Tommy Emmanuel - Soulful Chet Medley

Touched by the special atmosphere backstage Tommy Emmanuel plays a very unusual Chet Atkins medley, extremely soulful, emotional and melodic in my humble opinion.
Songs included:

- Sukiyaki
- Happy Again
- Eternally (Terry's Theme from Charlie Chaplin's Limelight)
- Jean
- Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Inspired by Dave Pomeroy, Richard Smith, Pat Bergeson, John Knowles and, most of all, The Man himself, Mister Guitar: Chester Burton Atkins, CGP.

This is honestly the very first time that I have sat through a Tommy Emmanuel video that did not include Brad Paisley only because my influences have came from different places! This guy is truly amazing! Totally captivating, and awe inspiring! Thank you for posting the video! A truly gifted individual!

The 4th tune by Rod McKuen was a hit for "Oliver" in1969 named : "Jean". Oliver also did well with "Good Morning Starshine". Chet had taste with a capital "T" and an unfailing ability to pick great melodies to lend his guitar and his unmistakable touch to. This forgotten gem was both a beautiful melody and a lyric to match. Tommy gives"Jean" its beautiful due, segueing into "Over the Rainbow" - a perfect follow on to "Jean". Well suited to a tribute for CBAcgp.

There's two unamed songs. The 4th song is the main theme from Charlie Chaplin's "LImelight" and the 5th is a theme from a western ..... I think it's "The Big Country", but I may be wrong about that!
