking and veggies). Give it a try!

@@UniqueSol504 firstly, you must change your diet. Cut out all red meats. Do vegetables, fruits, fish, exercise. You need to get your hormones balanced. There is no quick fix. I also take herbs to assist, vitex, mother's wort, red clover, I make a tea (herbs not the pill form). I was scheduled for a surgery and I totally panicked. Chose not to do it. If it takes a year to shrink, so be it. I have 3 fibroids. My painful periods have lessened, no more breast tenderness, bloating. I have pain but not to the extreme, I can control with a hot water bottle.

These are the herbs I use, I haven't done the medicine but I use the herbs as a fusion, bring water to a boil, let draw, add 1tsp acv or lemon juice and drink 1-2glasses a day, is what I use. I also did a colon cleanse before I started this program. I walk regularly and exercise now, as an added benefit I have lost weight and I get compliments on my skin glowing. I also had a problem with my Bladder not being emptied. This has improved. I do eat chicken but not as often as before. Surgery is scary. How old are you? Why is the doctor recommending that you do a hysterectomy?

I’ve been trying to conceive through IUI & ICI since 2017 late 2017 I found out I had 35 Fibroid Tumors that caused me to look 5 months pregnant . I got them removed early 2018 and still unable to conceive . I’m 32 and I feel like time is against me . It’s hard to find a doctor that looks like me seeing this lowered my anxiety a bit I’ll keep trying !

I tried everything when I had fibroids. It was something I’ve been dealing With since early 2000s. I’ve tried everything! When 2020 came I decided to have a hysterectomy. I couldn’t do it no more. I actually feel better now then I ever have

@@fanny3796 actually my pain was very minimal. It was more of just getting your body back to normal after having your abdomen cut open. It was about a 8-12 week recovery for me cause I had to get my appendix out as well. Dang on fibroids attached themselves to that too. My niece had a hysterectomy and she recovered in about 4 weeks

Increased green leafy foods, citrus fruits, flax seeds and whole grains. I started that to help with that fibroids but now I just do it cause it’s more healthy lol
