That is not Police Corruption. That officer pulled your local driver for not displaying his permit on the windscreen. In Sri Lanka, there is a rule that you have to clearly display your permit/license on the left passenger side windscreen so that police officers can easily identify licensed vehicles. This local driver did not do that and ended up being pulled over by the police officer. The police officer is actually a kind one. he only points out the law to the driver and requests to place the license on the windscreen. If you really do not know the situation please stop exaggerating saying things like corruption, bribe, etc.
Never mind the Rain u boys made the best of it. both my grandparents owned tea plantations so I know what it's like. A very good video for those who have not been to a tea plantation.enjoy boys.

The restaurant with the view and the generous portions of food was delightful! When I was in Bali many years ago, we stopped at a random restaurant when we were visiting a volcano and the view was incredible! Very similar to what you shared in this video. I wouldn’t consider this the unluckiest day in Siri Lanka. Aside from the weather I would consider being in the middle of all those tea plantations pretty awesome and somewhat overwhelming. In Sri Lanka it is inside the windscreen which this driver did not display. The Police Officer is doing his job and he is doing it right. I get charged a fee if the registration info is not disaplayed. If it is corruption, every Western nation is corrupt to the core too. I mean, you have to pay a yearly fee to hold a driver's license even in Europe. That driver lied to you guys.
