The depth of this conversation is what I seek to contemplate, so thank you for presenting St. Elizabeth so beautifully. Learning about her, I sense and resonate with her search for peace with the grace of Jesus. I'm also sensitive and recognise in myself these same challenges. How encouraging.

All new and all inspiring. Thank you. As I have recently begun decerning becoming a 3rd order, Camelite and I have been working on integrating the 7 paused times throughout the day for the little office of the blessed virgin Mary. Praying the full rosary daily is much easier because I can pray and continue to drive, walk or wait.

The depth of this conversation, for me, is difficult to comprehend. I listen for about a half hour with lots of "review." This is my 4th day interacting with this episode. I'LL probably never gain all that's here. It's beautiful. Thanks for this series.

Thank you for sharing your insights and knowledge on St. Elizabeth of the Holy Trinity, is this the same or different St. Elizabeth of Hungry? As it was her feast day around the time of this interview?? St. Elizabeth is practically new to me despite it being my patron saint for my Holy Confirmation. I guess the beauty of youtube is discovering more easily all the treasures of our Catholic faith.😊❤

" Developing your instrument." You bring up music often in this podcast. Maybe our soul is like an instrument. Our Blessed Mother told us to, " listen to him"; to listen to Jesus, at the wedding in Cana.
My Mother once told me, when I was around four or five years old, after Holy Mass one Sunday, to listen to one word or sentence from the Liturgies, and to bring it home to think about quietly. She said, "put it in your 'pocket' and take it home to think about". I had been complaining to her that I could not understand anything at Church. I remember trying out my Mom's suggestion that very day. When we got home from Church, I went outside and found a rock to sit on. I was observing a black ant tugging on and pulling a dead beetle twice his size, traversing over a jungle of rocks, grasses and clover. I thought that I would pull out of my imaginary "pocket" the words I brought home; the words I had heard at Mass that morning. They were,
"God Is, Was and Always Will Be".
I turned those words around and around in my little brain. At the same time, I was watching the ant. I saw the dead beetle in the grasp of the ant. I saw how big I was in relationship to this ant and his ant hill, which he could not see, but I could see from my vantage point up high. I understood that the beetle was born, and had died. I understood that I was born, but one day I would also die. My four or five year old self did not have a fear of death and dying yet.
A light bulb went on in my head..."maybe, God is way bigger than me, like I am to the ant and the ant hill, I thought, and maybe "God can see things that I can't see", I thought. I remember being satisfied with that thought, and very happy. I did not know it then, but my Mom had introduced me to prayer, quiet time, Lectio Devina, and the Mystery of God. I continued to take home with me in my "pocket" just one small word or sentence from the Liturgies throughout my childhood. I still do it now. I see how important quiet time is. And how important the beauty of nature is. God speaks to us through the beauty and the wonders of nature, helping us perfect our "instrument" , our souls. I had never heard of St. Elizabeth of the Holy Trinity, but another Saint who contemplated the Mystery of the Holy Trinity was St. Maximilian Kolbe. This drew him ever closer to the Mystery of our Blessed Mother Mary. The one thought that struck me while learning about St. Maximilian Kolbe was about prayer. If we align our prayer with the Holy Spirit at our side, and as our guide, and his loving gaze is upon our Blessed Mother, and Jesus, you can already sense the swelling of Love and warmth in your own heart, you can sense and even be immersed in this Trinitarian Love. Thank you, for your podcast. God Bless you all. It's like drinking from a well of fresh cool water. Shalom.

Thank you so much for this! I have become more aware of St Eliz of the Trinity from listening to Dr Anthony Lilles at Discerning Hearts, so was very happy to find and to listen to your extensive talk. It's all just so thought provoking. I appreciate your dedication and your desire to enlighten us, who so much need enlightenment. Thank you! Keep it up!

ST. MOTHER TERESA OF CALCUTTA: “We create all kinds of difficulties in our prayer. Let us go back to what Jesus has taught - the intimate and simple prayer: ‘Our Father...’ Even little children can pray this.”

No one does things by themselves: if they think that they are doing it themselves, they are simply deceiving themselves...it is all God and God alone who does it...whether you ask him to do it or not--it is he who is doing it....period...to not reach this conclusion is deceit and is not Truth--and is not of God...dts/usa
