Thanks David! Had an amazing time wandering through the Indian supermarket! Heepal was a great host too! It's really amazing how much Dave knows about Indian food, snacks, and the ingredients. Heepal is the owner of the supermarket and he was showing us around the HUGE supermarket! It was fantastic experience because I have never seen so much different ingredients and snacks and foods! I am used to only Korean and American supermarkets so this was a new and interesting experience. I got to see the locals shop and I kind of imagined that I was in India because EVERYTHING was Indian and all the customers were Indian haha. People were curious to see us there and even some fans stopped to take pictures (with David, not me haha). Amazing that David has Indian fans in America too haha. Awesome experience!
I love Patel Brothers in Sunrise, but if I ever went to THIS place, you’d never get me to leave! All I cook is Indian food. My Jewish boyfriend is not so enthusiastic about it, but I can’t get enough! Shout out to Jason! I love your enthusiasm for Indian food! I am convinced we can unite all people from the world with food!! Also, shout out to Heepal for explaining everything! A natural on camera! Boy, would I love to chat with you! So much to learn!🌟🌟🌟❤️❤️❤️
No we don't know about frozen foods but there are preserved dishes with traditional techniques. Also we don't eat everything hot . It depends on the dish when should we eat. Ya indians don't like those frozen dishes which are meant to eaten fresh
Majority doesn't eat those frozen foods because for that we have roadside rehdi / dhaba / take aways / restaurants ... Foreign lands doesnt have these road side carts / rehdi 😂😂😂 and Restaurants are costly ... So working class go for these quick bites 🍻
I would love to have one of these stores. We have small stores for your Indian needs. I learned about Indian food from a family that owns a small store behind my house! My first thing I ate was Pani Puri! I fell in love. I could get lost I a store like this and come out broke! I love the health benefits from the food and spices. Especially turmeric. It's good for my arthritis, stomach digestion (only half of pancreas functions), heart health. It helped me lose 60 pounds! I'm learning to cook Indian food because we only have 3 Indian restaurants near me. 🤗❤️💜
Dear David - Wow - This was a FANTASTIC Vlog ! So happy to see that INDIA GROCERS is super well stocked - in fact in some cases they have more varieties than India 🇮🇳!! This was one massive store and the Point of Display was well thought . Starting with the morning stuff , condiments , veggies , fruits , multiple grains , flours , Frozen food , Soft drinks and other Indian beverages! Thoroughly enjoyed this Vlog ! Thanks a bunch for this enriching experience 👍👍🙏🙏🌟🌟🌟
Thank you for getting a video of everything in stock in the entire store, showing all the brands and varieties, and explaining what everything was in detail. When my relatives who live near there go shopping there, I'll be able to tell them exactly what to buy, because they don't normally cook Indian food so probably wouldn't know what ingredients to buy to make dal or something. I saw things in that store I've special ordered online because I couldn't get them in California, that really is the best stocked Indian grocery store!
Man this video made my day. Thanks David and Heepal. I checked out the site right away. Hoping that Heepal adds vegetables to the list of products he ships home. I am a student in the US, I dont have a car to go the grocery stores. I live in Virginia and the grocery store is like 10 miles from my place with no connectivity whatsoever to it. It would be really helpful if you could also send in the vegetables and fruits. I can order stuff on a weekly basis. Includes vegetables, my bread, my sweets which is roughly about 100 dollars a week at least.
When I clicked this video, I thought it was going to be about Patidar Supermarket. I think they have a location in Edison. There's a second Patidar location in Hillsborough NJ, that's pretty big too. It's in an old Stop and Shop location. I'd love to see someone do a video there.
Hey man, you should know that Curry leaves are prominently used in South India not only in Kerala..All those spices and greens are used in entire south india for your information..Kerala is not the only state which uses Greens
I went to oak tree road with my friend a few times in 2005, 2006. We went to the restaurants. I saw Patel Market. I dont recall seeing this store. If i go back to Edison NJ, I'll look for this store. Thanks for the tour of this store. It has wonderful food items.
Fantastic super market with so many variety of Indian food items from different corners of India. David seems to b an adventurous man. All the best to u Mr David in this endeavour.
Wow what Amazing this Store is .I cook Excellent Indian food .Actually I had given Indian cooking classes to foreigner visiting McLeod Ganj. So really Happy to see Indian food loved out of India .
Just FYI, idli and dosa have the same batter with slight difference in proportions of rice and black gram..Both of them have more of rice then lentil as ingredients
@Aditya And who said it's a Pakistani supermarket ??? Who said that ?? But at all Indian / Pakistani / Bangladeshi supermarkets in N. America, Australia and the UK you'll find Indian brands & Pakistani brand & Bangladeshi brands in all the above mentioned supermarkets. Take it easy, come & see yourself. The best rice and masalas at any Indian stores are found to be from Pakistan. Rest most of the stuff is from India with high quality. Pakistan doesn't have much to offer though. Some Bangladeshi brands could be found too.
I'd love to shop here! Tampa area has Patel's, but this place is way bigger, great selection. I live in Maine now and we only have one little Indian market in Portland, lovely place but small. I'm probably also the northernmost grower of several curry leaf trees ..mmm fresh leaves are so good ☺
Indians are responsible for the growth of this channel. We single handedly made his account famous. Now a day check any foreigner channel you will find they are doing India India. Bcoz they knows views comes from India. Huge population😂😂😂😂 PS - I do watch his videos.
Sunitha, Just for your information, not all the brands are from India...... please visit first, seeing is believing......... comment after getting your facts right. Thanks
Hi David, why don't you make a trip to India again and visit coastal side from Mumbai to Goa by Mumbai to Goa national highway, which is called KONKAN region. They got very different tasty and unique food. I am sure you will enjoy it.
I don't know how this store stays open. I hardly see anyone shopping there. Hardly no one buys the fresh vegetables and fruit. Notice no one is in that section. It's a small section. Other indian grocery stores have a much bigger vegetable section and there is always people shopping for vegetables.

You can make the frozen food piping hot.
Oh shit David you’re here? Can we meet up? I’d love to take you to some of my favorite places around my town.
This is massive. 👍
Buying curry leaves $4 is horrible 🤣
People earn in USD and spend in USD. You won’t be able to digest any item if you start converting that into INR.
Very nice video
can only imagine the logistics behind this mammoth operation.
If you can eat samosa or pakori with beer you're officially an Indian 🤣
How much of the produce is organic?
I don't know how this store stays open. I hardly see anyone shopping there. Hardly no one buys the fresh vegetables and fruit. Notice no one is in that section. It's a small section. Other indian grocery stores have a much bigger vegetable section and there is always people shopping for vegetables.
I live in India and even I have never seen that masala pomegranate thing
I have seen but people make it at home like add black salt chatt masala etc
@@Anmolnegi-yw7hg that's a great combination. I'll make it at home this weekend
Maybe add a lil vodka for some kick
@@eshwars1446 yes do try u can try with other juices according to your taste also black salt Tate's vey good with carbonated drinks like limca etc
@@Anmolnegi-yw7hg yes bro definitely
Do you sell fresh meat and fish here? It seems there only sell dry products!
