Very good show! I like what Qureshi says about reincarnation making more sense than resurrection. The idea of living immortally as a creature with a body of flesh, skin, hair, fingernails, senses, etc. is so weird because those physical features pertain to mortality and earthly life rather than eternal life. With the concept of reincarnation there is naturally the concept of moksha. When there is moksha, there is no more need for a body.
Also, I appreciate Qureshi talking about different kinds of Islam and Muslims as well as the view that the Qur’an’s meaning can be inclusive with respect to Islam being a general principle.
What a beautiful conversation by Mukunda and Farhan. Erudite, open and finally a meeting of faiths merging into oneness and perennial philosophy. Thank you
