The problem is in your diagnosis.
1. Hinduism firstly is not a religion, but a category that includes many diverse practices which were not necessarily harmonious to one another. Eg. Sudelaimadan has no connection to Krishna.
2. The superior high culture or Brahminism, created a religious cultural practice of exclusion of others, thus precluding it's growth.
Without inclusion or brotherhood Hinduism tries to grow with contradictory tendencies. It is convenient to blame the Christian and Muslim without understanding your own society.
3. Christianity and Islam create a common identity that transcends caste, which is almost impossible in Hinduism.
@@ben-dr3wfmany immigrants are unaware of US laws. Federal laws prohibit discrimination based on a person’s national origin, race, color, religion, disability, sex and family status. Laws prohibiting national origin discrimination make it illegal to discriminate because of a person’s😅 birthplace, ancestry, culture or language. Why I am repeating the federal laws? I as a brahmin felt offended when someone passes disparaging remarks against me and my ancestry.
@@chander3338 There is no disparaging remarks in my comment. It is a fact that graded inequality was/is practiced in Indian society legitimised by Brahmin theology. Ambedkar's scholarship would suffice to demonstrate it. 🙏

With due respect to Dr. Andani, I want to correct his explanation about Hajj. Historically many Ismaili Imams and his family members performed Hajj including first Imam Ali. Begum Umm e Habibah wife of 48th Ismaili Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah Aga Khan 3rd performed Hajj 3 times. Every year many Nizari Ismailis from South Asia, Central Asia, USA, middle East perform Umrah and Hajj every year.
Very few Ismaili imams did Hajj. No Imam after the 5th imam has gone on Hajj. The Hajj to Mecca isn’t mandatory. What takes priority is the visitation of the Imam of the time.
She goes to hajj because she was a twelver shia..

If all Hadiths eventually come from the same source ie the prophet of Islam, how come we end up with so many differences ? Ex. Shias pray 3 times a day not 5 and don’t need to wash their feet in ablution but simply wipe the top of their socks. So which practice did the prophet follow and teach ?
Hadiths are not reliable they were not collected until three months hundred years later
he allowed many ways or the companians and family did their own independent thinking. they dont pray 3 times. they combine the second and third prayer together and the fourth and fifth prayer together to make it easier and the prophet prayed multiple ways

For something as important as prayer, one would have expected specific instructions and not left for individuals to interpret or even invent more convenient ways that suit them. There are no specific instructions about the ways the prophet prayed. If anything this shows us that the so-called last message to humanity is vague in many areas; often with dire results. Take the Khelafa for example, followers of different sects of Islam are still killing each other about something that was never settled because the prophet’s lack of clarity in that matter.

In Quran the word Namaz for prayer is not used. The word for ritual prayer is Salat. In Meccan time the Prophet performed Salat 2 times. In Medina 3 times which later on increased to 4 or 5 times. In my opinion 5 times Salat was not performed regularly in Prophet's life time but was established in the time of 2nd Caliph Umar along with 20 Nafils of Taraveeh in Ramadhan.
Saw Dr. Andani on Capturing Christianity and really like the way he nuances and communicates Islam. I'm kinda disappointed in his representation of the Qur'an, though. There are multiple Arabic Qur'ans (e.g. Hafs vs Warsh) that do have different words that can change the meaning (e.g. many a prophet fought vs many a prophet was killed). Definitely not just one Qur'an now and it doesn't seem to have ever been that way, according to both Islamic tradition and secular scholarship.
Anyway, great interview! I love learning more about Islam, especially the more rare forms. Would love to see an interview on the Syriac Christian influence on the Qur'an. I find some of these ideas fascinating.

Revisit what I said - there is about 3% differences in words among the ten Quranic readings. But it’s the same text.

Interesting that it’s believed that Mohammad received the Quran but it is his cousin Ali who becomes the first inspired imam and who becomes endowed with the ultimate knowledge of interpretation and wait for it he can then pass that divine inspiration to his sons mmmmm!? No wonder Shias have more adoration to Ali and just give lip service to Mohammad.

We Don't treat him like a Normal person, you cannot attain Spiritual enlightenment while simulating outer texture, we will have to understand the spirit of our Holy prophet, His mercy, His benevolence, His kindness, His centrality, His Divine Authority, His complete universality, to bring peace on our earth,

Nice redaction about the prophet but let’s be honest here for a minute. Shias worship Ali and his sons, Hassan and Hussain. They call their place of prayer Hussainya in honour of Hussain. Ali’s wife Fatema is the most elevated women that ever lived, even higher than the Virgin Mary …. Mohammad is that half cousin of Ali a messenger that received the Quran but had no wisdom to decipher its content. Taqeya is what Shias are very good at, they rarely say openly what they really believe internally.

Worship revere adore ... simply said Ali said that he was the Messiah, the Christ, the beginning and the end, the light,...etc. Ali took on the persona of Jesus that is worshipped by Christians. A real imposter ( if he really existed)

Islam claims that Mecca or more specifically the Kaaba is the most important site on earth, the house of Allah, yet Mohammad and his followers used the Jewish kebla Jerusalem for the direction of prayer for twelve years inside the so called revelation.
