I know I was just going to say that. I see a lot of videos and it seems almost impossible to know where to go. I wish somebody would explain it. Maybe it color or shape has a meaning.
I wanna sey that to but mostly they train on simulators so they know the track before they are there but stil i would get lost😆 and you must to have good gear otherwise youre vid stream will crap out
I saw someone flying one of these real drones(not a cheap walmart one) at the park the other month. Crazy how fast they can maneuver. My dog hated it lol.
@@emanuelefreni6414 Think of it like the diversity receiver in your goggles. Except there are way more than 2 receivers and they are spread all over the track and a wire is run to each reciever and you just plug your fatsharks into the video out of your channel.
@@sqlevolicious gonna be honest, I did not know that. last air race I remember hearing about was an annual thing a bushplane club does in the rockies, and that's more of an endurance and adaptation thing than anything else: loooooots of landing and taking off from tiny places over the course of a few hours.
Because they are not 20km away, lol. 5.8 GHz at 500 meters is ideal and best for low latecny and crystal clear picture at 60hz/60fps, but the average radio transceivers on these things can easily support 1080p 60hz signals at around 10-17km The DJI FPV drone can transmit 4k 60fps at around 6-10km (almost 5x the data), just for comparison.
I just think is hard to follow the racing, why do they make the tracks so complicated and convoluted? make a simpler tracker and slower drones, something the expectator can follow a little bit easier
Even with the bright neon lights it's still not obvious how they know where to go.
I know right? It's just unbelievable
I know I was just going to say that. I see a lot of videos and it seems almost impossible to know where to go. I wish somebody would explain it. Maybe it color or shape has a meaning.
Its racing and they are good. So they can remember the track and already be a curve or more forward inside their mind.

Bennie Leip DRL provides the video feed set up so they have video that can work around walls.
Holy cow, that is unbelievable. Incredible talent.
It sounds like all the drones are yelling "WOOOOOOOOO!" The whole time
Exactly! 😁😂
Rewatched it. Still laughing
they are Ultra underpower !! thats why :D
90% of the time when I get a new personal best on the DRL sim, I make that sound with the drone as it goes in the basket lol
😂😂 I TURNED THE VOLUME UP AND YO... YOUR COMMENT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT 😂😂
I hope this sport grows quickly.
Saaame I love flying drones I have 5 and counting unfortunately I don't have any drone groups or clubs nearby in Dayton oh
From Miami to Las Vegas! The party never stops
they did now they even explode
This.. is fuggin insane. Still blows my mind what these drone pilots can do
Absoluty amazing video => Location and video quality at 110% 👌
that maneuver where he has to make a quick u turn like move to fly through the hole is insane.
Sick Course!
the coolest thing i've seen in a while
amazing skills. This is better than F1, sooccer, etc.
The graphics looks so good

Amazing track, hope I can be part of it someday
Have you been practicing?
I dont dance now
I fly drones my *dudeee*
wow ,,, ias it in fast motion or what !!! its insane !!!
Now, that's razor sharp!!
This is a Dream of mine. Awesome
Its like flying through the Deathstar in Starwars.
This must be bloody fun.
this is super impressive
That is awesome great skills
It looks so real
Insane how do you know what gate to hit?
practice
It takes time. But once you're 10 packs in it's easier.
mfpv_detroit best guess
they practice the track many times before the actual race
Omg this looks soooooooo fun
Very good! It would have been greater with the upside down move on the ascending part!
Please come back to miami!
This video got me like woooohoooo
It sounds like the drones are on a rollercoaster!😮😲
I remember when I spotted for him at the Texas multiGP regional race!
are there some kind of repeater or is their fpv signal so strong that I goes through all the walls?
Jann Pe yes they use FPV repeaters with a proprietary system as well.
GostFalconFPV Can you describe me this system?

Are u kidding. How friggin cool
Well done Gil 👊👍🐰
0:41 DEJA VU
Awesome
Looks & feels like a video Game.
Now THIS is podracing
Impressive.
They make it look so easy
Insane
There gotta be a time when we get to do this with our body in some kinda Aerial Vehicle!
Some Diddy Kong Racing vibs for some reason lol🤙🏼
um, the redbull airrace has been a thing for a very long time
@@sqlevolicious gonna be honest, I did not know that.

Hardcore!
A frightening sound on the battlefield 😢
Hi sweet page ☺ Keep it up!
Nice !
I still remember what heat this was in.
Holy crap that is quick, im terrible at drone racing but good at freestyle.
Damn that’s amazing I haven’t flown a drone in two years I hope I still got it
That boy fast
It's like they made the pod racing from Phantom Menace into a real sport.
How does the pilot maintain connection through all those walls?
Pro - nice ^^
Crazy 😱😱😱
Super impressive. God bless. Jesus loves you!
Nice
Miami Dade county 🙋👦
It has the same colour scheme as Miami Vice!
It reminds me of playing wipeout on play station
Man I want to fly like that! Any recommendations on how to get started?
Scott Schneider simulator with radio and run the most difficult course until you get a time your satisfied with.
i would say try out the drone racing league simulator. thats how i got into it
yasinhenfs thanks man will do. Velocidrone good too?
@@icecorebaby would be weird if not haha
you havent started in the last year? :(
I think this is gonna be one of the minigames comming for GTA 6 lol
Who won?
Hop on DRL and play this exact race. I've almost beaten this time of 53.5 but there's faster rn. 45 sec I've seen
O could easily pay to watch races of this type.
What repeaters are they using?
I cannot finish it because I got dizzy half through but incredible skill
Where is my Gravol? lol. WOW
Put it on 2x it’s smooth
Sweet mother of kwad!
If they want this to become more popular, they need to fix the tracks and make it more obvious where they have to go for regular viewers
That would be too easy and boring for the racers
DRL is an enthusiast sport, it's not meant for the average crowd.
Sounds like your getting some oscillations on your roll.
Looks more like 128bits of Gil
Missouri Parkway
How do you even know where to go?!
They were told about the track before hand and studied it on a simulator or right there before the competition.
Where can I buy this drone?
sound like powerpuff girl doing oooweeeeeeeeeee while flying.
its like a dream lol
Hilll Meadow

how can he see and navigate

How do they not lose connection?
Because they are not 20km away, lol.

Jalen View
Bridgette Parkways
Kutch Club
Does a pilot have to sit in those gaming chairs while flying?
Some of them stand
what the heck
I feel like they just fast forwarded the video
Its not fast forwarded and its tricky to navigate your drone through the obstacles at a high speed without crashing it.
They absolutely did not, go watch other videos of DRL.
Toy Mills
Orn Bypass
Thiel Wall
Motors are making trilling noises, too much D.
WHAT STRIP CLUB IS THIS?!
These racers on liftoff are soooo much faster.
I have seen faster…..
