Your an awesome pilot plain and simple. You know your stuff from identifying the different components to preflight check to orientation. Hats off to you.
Why the manufacturer Walkera recommends a curve -16%, + 20%, + 55% for normal flight ?? and -55%, 0%, + 55% for flight idle up ?? In the heli, Master CP also Walkera, but size 250, the blades are calibrated by the same procedure?
hello my friend, I have the V450D03 and now when I go to throw it away when I give throtle flipped the tail and the air not only on the ground when I give throtle flipped the tail of you will now be to blame, you will now help me ???
Hey Mark!! Nice Flying!! I just bought a V450D03 myself and wanted to ask a random question. After powering on the transmitter, and powering on the helicopter, is it normal to hear some "noise" coming from the servo? It gets very loud when I physically touch or pick up the helicopter, but is almost non existent when I am not touching it. This is a brand new helicopter, and has no flights on it. Any thoughts? Thanks, Matt
Mark, hope you can help me, I purchased a bnf v450d03, as I already had a devo 7e , after setup I tried to lift off, the model tended to left side drift, when I used a little ale to correct, it just jump about 8 to 10 inches off the ground, I tried several more times to same results. rechecked setup on radio and all looks good, could it be the 7E is really not compatible with this model, sinc it doesn't have the 3 way switch like the Devo7 and 10 have?
Hi James, Devo 7E it is 100% compatible and it should work .. I totally understood your point - it happened to me before - try not to touch the control sticks while it is binding; wait until the Cyclic servo's will kick/pump .. if no of avail - try to reset your Devo 7e and apply the settings hereunder. Thank you Mark i will have a go at your settings. My devos throttle is at -12 when the throttle is down and the Aux2 is at full +100. Not sure if this is ok. It has been named v4502 from banggood. What switch is the idel up?
nice video mark i also changed my esc to a hobbywing platinum pro 40A i changed my cyclic servos to kds n290 i do not trust the stock cyclic servos they will smoke very easy what model align tail servo did you use thank you
Hi Robert, thank you for the comment.. for the tail servo I used the Align HSD52501 - DS525M Digital Servo (Rudder Servo) - www.myrcmart.com/hsd52501-ds525m-digital-servo-rudder-servo-p-5679.html .. but you have to install the opposite side .. enjoy and happy flying!
I did not wait for my electronics to deteriorate as I decided to have precautionary measures - see the below upgrades that I've done to my bird. 1.) Align HT1003A - Drive Belt/XL 2.) HSD52501 - DS525M Digital Servo (Rudder Servo) >> installed opposite side .. this is a must upgrade 3.) HobbyWing SkyWalker 40A (Switching BEC) Brushless ESC 4.) Typhoon Motor - Turnigy Typhoon 450H 2215H Heli Motor 3550kv (450 class) 5.) HK450 size Pinion Gear 3.17mm/13T (Align part # H45059) 6.) HS1229 - One-Way Bearing 7.) HobbyWing ESC Program Card (RCX / FlyFun / SkyWalker / Fentium / Pentium) The above upgrades works like a charm and doesn't cost much.
bai my 2nd walkera has issues I bought this from a friend who crashed it. I then replaced everthing that was damage the parts totally new but then it does not hover and it tries to bank on the left do you have any input on this it would be great if you could tell me thanks bai
Swash-plate would be the culprit .. kay katong first nako na V450D03 na crash pud dayon na sakpan ra nako ang cyclic servo swash dili level .. dali ra kaayo na i level .. 100% na siya ma ok ra
Hi can you tell me what brand and what is the biggest battery you know of that will fit. like a 4000 mah if possible for long flight time like 15 minutes or more . This would great then the normal 2200 mah battery it comes with what do you recommend much appreciated Jim Amos

I noticed you turned the radio on after you plugged the batteries in, thats a big no no, unless you were attempting to bind the radio to the reciever.

HobbyKing's Zippy Compact 3s 2450mah 35c .. That's the biggest battery that I've tried so far! Airtime 08-12 minutes depends on your flying style..
