I have flown into Sun n Fun many times since the late '80s, but I have never seen a video that showed so much simple joy at doing it. GREAT video! Thank you.
Brave to fly in on your own. Your right seat empty I would have joined you to be another swivel head. I missed sun n fun this year 😒 good job and love your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for giving me a birds-eye-view of what its like coming in, you literally flew over my house upon landing! I listen in from my radio but to see what you pilots have to go through to get to the Sun n Fun is awesome. Thanks!
I never knew that's how they handled the approaches into Sun n Fun. That was crazy! And nice piloting! I should have asked you if you were going. I could have been an extra pair of eyes for you. And guess what? I'm back in flight school! Had my first hour of Ground School at 0900 this morning. I'm with "Flying Academy" based out of KTMB. See you up there soon :)
Great video. SE of Lake Parker we almost collided with an amphibian flying opposite direction at same altitude. You must have 3 sets of eyes going here...
I don't know much about aviation but seemed like organized chaos, lol. It was really interesting to watch and also, how the heck are there not more mishaps from the crazy communication. I figure aviation would have much more clear-cut and less on reliance on visuals.
Bro... So much going on at once and your faces. How cool to actually enjoy it man. The challenge, on take it on and knowing is chaos. Maybe when I grow up definely pushing this on.
wowwww. its so intens! Very hard work is the arrival ndd the landing to the show! Can you upload more videos about the sun n fun? Thanks man for your job ,its great, Bye!
After the airshow the runway becomes the busiest in the world for the next hour. Everyone in GAP/ camping make a dash for it with one aircraft taking off every two seconds. No one can talk with air traffic so it's up to the ground team to direct the aircraft!
Great video! I was contemplating flying there this year and your video helped visualize what’s to come! Thanks for documenting and sharing your experience!
great video, friend lives mile for the airport and I don't think he ever has been to Sun 'N Fun. Also as a Vietnam Vet, that like helicopter clip and music had my hair standing!
@@FlyersDistrict got my license in a piper pa-28...I sure do miss getting up in the air early on cool summer mornings or late summer afternoons. Some of the best flying for sightseeing & enjoying the view.
FlyMeAirplane It’s sort of a short approach. Normally you square the base, a dogleg is more straight to the numbers turn. - I had to ask a bunch of people and google till I found the answer.
It's when you cut the base leg short and turn onto final sooner, obviously not square, but at an angle. I can't believe that you have never heard of that after all those years of flying. I got my first license 45 years ago and knew about it before I soloed.
@@FlyersDistrict So you made me put the current FAA AIM. There is one reference to "dogleg" but it is on an Airway turn. It is definitely incorrectly used by the controller in this video.

Wow! Although it looks really stressful here, from the ground it looked great!
It looks a lot more stressful than it really is. It's a ton of fun 😀
Outstanding instructional vid for Flying into Sun n Fun... well done and thank you ! I am flying there this year for the first time.
Thank you. Hope to see you there this year :)

Still not sure I want to fly in - that's insane! Sorry I missed you at the show - it was a blast!
Hey Ben - Is always good to have a co-pilot for this. Last year I went with a buddy.
Great video editing, and thanks for sharing the excitement . Flying is a rush, heart pounding w excellent views!
I subbed on the Huey and CCR edit alone. Nice work getting in there and down safely!
thanks :)
Stressful! Good job. I like the saying "that's me"....keep reminding you they are talking to you. Weird to not be able to talk back.
Love the Forest Gump clip. Nice job!
BTW
The fighter jet you saw looked like a L-39
Agreed, very cool

Krassimir Andreev yeah man, it gets crazy. That days was particularly danger with the low level clouds over the lake
nice job man that made me stress, your edits are clean as well!!
Sebastien Lyons thanks
Really well done video! Nice use of foreflight to show the traffic

what's funny is that "organized chaos" was my original tittle for this video lol. This type of flying is all visual. Thanks for watching kwa
Great video! Very entertaining and informative. I'll be flying in first time in a few days, so great to see an excellent example of how it's done.
Thank you. Hope to see you there :)

FDV_FPV the challenge is the part that I enjoy most. It looks worse than it really is.
J,ai vraiment aime vos trucs volants Merci beaucoup.....Fine business...Thanks again..!
Good job! Just a little busy getting in there!
I was suggested this video from Martin Pauly's Sun n Fun video. I'm glad I found another great aviation channel.
Rjh Rhjj welcome to Flyers District
That looked intense! Imagine running out of fuel in that madness
Great video! I missed it this year, but you made me feel like I was there...you even got a few friends of mine in your vid 👍👍
John Jacobi cool
That was mad mate!! Well done see you soon I'm coming to Orlando!

I liked the retro musical edit when the helicopter landed - it made me laugh. You're a funny guy. :-) Really enjoy your videos! Thanks!
:)
Awesome video dude, I’d say your finest work yet, love the edit
Thank you Edgar!
Loved this Vid and will have to make it over to Sun and Fun one year.
pommiedownunder1 it’s a lot of fun
You did a fantastic Job! Thanks for sharing. I landed there on the Sunday before and it was very easy to fly in ( normal procedure )
rfcrain thanks. And yes, it’s not hard at all. Just make sure to read the NOTAM and do as told.
Dude! You demonstrate amazing, steady, and smooth control imputs! No wing waggle! Well done!
thank you
Nice job!!! Great landing ! 🤘
I got nervous just watching this. Nicely done.
it was a bit intense :)
Wow Amazing video 👏🙌 great edit.

The take off is almost as much fun as the landing lol
You ain't kidding! Most dense collection of aircraft since WW2.
Excellent vid. I was really engaged with you on that approach.
awesome video brother. thanks so much for sharing.
Great job, wow that was intense
Thanks!

EDIT KING!
Is that ADS-B data Alex? BTW this is fantastic bro!!
Commo Mike yes that’s ADSB - I have in and out in that airplane
Awesome work mate - great job. Love this video. Thanks.
Oddbod thanks
Excellent.
Awsooooooome
Will you have a part II with some of the UA-camrs?
Not sure about part 2. Yet, currently editing another flight that will be posted in the next few days.
Wow🤠❗❕❗
🤙🏻what an experience❕
Amazing! I went by car :-( Thanx for sharing! I'm not sure if I am brave enoug to go by plane yet!
I volunteer at sun n fun, and my lord it is so much fun.
Knuckle biter flight. Now do that on a carrier deck.. LOL
docdurdin omg I cannot even imagine
Lap sash belt only? Good radio technique
OldFliersGroup yes it’s a 1969
New Sub here... Great job flying and editing.
Thanks :)
Interesting video. Is your airplane not fitted with seatbelts?
It's a 1969. It has seatbelts on the bottom, but not a shoulder harness.
Dig the yoke handles. Do you know where they came from?
Parrish Cope I got it like that, I don’t know who makes them.
That was intense... All the way out here in California.
I am just as concentrated when I drive in a city. I live quite rural.
Driving is too dangerous and makes me more nervous than flying. When I fly, I relax :)
Nice video, will you be going to Oshkosh this year?
I hope so
Good video. I cringe however when I see a video where the aircraft is not equipped with shoulder harnesses.
It's from 1969, they didn't have shoulder harness back then. I'm looking into it though :)
Great video! More.....!
FunPlacesToFly.com more in a couple of day. 😊
@@FlyersDistrict Posted the video on our website.
Very nice job. Would fly with you any time.
This video is amazing, watched all of it. Always wanted to fly a plane and this video is super inspiring. Also 0:01 " look at that ass *pah* jaja
Go for it Ricky - Call your local airport and take your first lesson. You won't regret it. :)
Flyers District you know any good places in Lakeland / Tampa? I see you’re from Southern Florida!

That was hairy...Maybe next year...;)
Nice spot landing!
M Hilderbrand I try 😊
Where did you takeoff from?
I believe you have the cake tower labeled wrong in your video.
It looks like you skipped the power plant
I flew over it, but it was covered by the low clouds
what app is that on your phone?
Foreflite
i've been flying 35 years... what is a dog leg? cool video!

I WOULD NOT HAVE ADDED FLAPS UNTIL OVER THE RUNWAY USING THE SPEED TO KEEP SPACE GOOD
first
:)
Check Flightaware.com and follow N206RG (twin) arrival...jeez, that guy circled for days... Great video btw
I know! that poor guy was stock there
Shit, those com's stressed me out
The other traffic makes it almost not worth it
that's what makes it worth it for me
Looks amazing man. Wish I could have found a plane to borrow to come this year!
Awesome video, and great landing!
