angielou123 I was going to say something similar. He seems oddly calm and collected. Much different to listening to Charles Manson , but maybe that's because Manson never technically killed anyone.
I know one such dude..he keeps up late at night almost everyday..and has made a special laboratory in his house just around the corner in our neighbourhood.Laboratory.. Funny thing for a janitor to have No?
Whatever you may think about him, I find it fascinating to look into the mind of a serial killer. He at least was willing to explain his perverse thoughts. Ted Bundy talked just to hear his own voice.
Oh maybe it has to do with the fact that they're a damn serial killer ?! Weirdo. Passionate or not. It's fucking creepy regardless.. especially this guy. With all that he has done and to speak about in a cool, calm and collective manner is messed. This guy is sick as fuck 😣 evil
Belieber Foreverxoxo Well, that still does not explain why the comments and also this news article perpetually underline the fact that he talks about his crimes without passion. If serial killers shock no matter their stance and approach why is it worth mentioning that they are passionate or indifferent about it then?
I think the part that disturbs people is that they see some humanity in the killer and it ruins their idea of what he is supposed to be. It's easier to think murderers are the kind of "villains" in Hollywood films with no feelings and sinister intentions up their sleeves (very 2-dimensional), than someone who's sensitive, intelligent, and competent -but who became distorted somewhere along the way .... leading to depraved, harmful behavior. --- Not to condone or condemn what Dahmer or anyone similar to him has done, we obviously can't look passed that, but society still has a primitive sense of what they call "evil people" (a superstitious and empty term invented by religion, which doesn't actually exist in nature). There's still this very outdated idea that humans/behaviors exist in isolation, ignoring the interconnected reality of life ..... The point is, pressures on the brain seem to be what cause people to act out in violent ways. And these originate from somewhere. It can be due to stress, or physical and/mental trauma, or brain injuries. What has been long been shown is that the most violent men in society generally have some of the worst upbringings imaginable, leading to this damaged state of being. There is a physiological reason for what they do. Furthermore, primary feelings like loss, shame, abandonment can drive their abnormal thoughts and trigger episodes of harmful behavior. So, until we recognize what is going on underneath the primary picture, and stop relying on this highly crude duality of "good or bad" viewpoint, there is absolutely no way to solve the issue -- which is the biggest tragedy, since the public only reacts AFTER the worst part of a chain of events has unfolded ..... in order to feel some shallow sense of "justice" (revenge) and accomplishment by "punishing" them for what they've done. Their limited frame of mind never takes into account that the attacker himself (and many people connected to him him) could very well have been a victim at some point too. Meaning, that if we found a way to intervene and treat his conditions or at least humanely isolate him from others in society (hoping to understand the matter better), it could have saved a lot of lost lives and torment. --Or, far better, find a way to prevent or decrease the environmental conditions which formed such negative patterns. *Anyone who feels good about simply pointing fingers at "the monster" really needs to consider what it is they're accomplishing.* It's quite literally allowing for MORE murders, assaults and violence to happen in the world, not less. The victims involved will only have died in vain.
Lebanese They aided MURDER in the name of honoring homosexuality at a time when you ran the risk of supreme bigotry. The FACT is that homosexuality is tied to every form of revulsion.
That sounds about right. My son got the death penalty for a crime that his common law wife committed and she got life without parole. There was no evidence that he was even there and that is even mentioned in the records. No fingerprints or DNA, it was all hers . My son was executed in 2003, only four years after the crime was committed. He wrote a letter to the attorney general and requested his date to be set and it was said that it was nothing more than an assisted suicide. I am still waiting to wake up from my nightmare. And you wouldn't believe how people have treated me since all of this .
I think they were racist cops who found it convenient for this Asian boy to suffer He states that the cops told him before leaving him to "take good care of him"
Sadie Oagile sadly I cannot remember the source but I remember a video documentary which claimed the chances of meeting a serial killer is less than being struck by lightning twice.
Nola Chick I'd say Kemper does too but it's almost different how Dahmer's being open.... Like Kemper is more manipulative and you seriously feel for him but dahmers really just plain honest like he just is and it's amazing
Nola Chick yeah he's considered as a person and amazing because he told the truth he is an animal do you see documentaries about family sufferings their lost Ones simply you idolize people like Jeffrey Dahmer I'm not speaking about you personally but this gives people a reason to kill be a psychopath and tell their story so the world can hear you don't see evil in that they're giving this animal a interview yeah we are studying his personality so we can prevent it lies lies Liars f****** Liars
Oh it was even worse, read the wiki article on it. He was bleeding from his butt from being raped there, he was the one who had hot water injected into his brain, Dahmer tried to take him back to his apartment by his hand and the child resisted, the women said to the officers: look, he doesn't even want to go back with him, officers told them to shut up and took the kid back with him. It was also heard over the radio that they were laughing and one said "My partner is going to get deloused at the station", which I'm guessing may be a racial slur but I'm not entirely sure. They legitimately just did not care. The second pair who saved the last man Dahmer tried to murder, were far more serious.
@@aphyngodiva2551 hi Sara deloused would be that they were grossed out by the shape of the apartment and possibly by the people they were dealing with so no it wasn't a racial slur 😉👌
Ffs how stupid are the police they see the boy bleeding in the street and just hand him to Jeffery on a plate ffs that still pisses me of till this day 😡🤬
Oh well if you can do so much better than the police you should become a police officer yourself. Police are only human and they make mistakes too. But your ego makes you quick to judge and gives you a sense of superiority. You have no life experience, a typical outspoken Millennial talking useless smack
@@texuztweety what point are you trying to make? The police are responsible and gang members are responsible. Everyones responsible for there actions. You lack logic.
This is morbidly fascinating. I want to click away but I just can't. Instead I want to know what made him tick. Absolutely chilling. Disturbingly intriguing.
27:17 If anyone is interested, Theresa Smith actually ended up forgiving Jeffrey Dahmer some time after this interview. She made a visit to him in prison to get some closure and felt that Jeffrey was truly remorseful of his actions. He apologized to her and told her what her brother's final words were. She was relieved that Jeffrey sedated her brother before murdering him. She also became friends with his dad and step-mother and said that she couldn’t really blame them for not noticing their son's crimes.
@@Lucia16 I'm trying to remember where I read she wanted to sell Jeffrey Dahmer merch with his parents or something. I think it was a newspaper article that I read online.
Svinja hes just sitting there, bruh lmao. what is he expected to actively attempting to kill anyone even in an interview with cops pointing guns at him? you're stupid.
Svinja Nola Chick I have a type written letter from Jeffrey Dahmer to my preacher. They had corresponded, prompted by JD, I believe. I know he was baptized by a Church of Christ preacher. My preacher sent him pamphlets and JD discussed them with my preacher. I truly believe he was forgiven of his sins. He honestly confesses he still has the urges to return to his old life. That is what Christianity is, after true repentance you are forgiven of all your sins. The Bible says that no sin is worse than another. Sin is sin. The peace of forgiveness promises further forgiveness. In other words, when he has those urges he prays with a true heart to God to forgive him and it is done. The devil works hard on you after you have given yourself to God. I appreciate his honesty (being truly saved demands this). This is why he is so open about everything. I don’t know where the letter is right now but when I come across it, I will look you up and send it to you if you like. My preacher has passed approximately 2 years ago and he spoke of this occasionally. Have a blessed day.
And that’s what’s bullshit about religion. You believe you can do anything and be forgiven so why even follow a religion if you can just do whatever the fuck you want and just say “oh I’m sorry god please forgive me” and it’s done. Horse radish
Hunter Deaton Wow! You don’t even have a clue what religion is. He did those things before he “found religion.” So, it’s not a free pass. God know we aren’t perfects an knows we will sin. But, if you sin knowingly that’s a different story. Bottom line, God is the judge so...
vickie campbell shows how much you know about Dahmer..watch the interviews with his father he told his dad basically that nothing such as a god can control him and he can do as he pleases. If there even is a heaven or hell this man is burning.
16:45 Hehehe, imagine a burglar breaking into his house and stumbling across multiple dead bodies. I'd pay to see the look on that unfortunate fella's face.
I was the person who uploaded this video. I bought a dvd online that was rare can't remember where from. But the footage had an extra 3 hours. There was also a court video that isn't on youtube anywhere. I didn't expect this to get so many views. I uploaded it for a friend to see some unseen footage from the dvd. I'm very much into the psychology of dahmer, He had BPD and some paraphernalia. I also suffer from BPD though note. BPD does not cause this but i can understand why. the feeling of being constantly alone and parent's abandoning you i have gone through similar and mainly sit alone everyday with no human contact. That feeling can make you really upset and just makes you want someone with you at any cost of being alone. Hence why he kept people with him some extreme type of BPD loneliness alcohol and paraphernalia. Very upsetting story. i feel sorry for him though i hate what he did. Also his first murder only happened because he was going to leave. BPD symptom -> fear of abandonment. Myself i get angry and upset when people leave he must have had really bad BPD. plus the fact he had a paraphernalia of dead bodys you can see why he did what he did. Iv'e read a hell of a lot of books on dahmer infact all of them. He was really mentally ill and alone plus the mixture of alcohol was always involved. This is my conclusion of why he did what he did. interest in dead animals, At a young age. And the anatomy of animals. family arguments. Never really a part of the family or just straight ignored because of the arguments his family had. Developed BPD after being used in school as a mascot, Mixed with loneliness of family involvement and never had any real friends. Began to drink because of this (NOTE: people with bpd struggling with emotions abuse alcohol and drugs). At this point he began thinking of someone he could have and didn't have to fight for them to be with them. So he probably thought back to the dead animals that didn't move. Began fantasising about humans. I believe this happened due to the extreme loneliness this guy had. He had noone and just wanted someone to stay. This intern lead to paraphernalia. Because the people he wanted were those that didn't move. Those who couldn't possibly leave him. Now fast forward to the first murder before that. So he met him and they got drunk. The guy wanted to leave but dahmer really liked him. All above mentioned you can see why he didn't want him to leave so that is why i truly believe he did what he did. (Sorry for long message but thank you guys for watching leave a comment on your thoughts on why below)
Wow...so I'm guessing you're the next one we're going to be watching a video on? Don't do it man...this world doesn't need another Jeffy boy! This dude was a disgusting POS i don't care wtf his EXCUSES or psychological disorders were!!
I feel like he is different from others serial killers, like, he is simply telling the truth here, he doesn't try to get the interviewer to ''like'' him or tries to be charismatic - like Bundy did with everyone else - He is neither violent or agressive while having a conversation I guess he knows and understands what he did was wrong, but he can't care, while other serial killers don't care
rampa he may appear different but they all have the same underlying traits and features. None of them can care, but some of them are cockier and such just like the rest of us
@@lucyamy7966 he's dead so of course not, but in that moment YES. He was able to keep his parents in his life after everything he did and they viewed his "curiosities" as something he had zero control over. Even the interviewer kept giving him a pass, saying he didn't even understand a lot of what he did.
@@nonalolagirl very true but I think this is normal for him and he didn’t want pity I mean he even wanted the death sentence and wanted help not tryna to justify his action but he def was sick and couldn’t stop it he was calm because he lacks no empathy
@@lucyamy7966 of course he wanted the death sentence 🙄 that doesn't show he's remorseful!! He literally said he would still be killing if he were free so they need to keep him locked up. He wanted to die because he was caught and he could no longer hide who he was. He wanted to die because he could no longer KILL--which he seemed to think was his life purpose. Death is the easy way out for these types of cowards who can harm others but can't handle it when they have to face the consequences of their actions. If he truly was remorseful, he would have taken himself out before or after his first murder. Of course he had empathy. How else do you think he was capable of luring so many men? He understood these men. You are literally living proof of someone who is sympathizing and making excuses for a man, no a MONSTER, who was able to go a decade murdering without being caught. He had so much time to change, get help, to turn himself in. But he was calculated and a monster, so he didn't.
I remember when Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested. I remember watching on tv as they removed different items from his home. I remember the trial, and everything. And to think that someone like him could be living next door to you. Or working along side of you. Just sends chills all up and down my spine.
This is an extremely helpful interview to watch. This man is genuinely wanting to educate people on what evil looks like and what happens and how it happens. It's important to know. I am genuinely glad to have watched this. I never have understood evil, I have never understood the desire for power, control, any of it. This is extremely helpful.
I don't know about good and evil. I think there is the general consensus of "normal" and then there are aberrations of the human psyche. We as highly sentient creatures should know right from wrong, I realise that for sure, and a human killing and eating their own kind IS wrong clearly. There is no treatment nor cure, but good and evil are terms I struggle with. As was stated in other comments, even he struggles to explain the impetus behind his deeds. I totally agree with you totally on the importance of educating people and am also glad I watched this. just wanted to share my thoughts with you. Peace ✌ :-)
Shaun Kahler your first statement in your comment is exactly the same as your last. Im glad this was " extremely helpful" for you. Maybe when you grow up you will save 100s of lives.
What makes this man so dangerous is his ability to appear like your average Joe... someone you will allow your kids to be around in full confidence that he wouldn't harm a hair on them...
@@briterry4961 LMAO bro speaking in General of course you don't trust no stranger with your kids... but ppl like this you grow up with, he could of been a close friend. My point was his ability to hide it... you have no friends you grew up with, who you may call your brother or cousin... he seems like your average friend of the family... we all know you don't trust just anyone with ya kids... thats parenting 101 lmao... what's understood don't have to be said that's all I'm saying.... I CLEARLY said be AROUND... meaning you as a parent is there... didn't say leave ya kid with him... I'm pretty sure your kid have been AROUND a sociopath and you had no clue
he had friends when he was very little, then until high school had none. in high school he had some "friends" that used him to fake spazzes and convulsions but only that, after he started drinking they stopped talking to him
He's evil!....this interview horrified me! I just can't wrap my head around the depravity of why he did these acts! If there's an explanation of pure evil he sure fits the description well. He manipulated his victims, talked his way into doing his plans, consciously, meticulously does the unthinkable. There's no mental illness here in the sense of not being able to think and act, but I believe his soul is occupied by evil dark forces! Call it Satan or whatever. But this parasite is not human!
He IS just having a regular interview. How do you expect him to talk or sound? what shocks me, is how everyone thinks that murderers look like they do in Hollywood. If they did, they'd be easy to spot and avoid, now wouldn't they?
Imagine holding in your darkest urges and compulsions for years. Not seeking help. Isolating yourself so there's nothing but you and your sick, twisted thoughts. Pushing yourself away from everyone. His insanity was complete by graduation.
Jeffrey Dahmer is a Psychopath. But back then they didn't know what that meant. Not even himself. You can clearly see that he is confused about himself. He is responsible for his actions, yes. But that he has no empathy and a lack of fear is not something he chose. So stop asking him if he felt nothing for his victims. He can't.
hey man I'm not trying to sound rude but the fact that you're 15 and know so much about this guy seems alarming...if you need help, ask for it! make sure you're not idolizing him in a way. could lead you down a bad path
Okay, someone came up with an arbitrary number on what qualifies you as a psychopath... But obviously if the traits that you DO have are profound enough, you might as well be imo.
finally ive found another person who sees him as a human being!!!!!!!! what happened is sad for so many familys not just the victims its them its the parents also there familys. also jeffs family as well no winners here sadly@@katiecurrie9709
There's a man in the video who tortured, mutilated, injected acid into brains, cut up and dismembered body parts and ate them and preserved them in his fridge and all you freaks are worried about is the interviewer. You're all freaks
@@stephaniegilcher4577 I am not talking about the interview as a whole. I am only saying when he recounts what happens is when he goes into his memory. And the eyes Chico they never lie!
He unlike Ted Bundy, didn't blame pornographic, parental hardship, I believe he genuinely took responsibility for his actions, plus had remorse, Bill O'Reilly always has a. negative outlook about people.
Leslie Powers , Ted Bundy didn't blame porn. he said he took full responsibility for what he did, but that porn contributed to his insatiable appetite for harder and harder porn, and that when porn wasn't enough anymore, he resorted to acting it out. seems to me you want to excuse porn as having any negative role at all, when even the porn makers will admit that they have to get harder and more violent to keep up with people's appetites. to say otherwise is a dang lie. it seems most people would be for preventing this type of thing from happening again.
+ Nat bc, that's my point, Dahmer didn't blame porn for any of his behavior, regardless of the degree of pornographic content. in other words, as he said, 'the person your talking to is the blame... '
Ummmm, my post was about how porn did indeed contribute to Ted bundys downfall, and Dahmer's too. Dahmer mentions porn as having contributed, but he LIKE bundy said it's not porns fault, but it did contribute. It's like me saying it's not donuts fault that I'm fat, but it contributed. Don't defend porn, it's bad and will have the same effect on many other young men. Bundy said it best when he said "it's ironic your killing me while society wallows in the very behaviors that created me." Don't worry Leslie, there are many more crazies being created as we speak, and society turns a blind eye to the forces acting upon them. And if your going to tell me that people develop independently of their surroundings, your wrong and science proves it. Kids who are neglected and abused always have major pyschologist problems. To say it's a coincidence is ignorant.
+ Nat bc I'm not Implying anything, I'm just simply saying that Dahmer himself didn't use, porn as a defense to justify his crimes, he said so himself at 10:15 that Porn, had nothing to do with it, nor parents divorce, etc, the person to blame is sitting right across from you, unquote that's not defending porn, but just saying what Dahamer said, himself,.
+ Nat bc I personally blame, our problems are not scientifically related etc, which I respect your position, but I believe the taking God out of our society.
The state should never have put him in general population in prison they should have kept him away from other prisoners and instead study this man more because the police could have learnt a lot from him it's not everyday you get a nut case like this you can study . And if they could have put him under hypnosis who knows what they could have found out what really was going on in this looneys head ??
alanmeires There was no need to sequester this man. He is a criminally insane cannibal who was aided and abetted by the Milwaukee Police Department. They chose to trust the word of a strange white man living in the inner city rather than the words of a distraught victim trying to get away, because that boy was a person of color.
Not every case will is the same. I doubt studying him would have helped stop another potential killer before it starts. I'm glad he got gen pop. He was doing life sentence instead of being executed. He probably suffered more this way than if the prison did it
He is personality disordered. It is not technically insane. We view the extreme lack of empathy and violence as insanity because it is so abnormal, but technically it is a personality disorder. In his case- extreme borderline personality disorder.
It *is* interesting, and the two sick devils who commented above me need Jesus Christ. It doesnt even make sense that they would attack you like that. Pure evil. You, and that baby are not ugly. They're low class cruel devils.
Dahmer is just an example. The worst people are never caught and everyone sees their faces every day. My heart goes out to the grieving families. He is living proof that our world is utterly arbitrary and the only thing that truly governs "goodness" is how we act when we think there are no consequences.
I used to read everything I could lay my hands on regarding serial killers and remember one neighbor lady actually helped him clean up blood from his freezer when it quit working. No doubt she'll have nightmares forever. And yes, neighbors did complain about the smells. Just no one did anything about it. Fucked up world we live in. The smell from John Wayne Gacy is what actually got that freak busted. He invited cops into the house and one went to use the bathroom and he recognized the smell of body decomposition. They then got a warrant and found all those young men buried beneath under the fucking house. Crazy shit.
or heard anything that sounded suspicious? The victims just had to be making some sort of noise. Especially with the heinous things he'd do to them while they were still alive. Crazy
No he isnt. He got 1 and a half years in 2012 for aiden a felon that resulted in the death of a man. Do some basic research before spouting utter bullshit. www.google.com/amp/s/nationalpost.com/news/homeless-man-who-escaped-canibal-serial-killer-jeffrey-dahmer-gets-prison-sentence/amp
What I do not understand is why was that boy returned to him by police? Why didnt the boy beg police not to return him? So many questions... I blame those officers for that boy's death! So heartbreaking.
Theresa Champagne i think it’s because in those times, homosexuality was frowned upon, or rather seen as an uncomfortable topic. the officers probably wanted nothing to do with a homosexual couple that was engaging in domestic violence. the officers are completely to blame for his death, but that’s the only pathetic logic i could see behind returning the kid to Dahmer.
kai b But that BOY was NAKED, BLEEDING, AND FRIGHTENED! Aversion to homosexuality is no excuse, IMO. In fact, that makes those cops all the more disgusting as that would mean they basically had no regard for the life of a young wounded boy because of sexual orientation. Thank you for your response. I appreciate it.
Theresa Champagne because Dahmer drilled hole in his frontal lobe and poured acid in it he couldn’t tell the police anything as it wasn’t possible for him to explain the situation to them
Isra Arif I believe he started to do the acid thing later, as a way to ensure his victims couldn't leave him. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he hadn't started the "acid" thing yet when this boy escaped.
I disagree....He doesn't want to relive it....and hes not bragging.....hes feeling a sense of freedom, FINALLY to be able to talk about what he'd been keeping inside for so many yrs..... He doesn't wish to hide anymore.... His honesty is real, even though its to help his own mind
Doubtful, he was trying to tell his story the best he could. We should be thanking him for this, it could possibly prevent more from happening in the future.
Evy Courtney this is my perspective...5:36 he's definitely savoring the memories. he's being so honest because he has nothing else to lose and loves being able to go back and relive the murders. he's just saying everything he thinks a "normal" person would, and a lot of people in the comments find this admirable because when people are usually transparent about what they've done, it's because they've been able to recognize and admit to it. he's playing that role here. but you can see through it at some points. he has no guilt or remorse about it which is why he seems so straightforward. these guys are so good at concealing their true selves.
I think he knows himself better than anyone. Maybe at the time he was committing the crimes there was a lot of brain fog but I don't agree with the reporters that he doesn't know. Most ppl even adults don't begin to understand their negative behavior or addictions until later in life when "the puzzle"starts to fall into place. I think being sober has helped him to reflect.
Lean Meat for once I agree with what I see here. And i think he is on heavy medication too and that changes someone sometimes, plus he is intelligent and know, like he said it on his trial, that he is going to jail for life, he has nothing to loose, do you know what's it's like having nothing to loose? You say anything you want to say, and what is the point in lying? imagine that but with so much attention. He doesn't blame sociaty and his parents but, when you're in that kind of middle, when you know your chemistry, you don't start drinking just like that so heavily. I'm not finding excuses, you can explain evil but you can't excuse it. It's just a very interesting matter, thats why we're all here, looking at that show...That show that treats the case with a indicent curiosity mixt with excitement , when the journalist said "and that will shock you" as if it was a promis for a excitement beyond limits...
I was watching on my phone and whatever is wrong with them is making them look almost purple and scaled. Apparently they're dry. I'm aware that people's lips occasionally tend to lack moisture. Thank you for kindly pointing that out. His have apparently become so dry that it's unfortunately effecting their appearance on my phone's screen.
Superpureeliteful Sorry But Dahmer’s psychologist said he was proud of his homosexuality, that he hid it because it was his secret and a part of his life he could control. Said if he had been straight, it would have been women he killed. He had abandonment issues. I don’t claim to know but that’s what his therapist and lawyers said.
Im not defending this guy, but dont put meaning into others unless you are qualified to comment. The interviewer comments that Dhamer shows no remorse because he describe his evil actions factually. Lady, he lived those actions, he has explained them hundred of times to different people. Obviously he will sound factual.
When he said "I had no intention of hurting them", he meant that he didn't really want to kill them. He wanted someone that would keep him company and fulfill his desires. And of course, since everyone would refuse, then he would kill them. But he didn't enjoy the killing, the hurting. That's why he mostly gave sleeping pills to his victims first and that's why he tried to make a zombie, so that he wouldn't have to kill. That's what he meant.
Blackwood that's a very well thought out, intelligent explanation. I've been reading hundreds of comments on THIS specific video [from 6:53 am till now - 9:12 am] and yours is the 1st that addresses when he said "I didn't mean to...". I can tell by your conclusion that you stepped back away from the drama, emotional rants about liking him or not, he's evil or not, lying or not and looked at a part of his interview that baffled many. I mean, I DID mutter to myself when I heard him say that...I was saying- uh yeah right! you didn't "mean" to kill how many? didn't mean to beat them to death? didn't mean to inject liquids into their brains?! yeah right! But you actually made me look at it from a different view.... not from a victims view nor mine own. I rather enjoy that you've added another facet to this gem to consider. (though I do feel pretty shallow for not seeing this myself)
Shelly In Full Bloom Carver exactly what I also thinking about what he's trying to say or explain about the specific question,,if just only somehow he able to met a considerate partner that will never take advantage of him but will stay and would also like him who knows there might be a possibility he won't spiral the murdering that he never really at first as purely intention,,,just my own personal thought anyway.....
you’re making it sound as if he was forced to kill solely because his desires weren’t fulfilled? (said desires include fantasies of rape) no, he liked the control and dominance over someone else’s life, he viewed people as objects and wanted to take their lives, don’t try and defend a rapist and murderer.
I know everyone is kind of shocked that he's taking full responsibility for what he did, but if you think about it, maybe that is his way of being proud of it and making it his own. Maybe he really doesn't want to blame any other source because he would feel like he wasn't getting the credit he deserved.
Lauren L Not necessarily, he took full responsibility because like he said, there was no use in hiding anymore when all the evidence was right there. He wasn't proud, he just didn't care what happened next and wanted to clear everything up for the victims families and police. He knew what he did was wrong, he just had no feelings or sympathy. I'm trying to explain this but he's so complicated and I wish he was put into a psychiatric institute so he could be studied and possibly find the issues that caused him to think the way he did and do the things he did
Lauren L I think it's a way for him to re-live the crimes? He kept the remains of the victims for a reason. Saying and recounting all this is a way of going through his fantasties again? I don't think he got much action in jail too lol
Skelter The thing is, no one will ever say that whatever they do comes from a good place. It's OK to look for reasons and motivation for his behaviour. Jeffrey seems to be very matter of fact, I think he just wants to share about his world, his desires, his compulsions. From a psychological point of view, this is fascinating.
Skelter Thank you for the sidenote. As for Dahmer's matter-of-fact speaking style, I personally wouldn't accept nothing else. Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer and other gruesome necrophiliacs always spoke very nonchalantly. I mean, they literally had sexual relations with corpses and dismembered human bodies, I think it must have taken a lot to get these people "emotional". For comparison, take a look at Aileen Wuornos. She was always very passionate in her speech, at times seemed incoherent, in general she looked and acted the part (aka the monster). But at the same time she gathered more sympathy because she really seemed like a very, very disturbed woman, which makes it easier for the rest of us to empathize with her and her crimes (killing alleged rapists). She caused a lot of pain but she also suffered from a lot of pain. But when it comes with these guys, they seem so nonchalant, despite the pain they caused to many many families, and that, I think, is the main reason why people get pissed listening to them.
Let's see, (1) naked in the street (2) bleeding, that should be reason enough to ask for ID of them both, and ask Jeffrey if they can have a "look around" of the home. Add the fact the boy LOOKS like a child, and Jeffrey said that they were having a lover's quarrel, now all my red flags are raging, full throttle!! Clue me in: What the hell does the police need to set off their radars? Aren't they trained in this? Maybe they were waiting to be hit on the head with the rubber mallet. I would say that the relatives of this boy and the others that came after have a very strong case about the police not doing their job of serving and protecting.
But he said that there was actually a dead body lying on the floor of his bedroom.....had the police bothered to spend ONE extra ounce of give-a-shit, rather than focusing on getting back to those donuts. Oh, and let's not get on the CPS story! I will be here ALL day! Sometimes I wonder who exactly they protect, the child, or the perpetrator. STRANGE, STRANGE, society we live in, indeed.
j.a. Morgan I honestly feel like the police didn’t care at all. I don’t see how they could just see this boy like this and think “oh it’s just some gay couple being themselves.” Like wtf. It’s insane.
Their radars didn't go off because the murderer was white. Too many times the police have neglected too many things. It's really annoying to hear about stuff like this and find out the police didn't feel the situation was weird and/or suspicious. A regular everyday person knows that things didn't add up with a naked bloody boy out side with a grown man. Shame on those policemen. Prayers still go up for family and friends of all the victims.
When a man steal a manneqin...and go in and out of mental fk bin...hes clearly not a fashion designer.wtf...thats just parents that didnt give a shit...they look like they didnt wanna bother much really...

Whoever the sociologist they have on is is way off base. He feels no empathy. He clearly explained that the reason he wanted them dead/unconscious was because of the convenience it presented. He clearly had an obsession with necrophilia since adolescence. He clearly stated that the reason he would've preferred not to have lived with all of the obsessions which drove his disgusting actions was because of the inconvenient "problems" it caused in his life, not out of any moral repugnance he feels. It's pretty obvious that the reason he's sharing this with the public is not out of a sense of duty but one of apathy as he uses the interviewer as a soundboard to try and logically understand himself as opposed to trying to apologize for his behavior. This criminologist is so dead set on imposing his understanding of empathy when it very clearly doesn't apply to this man.
Sociologists must play a role to elicit certain responses. Psychopaths must be handled a certain way so they drop their guard and continue the next part of the game. Its why they are so hard to observe in their natural environment - because that environment is complex deception designed to exploit common human understanding, response and behaviour.
You're absolutely correct. There is no remorse or empathy in this man. Far from, in fact. He attempted to eradicate every vestige of personhood and personality from his victims, to create mindless zombies that would simply be a receptacle for his sexual encounters and require nothing from him on any level. He was attempting to create zombies; to destroy the beauty that is another human being, a person's entire life, personality, history, purpose, future and everything else so that he could create a breathing object he could control and have sex with. In this interview, he specifically describes the rush of power that came with the realization that he could get what he wanted sexually without having to worry about other people's needs - and all he had to do was kill them. To him, it was reasonable - even preferable - to kill people in order to have sex the way he wanted to. It does not get more narcissistic than that. That is what other human beings meant to this man. That's the only use they had in Dahmer's world. He felt that his orgasm was more important than another person's whole _life_ . Too many people don't realize that the humanity they believe they are seeing here is their own humanity reflected back to them. For example, he claims he never wanted to hurt anyone and people may read that as being caring because that is how they would mean it. But the truth is that hurting people wasn't the motivation because the other person is seen as an object, not a person. You can't hurt an object, so that would never occur to you. You just use it. Of course he never _wanted_ to hurt them because it never crossed his mind; how his actions would impact them was never considered at all. The only thing that mattered to him was what he wanted. It is the same with when he talks about wanting the victims to stay with him as long as possible. This sounds endearing, but it isn't. It's wanting complete control over another person, regardless of their wishes, will, wants or needs. Yes, he is being honest after a fashion, but it isn't what people think. When you put your own emotion and aside and just listen to what he is saying, it is obvious he feels neither empathy nor remorse, and there is no real connection to other human beings at all.
The thing i’m the most sad about is the 14 year old boy’s. Those boys had so much ahead of them yet they sadly let an older man manipulate him to go into his apartment. May all the victims rest in piece.
Keep in mind almost everyone has violent thoughts but it's fine line between feeling like doing something bad and doing it that defines our character. You become what you practice.
Lean Meat no, I’m definitely positive that it’s not a fine line between fantasizing about getting revenge on somebody by fighting them and injecting acid into their skulls in an attempt to create sex zombies, failing to do so, and then cutting their heads off, participating in necrophilia, and then consuming the flesh of another human being. It is SO NOT A FINE LINE, sir! Speak for yourself lol!
It's ironic at 08:40 Nancy Glass, makes the remark '...as he explains in detail... it is clear that none of it has touched him' unquote, That doesn't seem to make any sense, you do an interview with a serial killer and ask him to explain the horror and then make such a comment, what'd she expect him to say?
akuma4u out of every woman that accused Bill of rape were all fake and had no physical evidence. As with the case of Andrea Constrand, it was consented and Bill used those pills recreationally.
He seems to be doing his best to explain something he doesn't really understand himself. So matter of fact, it's scary.
angielou123 I was going to say something similar. He seems oddly calm and collected. Much different to listening to Charles Manson , but maybe that's because Manson never technically killed anyone.
He's also probably under heavy medication during these interviews. At least that's what I tell myself to make it easier

If serial killers shock no matter their stance and approach why is it worth mentioning that they are passionate or indifferent about it then?
maybe, now hear me out now, maybe it's the "killing" part that creeps people out
I think the part that disturbs people is that they see some humanity in the killer and it ruins their idea of what he is supposed to be.
*Anyone who feels good about simply pointing fingers at "the monster" really needs to consider what it is they're accomplishing.*
It's quite literally allowing for MORE murders, assaults and violence to happen in the world, not less. The victims involved will only have died in vain.

He was killing a 14 year old. The child escapes. The police find the child and RETURN HIM??! I’m just... I can’t

She's kind of Sketchy. She tried to profit off her brother's murder. A lot of the victims families rejected them or disowned them for being gay.

Svinja Nola Chick I have a type written letter from Jeffrey Dahmer to my preacher. They had corresponded, prompted by JD,
I believe.

There's no mental illness here in the sense of not being able to think and act, but I believe his soul is occupied by evil dark forces! Call it Satan or whatever. But this parasite is not human!

The boy was drugged and also didn't speak English well.
The "honesty" from guys like this is simply a chance for them to relive everything while telling (bragging to) the world about it...

Im not defending this guy, but dont put meaning into others unless you are qualified to comment. The interviewer comments that Dhamer shows no remorse because he describe his evil actions factually. Lady, he lived those actions, he has explained them hundred of times to different people. Obviously he will sound factual.
true
Blackwood finally someone gets it

Skelter Exactly... Good Statement

Their radars didn't go off because the murderer was white. Too many times the police have neglected too many things. It's really annoying to hear about stuff like this and find out the police didn't feel the situation was weird and/or suspicious.
Yeah, basically. Thanks for putting what I was thinking and unable to articulate into words. Poor dude, kind of.
Quote by Jeffrey Dahmer: "I've got to start eating at home more".
22:45 Albert Einstein became a serial killer expert.
PinkHotdog lol 😝
Ok, at least I'm not the only one who saw him as Einstein reincarnated. lol
The thing i’m the most sad about is the 14 year old boy’s. Those boys had so much ahead of them yet they sadly let an older man manipulate him to go into his apartment. May all the victims rest in piece.
I didn't know Albert Einstein studied criminology
Justin Ivler 🤣🤣🤣
If he did we'd all be dead because the bomb.?Remember he came to America to help us make bombs to kill bad guys.uh Nazis and end the war remember.

Amazing how well he expresses himself...He is a very high IQ person.
The fact that he doesn't blame the victims families for absolutely despising him is amazing
Just saying what people wanted to him. Look at him in court when the families are reading. Cold, emotionless, with dupers delight.
@@Foxfire8787 Becuz he was ashamed .. What else was he supposed to Do in Court ?
@@Foxfire8787 he actually taken off his glasses so that he cannot face them

Tinfoilers unite! The earth IS flat.
Keep in mind almost everyone has violent thoughts but it's fine line between feeling like doing something bad and doing it that defines our character. You become what you practice.
Lean Meat there is also a fine line between being a psychopath and sociopath, and being an ordinary person with violent thoughts.
TheCannedWalrus you can say that again.
Sleeping pill mixture drink ...he was like an extreme gay version of bill cosby.
except Bill was innocent.
@@thisguy8862 innocent? How do u figure that?
akuma4u out of every woman that accused Bill of rape were all fake and had no physical evidence. As with the case of Andrea Constrand, it was consented and Bill used those pills recreationally.
@@thisguy8862 yes youre right..thats why hes in jail now.
akuma4u He was wrongfully convicted because it was consented though.
