Oh yes! I now have a "Mega" cab called Periphery and a "Mega" cab called Nickelback. Let's start looking for a new band for naming the other cabs I have. 😄
Sounds great!! Although, I feel that the market for 5150 sims is already massively over-saturated. One thing that I've been wondering for a long time: Why do you guys not implement a stereo option in your plugins? Especially with "Vorna" it would be a needed relieve in processing power and it is a standard feature for most (if not all) other plugins.
Also, you did a questionaire a few years back asking what people would like to see in the future and if I remember correctly, "stereo" was in the top requests.
@@MC-og5ss The stereo option would be essential. Yes, the market is oversaturated with 5150s, although I'm happy with any high gain ML Sound Lab stuff. I just recently commented on the video of the previous Amped plugin that it would be great to see amps like the Diezel Herbert/Hagen, ENGL Savage 120/Invader in the ML Sound Lab "family" but everything that might be interesting can come, see for example the MLC plugin from Bogren.
I just downloaded the trial version and oh boy it sounds really good. It gives me the same vibe as the Triple G as far as the quality, depth and response. There is also a very spanky pick attack. It really cuts through. Great job and another great sounding plugin! (I am making this comment before I even watch the video ;P )
jeez i just bought the gemini and now there is block letter and there is still more to come. have mercy! just kidding, never stop blessing us with awesome sick high quality plugins!
don't get me wrong, I appreciate what you do, but how many more 5150's do we really need? they've been modelled to death, and we have two new 5150's just this week. it's a great amp, but I feel like there are more tonal options that you could explore, like more fuzzy tones or boutique amps that no one is doing
Hey - definitely understand that point of view and actually we're working on something that fits exactly what you're asking for. That being said I would argue that there really are not that many truthful amp sims based on a good condition original unmodded Block Letter... honestly maybe 1-2 amp sims out there. Block Letter has sort of become a description that everyone throws around for generic high gain especially by people who have never even been in a room with the real thing. Sort of like when guitarists say something "sounds like a plexi" when describing a generic British guitar sound when in reality a plexi sound is very specific and reacts to guitars in a very specific way. Also all of these Block Letters sound a bit different f.ex. take Fluff's Block Letter from Roots and while the gain level matches pretty close to mine - my Block Letter is way tighter in the low end and done with all the latest advancements in impedance modeling that we've developed in.... has it been 3 years?! The difference between those two amp sims done with essentially the same underlying tech gives us an amp sim that sounds like a different amp entirely.
thanks a lot for the reply! yeah, I get it, every amp sounds different in the real world, and people can just choose whichever option they want and buy it. I've bought your Iconic simulation and am very happy with it, even though I have a lot of 5150s already. I just feel a bit frustrated with every company releasing 5150's on a monthly basis while there are lots of uncharted territories in terms of guitar tone @@mlsoundlab
We need as many as people can make. Every company's interpretation of a 5150 will be slightly different, and will sound more accurate as time passes. We need new takes on the same thing, otherwise we'd still be using Nick Crow's 8505.
Been loving the Amped stuff for ages. The ML5 (original version) was what sold me on it all. There have been many amp sims of the Mark series but they all seem to miss that... "bite" that the real thing has but you managed to capture it! Sounds even better in the updated/Vorna version. I know you might not want to spill out any secrets but just wondering if there's any possibility of an Engl amps soon...? I've found the amp sim versions of them from other manufacturers a bit lacking for the most part.
@@MilkoOfficialChannel no, there is a EL34 Stealth as you said but the 6L6 Stealth is all the rave, especially the blue channel, which is different from the standard 6L6 and unlike the EL34 Stealth.
Love your plugins! Would be neat to have an entirely original metal amp that sounds like no other on the market. With knobs and shaping completely original, unfamiliar, and for exploration.
This does sound good. Stoked for the Nickleback info, and bummed too. They always have had great tones, just not the same with the songs. Same with Creed.
This may happen to others, or is just me, I just tweek the EQ of ML Drums in FL Studio, and the sound does not sound right, but in standalone, sounds fine, what is happening?
Hi , I bought a license in august, now after a fresh install there is no way to get my license key to work , is there a way to get the old request key to mach the downloads? this is soo annoying
Woohooo and also teasing a new bass amp !!! As a man looking into buying a bass, i love that !! Also, i acquired your Mesa trad and Green cab packs and they sound awesome ! Will you release a 91 green cab pack ?
Hey Miko, sounds good enough! But honestly, to say this is indistinguishable from real tube amplifiers is a bit audacious. In this case I won't dare to say that, as this doesn't sound close to the agressiveness and mid punch of the real deal. With respect. But hey, anybody will have their own opinion on this... or miss a McDonald's meel and grab it! Anyway, keep up the good work man!
Mikko here - I actually shot a video comparing it to the real thing to showcase this. Quite many people have sound they think of when thinking of a Block Letter but it's not necessarily well done in any amp sim out there which is why I wanted to make this plugin.
We've had people liking and disliking the trial version in equal proportions really - our version is completely time-unlimited, meaning that you'll always be able to come back and test it out again in the future if the first run just wasn't the right time for you. We know the mutes aren't fun, and we are sorry that it's rubbed you the wrong way. -Kai
Can always appreciate affordable plugins that sound amazing. Thank you for keeping it real.

That tone is absolutely sick. I'm definitely grabbing this one, but you're such a tease with the drums and bass ;-)
Mikko's a devil for it! Hopefully we'll have some more news on that front shortly 😇

I love your amp sims! but please add stereo input capabilities, it’s so much easier when tweaking and finding the right settings, begging you 🙏
3:38 "Isn't this world amazing?" Face change, cut scene. 😂 😂
Thanks for this guys, Ive actually requested this for a couple years and I'm grateful that its here !
Hope you love it! 💪

A block letter plugin without the matching cab? 🤔
Any chance the Amped Bass plugin is getting an update..? :) I own the flagship and bass plugins. The update you gave the jcm800 plugin made me jealous
