Nice work! Great to see you getting your helpers involved. I'm glad to see you don't need to be a pro to lay stuff like this down. You've got fantastic production values. I've been watching a bunch of your videos and I'm impressed with the last six months of content. Keep it up, it's very informative, inspiring stuff.
Well, thanks so much. Appreciate it!
The floor looks fantastic. Great Job Justin
Thanks!
Thank you, a nice job on your flooring and the video was done really well too.
Thanks so much 🙏
Too funny! I just saw this video today, 6 weeks after I installed mine. We did it almost verbatim, even down to the trim and tools. So, we both did it right! The only difference I had was applying the adhesive with a 3/8" nap roller. The manufacturer recommended either way, and I can say that it looks great!
Oh nice! Yea love it. We have been working 7 days a week for the past 3mo with it and it’s holding up perfect
Great to see a well done video showing exactly what I will be doing soon. I've watched so many others who are just hacks looking for clicks and would like to congratulate you for doing an outstanding job! Thanks for the professionalism and step by step instructions. Cheers!
Oh awesome thanks for that! I try to be as thorough as possible! Have fun with your project!
i just wanted to thank you for the product highlight. i have been struggling to find the right flooring for a 8.5 x 20 cargo trailer. most places offer 7 feet or 10 feet wide. these guys offer 8.5 wide so its gonna make it a lot easier.
Oh awesome glad I could help! It really is some quality stuff yea later after 24/7 use and it still looks new
That flooring looks great! I’m contemplating using that in an outdoor shed. Seems to be a great resilient option.
Yea couldn’t be happier with it, think it would be great for a shed. I’d call them so ask if you would want the trailer grade or if the garage grade would work. Both are anti expansion / contraction but the trailer grade is more so
Wow, this flooring looks great. I've been looking for something like this for my garage floor. Thanks for the informative video!!
Your welcome! Check out their website link to in the description. They have a lot of really cool options! I couldn’t be happier with mine!
Great video
Just what I'm looking for
Thanks
Thanks! It’s a really nice product, we just finished working for 5months 7 days a week in the trailer. It’s a crazy mess. Took a hose to wash it and looks new again 👍
Amazing looking floor material. Thanks for bringing it to attention on your build out of your new trailer.
thanks I really love it!
Thank you for showing me this product.
No prob!
Nice, detailed install. See folks, it’s not bad to have OCD! Projects come out great and in this case, your final product will last exponentially longer. Well presented. Nice to see you back with content, I was about to send out the bloodhound’s 😊.
Haha thanks yea I went on vacation for 2 weeks so now I have a pile of videos to catch up on!
Looks great I just bought a trailer and really need this!
Yea very happy I did it, 6mo later still looks new even after my crew used it 7days a week for that time. Washes up easy
Love this video.💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Thanks 💯!
Nice video, fyi, I found that catcher leg guards work better for me than the knee pads.
Good to know!
I got a case of being old just watching you do this. My back would have been done within the first 2 mins
I hear ya it was a workout
Thanks for the awesome detailed video. I am getting ready to do the same install in my utility trailer as well. I would like to know the lights you have installed in yours they look nice and bright and neat.
Thanks! Here I did a video on them Coolest Trailer Lighting! Hexagon Garage Lights - Ultimate Trailer Build #2

Looks amazing. Where did you find the aluminum trim pieces?
Thanks! You can buy them at Home Depot or Lowe’s, but I went to a local metal supply house. Try googling it. You might be surprised that there’s one near you.
Looks fantastic!! How is the floor holding up as far as durability? I DO REMODELING work and I'm a little concerned with any rips from tools that scrap. I haven't decided to do this or epoxy yet. Also, those LED LIGHTS WOW! where did you get those?
Have a few videos on the trailer build including the lights so check them out 👍 it’s PERFECT still. I just finished up my Christmas light season so my guys were using the trailer seven days a week for four months, the main walking area was pretty dirty and I just mopped it with a wet swiffer and it looks brand new again I haven’t had any tears gouges or anything, and I’ve been throwing lots of plywood in lately, which then scrapes along the floor as we put it in and take it out I had wondered about it thinking maybe I needed to put something else down right there for the plywood but it’s holding up without any issues, A+ product
Got a link for that awesome trailer light??? That looks amazing!!!!

That flooring looks great! Very sleek with the silver trim. Would this flooring be good in my basement? It’s a little damp?
Thanks! I really like it as well! It’s definitely a product that can be used in a basement. The company is really helpful. You might want to go to their website bltllc.com and shoot them an email or a phone call as they’re going to know better than I will on the dampness item.
Looks great, I will be doing this for my newly acquired 7x12 motorcycle trailer. What scews did you use for the aluminum trim in the trailer and on the ramp? Did you just screw into the wood floor or did you try to get into the metal frame?
I use stainless steel screws with very flatheads that way if it gets exposed to liquids it’s not gonna be an issue I used 1 inch so only going through the trim into the wood no need to go into the metal frame
I just purchased a new 6' x 12' enclosed trailer to haul my quad and gear. It came with an upgrade of plywood walls and floor and I began searching UA-cam for floor coverings. I found your video to be one of the best! I really appreciate all the details you added. I found a good price on a 8.5' x 22' roll from Home Depot and will do the install soon. I've already painted all the walls with 2 coats of "silver bullet" (trailer is silver to match my truck ; ) and it looks really nice. I'm getting the rest of the gear together and was wondering what length of screws you used for the trim? I'm thinking 1" is plenty long enough to get through the aluminum trim and flooring and into the plywood. Thanks again! 👍
Oh sounds awesome! Always fun to build out a new trailer! For the trim I believe I did 3/4in screws on the pull down and 1in inside, I still love the flooring, after my crew used it 7 days a week Oct-Feb it still looks new 👍 (after taking a swiffer wetjet to it lol)
Looks great. Was the underside of the trailer undercoated? I mean the bottom side of the wood floor from underneath. I'm surprised that most trailer manufacturers don't. I suppose it increases their sales when the wood floors rot from the bottom up.
Yes it was undercoated, I spent more on the aluminum with all the perks. Just like in woodworking if you seal one side but not another it can cause bowing. So same here since we’re sealing the top with the flooring it’s best if the undercoat is on
@@BitnerBuilt Good to hear. I see a lot of people put a lot of money into the inside of a trailer and never think about one of the primary destroyers of trailers.

“very large” = #3 phillips
“large recess bit” = #18 countersink.
👍
Do you have a video on the Hyper-Lite system you installed. I want to do the exact same thing, and curious if you are powering with just 110AC or running of dedicated 12VDC. Much appreciated on anything you can share. Thanks, Mark

what size aluminum trim did you use, I know you mentioned 3/4", I am seeing several thickness on HomeDepot. 1/20", 1/16", and 1/8", which one?
I believe 1/16 but I did buy a 1/8 piece for for the transition from the door to the trailer (gets hit a lot by wheeled items) I actually purchased mostly from a local metal supply, was cheaper than HD
I’m planning to convert an E-series CargoMate 8x16 V-nose to a combo 2 room restroom & equipment trailer for Cowlitz County WA Search & Rescue. This requires 2 walls (2 RV doors RF side), plumbing, wiring, & cabinetry. Adding insulation etc behind side & cross walls - would you still do flooring after sidewalls, or before anything else, the very first item in?
I think I would do it after the sidewalls just like you would doing a typical construction home. It will also make it a lot easier to handle the material because it’s gonna be cut into smaller pieces and based on ordering from G floor you might be able to put it into Two smaller boxes etc. that make the shipping cheaper. One large ultra heavy roll. Can be a lot more expensive to ship.
Was the temperature during application specified by the manufacturer? I think I saw "G-Floor glue" also...is that correct? How much was required for your project? Trailer size 7 X 16? Great job!
Hi Rick yes they specified the temp I used their glue for the application. The provided a big 5gal bucket for me that was wayyy too much for the 7x16ft trailer I’d say 2.5-3 gal did the job
Where did you get the trim molding?
they sell it at Home Depot and Lowes in the metal section, but I googled a metal supply house and had one near me so I bought from there a little cheaper
Great Video. Where did you get the trim pieces?
Thanks! You can buy them at Home Depot or Lowe’s, but it is cheaper if you find a local metal supply store, which is where I went and bought them
Where did you get the interior lighting? Thanks.

How much adhesive did you need for the whole job?
That’s a tough one. They sent me a 5 gallon and a 1 gallon if I had to guess I probably used 3 gallons and that includes doing the rear door.
Where you got the aluminum trim
Home Depot Lowe’s or a metal supply store (they are around if you google them)
Is there an alternative glue that you would recommend?
Hi Rick, I used their glue so I can’t really speak to any other as I haven’t used it.
Looks great. How much to install mine 😂
Hahaha only if it’s in an air conditioned warehouse 😂
is there any concern with trapping moisture?
If the floor is placed down with without adhesive, there would be. But when you’re using the glue, and then the roller, Your permanently bonding and creating that glue layer that’s not going to allow any moisture
I want info on your lights in the trailer
here you go! ua-cam.com/video/_F_R9flnLnA/v-deo.html
Great video, although It looked like you trimmed the whole rear door and did not install the flap section, maybe you changed your mind.
I did trim it all the way but then when I installed it, oomph the weight. Decided since I don’t bring vehicles etc into the trailer I would leave that back flap off and save myself some gas!
where you get the apron from?
amzn.to/3UqkYcB
What did you do to the walls?
Painted black and then added French cleats, should have the final tour video coming out monday
@BitnerBuilt it looks great, any specific kind of paint? You've motivated me to redo the inside of my 24 footer. Already ordered the flooring.
Oh, cool! I did urethane enamel, trying to make it as tough as possible. I’m actually finally filming my final trailer tour tonight. Should be up tomorrow or the next day!
Definitely more steps than epoxy.
Yes definitely however I did my previous trailer with one of the rock sold epoxy kits (don’t recommend that brand) the wood soaked it up during the drying process and so the result was thin and it ended up cracking and peeling after a year. If doing it again I would do multiple coats
I want to do this, but my patience will not allow me.
There’s always the guys who buy this, throw it on the floor unglued and call it a day, all depends on what you want out of it
Good video.
I'm just as worried about quality.
Thanks.
Definitely. We just finished our season working with the trailer 7days a week for 4 months, floor still looks brand new 👍 (after a good wet swiffer lol)
