Congratulations! If one of these (or all) future EUCs could withstand frequent rainy, wet, winter commutes - where at the end of each ride, you can spray-flush it clean with a garden hose - and water runs off it like washing a car - day in and day out - with no bearing issues, rust, sand accumulations on the inside, or water ingress - that would be nice. I know it can be done - just look at cars, you never think twice about getting them wet or hosing them down.

2p configuration af batteries according to my AI bot means 2P configuration in batteries refers to a specific arrangement of cells where two cells are connected in parallel. This means the positive terminals of both cells are connected together, and the negative terminals are connected together. Here's what happens when cells are connected in parallel: Increased Capacity: The total capacity of the battery is doubled compared to a single cell. This means the battery can store and deliver twice the amount of energy. Same Voltage: The voltage of the battery remains the same as that of a single cell. This is because the cells are connected in parallel, not in series. Increased Current: The maximum current that the battery can deliver is doubled. This is because the two cells are working together to supply current. Improved Discharge Rate: The battery can discharge at a faster rate without overheating or damaging the cells. This is because the current is divided between the two cells. In summary, a 2P configuration provides a higher capacity, the same voltage, a higher current, and a faster discharge rate compared to a single cell.
As far as the long range wheels go, adding more and more weight just seems like such a pointless thing. 160 lbs. At that point, and at that price, ya may as well buy an e-motorcycle. A 160 lb EUC is going to be unwieldly. If you're traveling that far, then the only thing an EUC has going for it is novelty. An e-moto will simply be an overall better choice in terms of potential range, in terms of locking it up, in terms of safety, and in terms of storage. Storage being important because at the range you're getting at 6 kWh, I imagine the only reason to buy it is to go on road trips. IMO, these producers should be looking to increase range with next generation higher density battery cells, like SSBs that can nearly double the battery capacity at the same weight and volume. I mean, we're already seeing 4000 Wh packs in 100 lb EUCs. Imagine doubling the range and the EUC still being 100 lbs and the same footprint? I really think EUC OEMs need to concentrate on improving the form factors they already have with more power, more overhead, better safety systems, reduced weight, and a point that's been overlooked for awhile now... better battery safety. Smaller wheels have gotten no smart BMS love. While smart BMS are nice, there's still a fire risk. IMO, the ultimate safety feature that would really send PEVs to the next level would be battery cells that are either incapable of starting on fire, or if a cell goes into thermal runaway, it won't set the entire pack ablaze. Being able to safely store EUCs without any fear of the battery burning your house or apartment building down would be a game changer.
