    Horrible. Open mouth, rolled horses, this has nothing to do with Classical Dressage.

      This mare is a work in progress. A lot of the ride she is a 1 or a 2 on the rein (out of 10). She does tend to suck back, drop her shoulders and not come through. Hence we are working on throughness and connection. There are moments when she is getting in front of the vertical, pole high and lifting her neck and back. But there are years of training where that wasn’t the goal so she has a lot of muscle built that keeps her prone to hiding from the bit and not using her body correctly. Can’t fix habits formed over many years in 3 rides.
