You are a godsend for someone trying to learn how to make all her tablet gizmos work together. I'm finding my Wacom BT keyboard also works for this (which is a relief, especially since the keyboard you linked is no longer available); it just takes a few different keys since it's not Apple-specific. But finding out the basic commands here was a lot faster than trying to hit random buttons and see whether they work. You're definitely getting a subscribe from me. Thank you!
I just got an iPad Pro and Pencil. My first step was to buy Procreate which is simply amazing fun. Thanks for the tip on using the Bluetooth keyboard. I've had one collecting dust and it now has a new purpose. Love your videos.
I like sitting on my couch while using the iPad Pro held in my arms. Tried using the keyboard for shortcuts the other day, while sitting like that and it obviously didn't really work. (Keyboard on lap) I think this is only really useful if you're set up like you are in your video, with everything in front of you on a drawing table.
Ohhh thank god. Ive started painting and getting better at it. I never did before the ipad pro because i was a photo editor. The apple pencil really gained me some ground. And of course as i get comfortable i now want my shortcuts../ Bought a keyboard. LoL Thanks alot!
I believe you can with the [ ] keys. While in Procreate, hold down the Command key on your external keyboard and you should be able to see a list of all the available commands.
Just wanted to ask before buying ipad pro 2018. Can you make a hotkey on the f1 to f12 key like in photoshop for example f1 = flip horizontal f2 = gaussian blur f3 = new layer etc?
Might be a super late reply, however you can do that so much easier without the hotkeys. There’s a control in the gestures section that allows you to, for example, hold your finger on the screen and it will bring up a quick actions menu, then you can add those actions once you click on the wee boxes. I added flip both ways and my most frequently used brushes.

Can you edit the shortcuts?
Can you increase and decrease brush size ? I hate dragging that thing up and down.. it’s inaccurate and slow
