1st song of the QOTMS album released in 2017. The Spanish lines are spoken by their manager Rudi and are written by Pau the drummer, English translation: “Brother the salvation It is something that is earned Release your hand of resentment and wake up to a new light Inside you although your brothers Try to plunge you into the darkness” This album is a masterpiece both when it comes to lyrics and music. The story it tells is well worth listening to and Dany personifies the Queen excellent, so real so Pau and Ale where a little worried. The rock opera is played live only two times from beginning to end, this is the best of those two times.
This is the opening track off their second album, a concept album, queen of the murder scene. It’s is actually the funeral and reincarnation of the queen, the guy is their manager, Rudy playing the part of the preacher at the funeral of the queen.
The guy singing the sermon part is their main manager Rudy .Try their new improved version at the Pepsi centre , which has an extended ending and leads straight in to another song called " Dull knives " . Cheers fella .
I love this concert (Lunario). It's one of the earliest really good recordings of them playing a show live. They basically play the entirety of their then new concept album Queen Of The Murder Scene. This is basically the narrator introducing the story. I love how raw this is while still being extremely good.
Oh man. I love that period of the band. Ale rocking all over the stage. With her mic set around eye level so she looks like a mini Lemmy when she sings. Dany really coming into her own as a front woman. Really embracing the roll of entertainer as well as performer. And Pau just being Pau and doing amazing things.
The Villarreal sisters began learning songs together as a band in 2012 after Alejandra began taking bass lessons at age 7. The named themselves The Warning in 2013. By the end of 2014 they were writing songs. An EP of original songs (Escape the Mind) was released on iTunes in April 2015, their first full album (XXI Century Blood) came in March 2017. This concert is from late November in 2018, and it is their first full performance of their second album (Queen of the Murder Scene) released on that day. This was all produced independently, supported by crowdfunding. They had rejected contract offers which did not give them complete creative control and would not sign with a label until 2020, after seven months of negotiations before they were satisfied. As young as they were at that time they had been playing together for six years and released an EP and two full albums without industry support.
To be fair they played the piano together, there's footage of Dany and Pau sitting on the stool while both are playing different parts, together. It's cute as shit and quite impressive
It's amazing that an 18, 16, and 12 year old wrote a masterpiece concept album for their second full album. There are bands that have been around for 30 years that have never done that. Lunario CDMX 2018 they perform the whole Queen of the Murder Scene album with songs from XXI Century Blood between each chapter of the story. Dust to Dust is the prologue and is the funeral for the Queen. The final song of the album, The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade) loops back into Dust to Dust.
The first song in their ‘rock opera’ Queen of the Murder Scene, a grim tale of a woman’s (the Queen) obsession that leads to madness and murder. Written when they were barely in their teens. Youngest sister bassist Ale gets major credit in the creation of this song. With Enter Sandman, she was just tapping her toes, here she feels the music, dancing like a wild child trying to tame a wild horse (her guitar). The drummer Pau starts the album like a storyteller with Dust to Dust. Eldest sister Dany plays the role of the Queen throughout the concert where they performed the whole album in proper order. Dany stayed in character and you see her descent, losing her battle for her soul and sanity with each song! Note her battle scars of claw marks across her throat and hand. Kids who came up with an epic song that just gets more epic with each performance. Check out how it is now at the Pepsi Center and be blown away again.
If you wanted to check out their video dust to dust/dull knives from the Pepsi center (2023) you can see the evolution of their performing and stage presence. I agree though, this concert at lunario was pretty special.
This is my favorite version of D2D including their bigger productions. It shows their musicianship, stage presence and energy even at such a young age. It also shows "the preacher" (Rudy their manager) which is an integral part of the entire concept of the album QOTMS. Subbed for more TW.
They did a cover of the Metallica song Atlas Rise at the Whiskey a Go Go that you should watch. They had just finished a set of 20+ songs and were exhausted. You wouldn’t know it from watching the video because they just f-ing nailed it.
Thank you my friend for doing The Warning. I have watched several of your videos from Hank Williams Jr to Eminem and I am a huge fan of The Warning and Tool and a reactor to myself so thank you
Watch/React to their song "Survive" live at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City (last year) - you will see a three-piece rock band on absolute fire. Actually any live performance from that Pepsi Center show is awesome.
The videos from the Pepsi center are the newer ones from concert last year. This is from several years ago and they have improved 100 fold. Pau was voted Rock Drummer of the year in 2023 and is well deserved
Did I hear that right? 5200 reactions in a week? Pretty ambitious. I hope you make it. Not much to add to what others have said. The 2023 Pepsi Center version that runs into "Dull Knives (Cut Better)", also from "Queen of the Murder Scene" is quite spectacular and worth a viewing. So far my subscription is holding.
The Pepsi Center 2023 version of Dust To Dust, which flows seamlessly into Dull Knives (cut better) is even more epic. Both songs are from their concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene, that they wrote as teens! The Lunario performance was when they first performed the songs on QotMS, if I recall correctly, and it's a great show, especially considering their ages.
Fan of you Cliff, but even more a fan of The Warning. So glad I got to see them in a small venue this last tour. I can't imagine they will be playing these shows where we get to be 20 feet from Pau for many more shows. It's funny, as a fan, I was just stunned to see the stage presence and the confidence and showmanship of these ladies, at such a young age, then we go back and look at this show, where Ale is killing that bass at age 13. It's crazy. They have the opportunity to simply rule the space for decades to come. Selfishly, I hope it happens.
The Lunario is the baby venue to the 9,000+ seat Auditorio Nacional which they have three upcoming concerts at. They have come a really long way in the last six or so years.
Paulina .. FAN VOTED 2023 BEST ROCK DRUMMER OF THE YEAR AT THE DRUMEO AWARDS.. try DUST TO DUST/DULL KNIVES (cut better) LIVE AT THE PEPSI CENTER CDMX ✌️
you need to move up to the later concert series. The refinement, the singing, the arrangements, and they grow so much as stage performers and beautiful women and people. move forward in time in your picks. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. PEPSI CENTER CDMX 2023 OMG. other reactors literally are doing the entire concert as a series. welcome to the return of real rock.
This bass line gets me every time. No matter how many times I have heard it (and that's many!) Bassist Alejandra was not even a teenager when she wrote it.
Hey, come on in walk this way Look what I have prepared to show you Let me show you How things can quickly unfold In the end everything just turns back Turns back into Dust to dust our bones will rust And we shall start again Dust to dust our bones will rust And we shall start again Hey! Where are you going? Don't trust all that you hear Now, take it in and behold I don't seek right or wrong I seek the truth found in death Goes hand in hand with remorse Is it something that is worth losing? Worth pursuing? Dust to dust our bones will rust And we shall start again Dust to dust our bones will rust And we shall start again Hey! Where are you going? Don't trust all that you hear Aren't you sick of running? It's better to stay here Hermano! la salvación es algo que se gana! Suelta tu mano del rencor y Despierta a una nueva luz adentro de ti Aunque tus hermanos intenten Sumirte en la obscuridad Dust to dust our bones will rust And we shall start again Dust to dust our bones will rust And we shall start again Dust to dust our bones will rust And we shall start again Dust to dust our bones will rust And we shall start again Hey! Where are you going? Don't trust all that you hear There's no use in running It's better to stay here
I get it now Cliff. These are classic episodes! Great idea! Also great realizing anything with The Warning is an instant classic. ⚡⚡⚡ Yee-Hah 💎🔥🎯 You know I Love you brother! ✌️❤️🎼🎶
This was, like almost the first time they played this song on stage. If you want to see how things changed in five years, check out the live performance from the Pepsi Center of this song. Every time you think they can't get any better ... boom.
Cliff has done many Warning reactions. His main Channel is Cliff Beats (347K subs) This is a re-upload he did 3 years ago. This is a new channel, think he stopped reacting to The Warning almost a year ago and is now bringing back his reactions to this new channel.
The Man is their manager Rudy, who portrays the priest at a funeral. This song is the prologue to the Queen of the Murder Scene, which is a concept album telling a single story in 13 songs.
♥ these chikas! All 3 are very talented! They were still kinda young here! ♥ their outfits! I suggest these The Warning songs: Money, Automatic Sun (official video), Evolve (live VMAs) & Enter Sandman (with Alessia Cara) I also suggest another all female rock band from Japan - Band Maid. I suggest these Band Maid songs: Thrill, Dice, Manners (live) & Puzzle (live) Both bands are friends & fans of each other. They recently released a song collab called Show Them
Hey man if you haven't already you should check out Rage Against the Machine, they came along when i was still in the military. A good one to start with is Know your Enemy
if you choose to move up in time. and hear pau play BREATHE solo on the piano. you will realize the INSANE depth of these girls ( PS i know your a man, but bring your tissues for that song)
I know a lot of people want to go straight to their new stuff and recent perrformances and I agree they have really grown and gotten better bur I would not want to trade the journey of the last few years of watching them early and being amazed at how good they were back then, it is something I would not want to give up. As a lyracist you will appreciate their lyrics, they always have something to say and their mastery of English as a second language shows an immersion in literature. Just for fun you should go back and watch the music video for XXI Century blood from their first album,, the video is amazing , the music is great and the lyrics show that from the beginning they have been thinking about the consequences modern technology is having on their generation, a theme that carries on in their music to this day. Thinking back on them being 12, 15 and 17 when the video was made always astounds me.
Pau is amazing, playing the drums and singing is hard enough, stoping, standing to sing with the crowd and dropping right back into the song, impressive. These songs are arranged to perform live.
Saw that you reacted to Enter Sandman from The Warning when they were children. Would reccomend the version they did with Alessia Cara for Metallicas Blacklist album. Completely new arraingement with incredible melodies. The official music video is top tier musicianship. ❤
IMO, for better sound and visuals checkout 2022 The Teatro Metro concert over 20 songs mostly originals or 2023 The Pepsi Center concert (10th anniversary of the band) also over 20 original songs. Both concerts featured their reimagined Enter Sandman which is on the Blacklist album commemorating Metallica's 30th anniversary of their Black album. The reimagined Enter Sandman in both concerts features Alessia Cara backing vocals of "Whoa...Whoa..." ; in the OMV Alessia Cara sings the Intro with Dany, verse 1, pre chorus and chorus with Dany...this is the version on the Blacklist album 1st track followed by 5 other Enter Sandman from other bands on the 1st album of a 4 album set.
If you like live versions then I recommend watching their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX video. It's a full concert and it has excellent production, You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/7hbBa1-1p7M/v-deo.html
They are influenced by classic rock because it’s what their parents listen to, so when they started playing as little kids it’s what they covered. It doesn’t mean they’re music is classic rock, as an old musician I assure you, regardless of all the egotistical so called self-taught people out there, humans are influenced by everything they hear. The Warning are three sisters from Mexico, the bassists Ale, pronounced Al-lay, wrote the bass line and came up with the general idea for it when she was 12 years old.
1st song of the QOTMS album released in 2017. The Spanish lines are spoken by their manager Rudi and are written by Pau the drummer, English translation:
“Brother the salvation
It is something that is earned
Release your hand of resentment and wake up to a new light
Inside you although your brothers
Try to plunge you into the darkness”
This album is a masterpiece both when it comes to lyrics and music. The story it tells is well worth listening to and Dany personifies the Queen excellent, so real so Pau and Ale where a little worried. The rock opera is played live only two times from beginning to end, this is the best of those two times.
On this video, they are 18 (Dany, on guitar), 16 (Pau, drums), and 13 (Ale, Bass)
Ale the bassist concieved the song and wrote the bass line when she was about 12 . .
Happy new year . .
Bye from NZ👍👋🇳🇿🍻twa
Yup. 12 years old, the same age she was when they opened for Def Leppard!
That's their manager, Rudy.
And likely the only time we will see him because apparently his timing was so terrible, the girls had to “fire” him. 😅😂
That Lunario concert is a masterpiece!!!
These are all reuploads , he been doing warning for years on his old channel
QOTMS es en definitiva, una obra maestra que debe estar en los anales de la historia del rock.
This is the opening track off their second album, a concept album, queen of the murder scene. It’s is actually the funeral and reincarnation of the queen, the guy is their manager, Rudy playing the part of the preacher at the funeral of the queen.

This is basically the narrator introducing the story. I love how raw this is while still being extremely good.
Best band I know of... No other has my attention at all. 🌏✌️
What a great prologue to an even more epic rock opera.
Wow look how young they are and kicking ass as usual.❤️😎🇺🇸
Disciple is another great song with Dani and Pau trading lead and Pau sings through a killer fill. I’ve never seen a drummer do that.
This band will never stop amazing you. They are pure talent and passion.

same... luv Pau

They could not have been those ages at the same time.
You are only scratching the surface 😜
Watch the Dust 2 Dust version from the Pepsi Center
A great The Warning song for a workout list is 6 Feet Deep!
I would look at anything from the Pepsi center extravaganza. It was the bands 10th anniversary, blowout with 8000 friends.
These are all reuploads , he had another channel with warning reactions for years ,
The drummer playing her mind out while singing like that is mind blowing

It would have been better to see the Pepsi center video. Bind to the song Dull knives as if it were a single song and it hadn't been so short. 😊
So I found the warning about 4 months ago and have been listening to the 4 albums on loop over and over lol. Not to mention watching them on UA-cam.
Hahaha the rabbit hole is deep, I fell down it about five years ago, welcome to TWA

Queen of the Murder Scene is my favorite album from them, so this particular concert is very special to me. Love this band!

Hey, come on in walk this way

Goes hand in hand with remorse

Dust to dust our bones will rust
And we shall start again
Hey! Where are you going?
Don't trust all that you hear

Suelta tu mano del rencor y

Sumirte en la obscuridad

Happy New Years
A fase mais punk e grunge da banda. 😎❤️🙂
This is the one they got me with almost 6 yo, a day hasn't gone by that I don't listen to them🤘
They are so talented, not my preferred genre, but I appreciate talent 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👵🏼 Gmaw
great!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Cliff, for reacting to The Warning.
Pau trains for this by singing while running on a treadmill
Thank you Mijo for bringing AOD SO MUCH AMAZING ENTERTAINMENT 👏👏👏👵🏼 Gmaw
Such a great band with a lot of great live videos. Check out anything from August 2022 Teatro Metropolitan or more recently Live at the Pepsi center.
Such a great song and performance! You should check out Dust to Dust/ Dull Knives live at the Pepsi Center CDMX in 2023. 🤘🔥
I suggest these The Warning songs: Money, Automatic Sun (official video), Evolve (live VMAs) & Enter Sandman (with Alessia Cara)
I also suggest another all female rock band from Japan - Band Maid. I suggest these Band Maid songs: Thrill, Dice, Manners (live) & Puzzle (live)
Both bands are friends & fans of each other. They recently released a song collab called Show Them
Hey man if you haven't already you should check out Rage Against the Machine, they came along when i was still in the military. A good one to start with is Know your Enemy
have you heard new Enter Sandman at Pepsi Center...Pau and Dani are the leads in this band....
The guy is Rudy their manager . . 👍👋🇳🇿🍻
if you choose to move up in time. and hear pau play BREATHE solo on the piano. you will realize the INSANE depth of these girls ( PS i know your a man, but bring your tissues for that song)
You gotta check out Disciple! I'd recommend checking out both the official video because it's a badass video and any official live version!
I know a lot of people want to go straight to their new stuff and recent perrformances and I agree they have really grown and gotten better bur I would not want to trade the journey of the last few years of watching them early and being amazed at how good they were back then, it is something I would not want to give up. Automatic sun from 2024 EMA's... they rocked it.. TWA
¿Mostly original? Enter Sandman is not really a cover in those concerts, it is their reinvention of the song 😜
Great reaction
They have acted like stars since I first saw them on the viral enter sandman vid.
You need to do choke live from the Pepsi center then you get a little taste of Ali the bassist singing too
Dude check out anything from the Pepsi Center concert. You will not be sorry.
This performance is one of my favorites. At the Whisky a GO GO Ale plays "Dust to Dust" with a special intro
ua-cam.com/video/5Yn2uK1a7Zg/v-deo.html
You should do "Amour," I think it's their best song.
If you like live versions then I recommend watching their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX video. It's a full concert and it has excellent production, You can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/7hbBa1-1p7M/v-deo.html
You could do an entire video of mis-heard lyrics! 😂
Hace poco vi un video de Ale ( que supongo que es viejo ) diciendo que no le gustaba ni su look ni su peinado en este concierto XD
Maybe do the Pepsi Center version of Hell You Call a Dream?
If it's too short play it again.
Is this a re-upload because it seems you reacted to The Warning before?
If you want to know the bands history, check out this documentary ua-cam.com/video/s7iQG0ug4HI/v-deo.html amazing story,
Is this someone’s sister?
“Unfold”…. but anyways….
Who the hell are these girls? This is classic? Classic what? Not classic rock. Who the hell suggested this? Where are they from? When??
