The 11'10" part was probably in the middle, the entrance clearly had to be bigger than that because you can see the height of the truck (13'6") printed on the corner of the box. If the road had an upward angle under then it's easy to get a truck under the opening then stuck in the middle.

can't believe nobody thinks to deflate the tires before trying to move out from under the bridge, he finally flipped the dump switch which lowers the pressure a bit in the suspension but I'd take 50% air out of tires as well. Some trucks here in Europe even have a built in switch to do it from the cabin and then reflate after (they carry a built in compressor)

    Oh for bloop's sake!
Deflate the tyres. Put some ballast in it to weigh it down.
There's so much you could have done to make the extraction easier on all involved: You, the truck - and the bridge.

is that chasis plied too? Now on a Mercedes truck you mostly have air suspension. That could help in this case. How much turnover in repairs would that bridge generate evey year?

yeah the 26 penske trucks are really high off of the ground for some reason. l think they do it that way to the box clears the tires, and then they don't have to make indents for wheel wells inside for the box for the tires. which is nice because the wheel wells in u-hual trucks really do get in the way when you're trying to pack everything tight.

You will likely have a high repair bill. You may be banned from renting from Penske again. Next time you drive a box truck, know its height and minimum clearance and plan roads around tunnels, bridges, and other obstacles that do not have tall enough openings for the truck to clear.
