We had our three-week honeymoon in Portugal. We went north through Obidos, Tomar, up through Condeixa-a-Velha to Valenca, Sanfins and Lindoso, across to Bragança, and down through Castello Velho do Freixo da Numao, Monsanto, Marvão, Évora and down to Castro Marim and back up passing through Minas do Lousal and other interesting places (and yes, we went to the better known places, too). We rented a car, found a B&B or hotel every afternoon for that evening, and just explored. Great food, great people, and fascinating history. We picked up fresh fruit most days off the side of the road or at just stopped at the next Pingo Doce. Our one regret was we simply not afford, at the time, to stay at a Pousadas de Portugal. Great video, and it brings back some memories.
