What are the dimensions of your room and simulator? I have garage and only layout feasible is up against a wall that starts at 7’2” then gradually get higher with slanted roof. 18” to 24” away from that wall is around 8’ which is where my mat would go. Thinking of copying your design into a corner if I can get my swing fitting. Think my layout would be 11.5’ wide x 18’ long. Stance would have to be offset which isn’t ideal.
Hey. Great video as always. Question...what did you use to attach the foam tiles. I bought the same tiles. Used lock tite heavy duty glue. They didn't hold. Thinking of trying staples next.
How strong is that angle? I looked at that but thought it might be too flimsy so ended up drilling a load of holes in 3mm angle iron, was a right pain.
@4:54 idd get some cheap eva foam garage tiles from a budget store (over here its action) and you can cut and glue those into a nice frame to cover those clips. you can even go next level and wrap the eva foam with some black fabric.
Sneak up some 2x4 (or 2x6 depending on the angle) from wall to wall (just to cover the clips) and pad it with some 2in foam to reduce the bounce back.. might not work because of a bend in the middle, hence the 2x6..
Awesome video mate and nice sim build! Incredible what youve done with such a small space.
Thanks mate 🙌🏼⛳️
Great video! Thanks for sharing with such easy to follow details.
Glad you enjoyed it!⛳️
Hi Mitch, where did you get the angle iron from?
Screwfix 👍🏼
@@hcpgolf Thought that was the webpage haha! 24mm hold up ok?
That’s the one 👍🏼

My room is only 2.4m high, 2.4m wide and about 5m long. Offset stance/hitting works fine 👍🏼⛳️
Looks good. I’m in the process of installing a screen now in my garage but mine will have to hang down
Thanks mate. How do you mean hang down?

I stuck some cardboard to the bottom of the tiles using the adhesive spray. Then adhesive sprayed the cardboard to the ceiling 👍🏼⛳️
@Handicap Golf re they staying up? what's the name of the spray? Thanks
It’s from screwfix - just some cheap adhesive glue something like this www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-contact-adhesive-natural-500ml/32657

Seems to be very strong. It isn’t as flimsy as it might appear on camera. Not had any issues so far and can’t foresee any 👍🏼⛳️
Nice tips! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks mate 🙌🏼⛳️

Brilliant I will look into that - thanks mate 👍🏼⛳️
@@hcpgolf welcome, glad it came across understandable
Where did you get the screen from? How much was it?
It's from Hybrid Me, here is the link: www.hybridme.co.uk/product-page/golf-impact-screen
Black carpet runner for a nice clean look and cover the tarp clips
Like this but cut into strips? amzn.to/499xcME
Yes something like that. Just use Velcro strips to hang.

Not a bad idea I may try something like that 👍🏼 thanks!
I would hang a short curtain right above the screen look professional and stops balls well
Those plastic clips suck and break easy
If you hit them with the ball they do ye 😂
@@hcpgolf the plastic threads strip out really easy and don't hold.
Oh I've not had an issue like that with mine
