Mariners inviting the fan who caught the two foul balls from yesterday to throw the first pitch. That was cool of them to do that.
Loved it! Get the common fan into the game more often somehow. Nice job.
What an awesome first pitch selection!
That 7th inning was brutal. Logan had a chance to finish off Bobby Witt and didn't. Rojas kicked the double play ball and then it all went downhill from there. It was nice at least to see Mitch get a few hits including a HR. Goal is series wins, take the rubber match tomorrow before a tough road trip.

I think the Royals make the playoffs this year. Minnesota fades late and the Guardians do just enough to win the division. Royals get most improved team accolades.
@@marknorthrup4897If anything the Guardians would fade late. Twins pitching staff is top 5 in the league and they are just starting to get players healthy. When Royce Lewis comes back the lineup will be tough especially for Cleveland pitchers. Royals have a fun roster with solid veteran starting pitchers and a fun young lineup with Perez as the Leader and Witt as the superstar.

Another punchless effort by the M's hitters - actually both offenses were poor - the difference being the Royals got 4 BB's and 2 of them scored while the M's had only 2 and they did not score. M's hitters continued adding to their league lead in K's with another 11. They need to do something to stop wasting these types of pitching efforts. Go M's!

@@kobekwong8479 Teoscar isn't having that great of a year - his average is worse than last year with the M's and while he is on a hot streak, he is still striking out at a ridiculous rate - the last thing the M's needed to keep.
Not sure the Royals will be able to keep MacArthur as their closer with a 4.58 ERA & oponent slugging % of .513. He's already given up 4 HR this year.

And Gilbert should've been pulled as soon as he gave up that walk, manager needs to know when and when not to pull pitchers

You could see from last years Royals team that they were gonna be good this year, batters trying to make contact not swing for the fences every time..Cards hitters could take some cues from their in-state rivals..

Royals are an amazing team, but if McArthur keeps allowing a homerun in the last inning they will have problems.
Dude throws like 20 pitches and allows at least one home run every time. Today it was just a solo, so he got lucky.
