I can't even imagine making that climb! When I was in Hong Kong, my best friend and I went to Lantau Island to see the Big Buddha (I think that's what it's called?) and holy moly, those were some crazy steps but it was nothing like what you've conquered here! The views were beautiful and I can't believe the palace that was built on top of that rock! Wow! It sounds like Sameer was a great tour guide/driver for you! So glad you got to experience as much of Sri Lanka as possible! I don't know if I can pick a favourite video from this trip...I liked them all! Haha Looking forward to seeing your travels in Saudi Arabia! Stay safe!

OMG those stairs gave me serious Angkor Wat flashbacks- I was kind of glad the more steep ones were closed when I went, because there was no way I'd climb up or down them. Sigiriya is gorgeous!!! :D

Awsome adventure guys. Sri Lanka is such a cool country with an amazing history. Love how the wild life are free to roam at leisure and the iconic landmarks are absolutely beautiful. So sigiriya is definitely a go to place for travel and one of the historical places where things like paintings in Sigiriya are very important and have a long history even more impressive is the view at the end of the hike. Can't wait for the next tour.
A lady fell as she was getting out of a bus in London. My friend looked out of the window and said “cheap shoes”. Everyone in the bus laughed loudly. Luckily the lady wasn’t hurt. Great video guys.

It is so crazy to see it so empty! We went just about a month before you guys and it was PACKED (we, rather stupidly, went on a public holiday.) It's quite scary when there are hundreds or other folks coming up those stairs!

When I visited in 1990 - they didn’t have the stairs - it was like your earlier hike up the side of the rock. Scary!
