Looking at getting a new KLR, which I really like, but I've been looking at the Tiger 900's and there is now some very good prices on slightly used bikes and now I noticed some nearly new 17-19 tiger 800 XCA's and XCX's for 7-9k, which is a bargain for such a nice machine, not to mention I think the 800's look better to me than the 900's. Great Bike n good review!
Very well reviewed. You have taken so much of efforts... You have explained it all around genuinely. Thanks a lot. Lots of Love from India. Tc. Ride Safely.
Hello, some language suggestion here: A "show stopper" in American English means something extremely good,. I think what you really mean in this video with "show stopper" is a "deal breaker". Great video by the way, thank you for taking the time and effort to do this.
Good honest review. I took the 800 XRx for a test ride along with the 1200 XCa. I did feel the heat (I'm in Spain) especially on the 1200 but here you kind of get used to heat rising from your crotch rocket lol. Good low down torque, fun as you say, a nice all rounder I think. I need it for work and for fun and we have plenty of trails here to be able to do it all really. Certainly thinking about getting the 800 XCa as the 1200 is out of reach and although the 1200 has loads of power and handles well, the 800 is easier to stop and get into the corners = More fun!!
Motorider Jerez thanks for watching and the comments. I agree it is a good all rounder! It is all about personal preference and I always say you can’t go wrong with today’s standards. Enjoy the ride!
At 12:06 great bike on your left there😀, just traded mine for a 2011mod 800xc. My triumph are the 1st. gen and has no gadget at all. Wish it had ABS, but thats it. Great review sir, and l to like inline engiens, so this triumph suits me great.
Chrostopher Agius IMO there is not much difference, but noticeably more power with the bigger 1200, I also like the shaft drive so for me the 1200, but that is only me because I tour a lot. Cheers and stay safe!
Chrostopher Agius yes bigger bike heavier but to be expected in comparison to 800, not an issue for me personally, but that is because I ride similar on daily basis and did not notice anything disturbing. I hope this helps.
Hi , God test just a comment that you don't feel any difference in the high or low setting of the windshield. if you drive in the rain there is a difference. That's my experience. Br. Poul
Yahh,, that what i thinking,, i like model xca or xcx.. But seat to high to me,, some people say,, that model xcx have lowered seat and suspension.. I dont.. To me.. If lower under 840mm until 810..is good...

The best review that i have ever seen . Great job .
My Third Eye thanks buddy
Suspension is top-notch on the 800xca wp forks and rear shock. Top quality think KTM use the same 👍
I am planning to buy that baby but I am a bit anxious about the tubed tires as i wil mainly use on road! Any advice ?
Great review.
Lawrence Patrickus thanks
Too much engine heat and engine digging into my leg would probably be a deal breaker for me. Really surprised to hear that.
Nice review !
scomeau1 thanks
do you prefer the 1200 or the 800 ? is there a huge differance in power and wight ?. which is the one you enjoyed most ?

Poul Schjerning thanks for sharing, good point!
The heat is a problem
If you're sitting either side of an engine you're going to feel heat all bikes give off heat, ride a KTM they're very hot
Jason Clulow fair enough, agreed, some more than others. Cheers.
Does the xca 800 have a 21” tire? And does it have a shift indicator?
JEB yes it has a 21 inch in front and does have a gear indicator. thanks for watching
Is that lower seat?? 810mm?? So it is can adjust be lower...
the seat can be adjusted mechanically from 830mm down to 810mm
0 to 100 Adventure so the high measure standard seat only 830mm?? Or 840mm - 860mm?? Please explain to me...
Yus Ri It differs from model to model e.g. XCa 860mm down to 840mm, the XR 830mm down to 810mm, and the XRx 780mm down to 760mm.
Yahh,, that what i thinking,, i like model xca or xcx.. But seat to high to me,, some people say,, that model xcx have lowered seat and suspension.. I dont.. To me.. If lower under 840mm until 810..is good...
Wind noise?
Leon Jennings I would say pretty good.
TPMS? thanks!
Glauco Quadros Soares not 100% sure but I believe not included on the Xc range. Best to check with the dealer.
@@0to100Adventure No tpms with Triumph spoked wheels :(
