THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!❤ Sorry for this messy vlog😣The second half especially reflects how chaotic things got...😅 If you're new here, we're Oskar & Dan, two Swedish boys of 24 who decided to drop out of college to pursue our goal of visiting all 197 countries on the planet🌍 We're able to do so thanks to the money we make from UA-cam (Dan has a bigger channel called Nonstop Dan) and Oskar is also a music composer. You can check out his stuff on Spotify, Apple Music, or anywhere else you listen to music as “Oskar Kappland.” We're so grateful that you're here to follow our journey around the world! I believe you arrived during the period where the U.K. border force were processing thousands of Afghan refugees due to the US withdrawal causing a crisis so there were only a handful of officers for normal arrivals. The lifts down to Heathrow Express are automatic and have no buttons. You simply wait for one to show. It may take a minute but it’s always the fastest way to the platform.
That mess at the airport gives me SUCH anxiety! Don’t know how you do it! I love that as you travel you seamlessly integrate LGBTQ highlights as a normal part of your travels and not focus solely on it. THANK YOU! Great job as always!
Sitting down in the aircraft for a further 50 minutes, and then a walking queue for another 40 minutes, and you don't know how they do it? They're both fit 24 year olds, for heaven's sake. Nobody wants a delay, but you must be living a cosseted life, if similar misfortune always by-passes you...........
You know it’s a great video when you’re feeling the same emotions i.e stress, excitement, frustration - as you’re watching. And feel down when you reach the end because you want more. As I recall similar experiences in Heathrow which I avoid if I can…Oskar’s Spanish is so good - he’s a natural.
Oh, you made Madrid even more lovely than I remembered - but cannot imagine Madrid w/o the Prado... WOW! You burst my loving Heathrow bubble. On the other hand, JAMIE is one of only 2 shows I ever walked out - decided I'd already seen the rest of it. I call it Everybody's Talking About The Spring Awakening of Priscilla Eliot's Birdcage.
I felt your anxiety from the first shot of those purple transfer signs in London Heathrow! So glad you still got to enjoy your musical in London and make your way back to grandma 🥰
40 mins through Heathrow is FAST! I always reckon that an hr+half reasonable and wouldn’t dream of booking to do something for 4 hrs post arrival for the usual delays!
Everyone’s Talking About Jamie is an amazing show! Kind of concerned to see that not a lot of people were wearing masks in London! Yikes! Thanks for posting another great video! Safe travels!!!
Very impressive Oscar and your Spanish. I am Spanish speaking living in USA 🇺🇸 florida and let me tell you (perfect) bravo 👏. I love your trips everywhere
Actually, including the frustrations along the way adds relevance and value to the vlog. It can’t always be a smooth ride. I have had to connect at Heathrow twice on trips in the past four years and it was chaotic both times.
Thank you for sharing your horrendous travel day to London and the nightmare that is Heathrow. I'm sorry that you had to suffer through that airport and getting to your hotel. Honestly, I would have a breakdown. So happy you were able to salvage the evening out by seeing the musical JAMIE. It's supposed to be coming to LA soon.
Great video Guys. No need for apologies as you are just telling it like it is. I never realised Madrid is such an attractive city, somewhere else YOU GUYS have put on my go to list. 🛫
Yeah apologies for the state of Heathrow and London airport’s in general. They are crazy and insane. Glad you guys had a good time in London, Madrid and Casablanca. And yes, London is crazily and insanely busy at the moment.
I always love your joint travel videos. I'm sad that Heathrow just seems to be heading downhill. I'd love to take you both to dinner if you find yourselves in the UK with more time.
It's fun to watch you guys, you inspire my partner and me to undertake such travels together, and you resemble a little to two of us when we move around. This video is funnily laced with advertisements of Apple Iphone, that's a little too much :p
Hey you guys were right next to my neighbourhood! I can't believe you had breakfast at La Libre. I remember when they opened that place over ten years ago. xD I used to go there all the time (until the tourists discovered it and it became obscenely expensive. ;)) You definitely found one of the most chill places in the city to have breakfast! Also "Is this typical?" "No, it's vegan." Gotta love Ángel, telling it like it is. xD I've only had two Heathrow experiences and they were more than enough for a lifetime, and that was before the pandemic. I flew between Madrid and New York direct a couple of times without incident, so I remember being shocked the time I went through Heathrow and ran into the utter chaos, the endless queues, the surly personnel. "You can't get off your planes because our queues are too long" really does have to take the cake, though. xD
Remember, kids: your most chaotic travel day _so far_ Oh how I love my Bimini stans! 😂 Don't worry, it was quite a nice video even with all the chaos towards the end. I love the soundtrack and the vibe, especially. And Madrid??? It cannot possibly be a bad video if you have Madrid in it. Such a gorgeous city, with all that food, culture, and THE ARCHITECTURE??? Chef's kiss. On another note, though: were you guys not scared of dozing off at the musical after such a stressful day? I would 100% shut down after going though all of that. But I'm glad it seemed to have worked out fine for you! Hope you enjoyed it.
Haha, yes we're bound to have a few more of these and worse ;) RELEASE THE BEAST! And the musical actually helped energize us haha, we were probably running on pure adrenaline...!
I've got back to London from Paris on the 11th of October Monday morning, I was on the tube within 20 minutes I have landed. Got back to London from Milan on the same week the 17th of October Sunday late evening, the very same queue were waiting for me...
I always look forward to the next installment! Heading to the UK with the family in December, so very interesting to see the chaos through your eyes. Thank you! Try the 12 grapes followed by the 3 tablespoonfuls of cooked, but unseasoned lentils some people also have here in Chile for New Year! By the way, perhaps dissolving the sugar in the hot coffee would be better than pouring the sugar over the ice! 😂😂😂 Also, what a beautifully clear arrival into the UK… Felt quite nostalgic watching you walk through the streets of London, since that’s where I grew up.How was the musical?
Nice video as usual! Looked quite busy at London eh? Wondering what the best/worse times of the day/week to arrive in Heathrow? And is Gatwick less busy? Thank you!
This actually didn't feel stressful while watching, but it sure made me miss traveling! I had an hour long immigration line in pre-pandemic Heathrow. Seeing the line you guys encountered was fun to watch, but I would not want to experience it.
Hey Dan. Hope you're getting on OK with the Accutane. I've been on it for over 20 yrs now. Just a homeopathic dose. Love your videos. I've got Portugal in 2 weeks. So excited first trip in 2.5 years yayyyyy!!!
As a Brit it's a tad embarrassing how we can fuck stuff up like the immigration queues, but you have to remember it's the busiest airport in Europe. I guess on the plus side except NY no one does theatre like London so that's on your side.
Yeah guys, I felt anxious just watching your time in LHR. Methinks I should avoid this airport in the short- to medium-term. Oh, and I can see why Covid19 is increasing in the UK 🙄
I can sympathise with your experiences at London. I make a regular journey which is served directly from Heathrow. No doubt you will now appreciate why I chose to fly from another airport with a connection in either Germany, or Switzerland!
Pro tip - apply Vaseline on and around your lips before applying accutane, this way it won't spread to the lip area and voila no more dry /rubbery lips :) I use the same technique. P.S. Love your videos guys
Did you have to do that lateral flow test for being in the UK or no because you were only there one day. I’m confused about how you are supposed to order this ahead of your flight but then pick it up there. As I looked online it just seemed unnecessarily complicated to choose the location/company you want to order the test from and not easily visible as to where you can pick it up. I’m hoping someone here in the comments has some info to share. I plan to fly from nyc and stay in London for 5 days so I know you have to take it after the second day but the links provided from official up gov and travel sites have been unnecessarily confusing so I wonder if I’m missing a good/east website
Nice video! While it was hectic, you guys handled everything very well. Also, your Spanish is good. How are you learning Spanish? Btw, I wish I was in New York to meet you guys. You’ll have to come to Texas in the future.
Hey guys, yes I’m not looking forward to Heathrow on my return from visiting family in the USA. What was the name of the restaurant that you mentioned when you were out near the Tesco on the way to the play? Safe travels 🙂 cheers
a) I absolutely love you guys and your reports! b) I thought I was imagining something, but why is the bar at the theatre called the American Airlines Bar?
It looks like American Airlines are paying to sponsor the theatres bar. Theatres are obviously keen for all possible revenue streams particularly after being hammered by the pandemic.
Don't you love London prices? Wow, seems London is over COVID. Last time I flew into Heathrow it was a shit show as well, but London is expensive but fun at the same time so it is what it is.
I once had to fly from Italy to Hungary then to Russia and finally to Japan, a total of 24 h on planes and airports just because a flight was cancelled last minute. I almost died, would not recommend it to anyone, almost circling the globe like that.
Nice Madrid views. It´s a lot of complaining at the end, but i still like your videos :P even though travelling in Corona-times isn´t fun and Brexit :(
Actually this video didn’t come off as hectic, especially in Spain. The hectic was definitely at Heathrow. Btw, my husband is a professional photographer and he uses iPhone 12 Pro Max for some of his videos. It works better than some cameras. Your quality is great and I really enjoy your videos and your very cool adventures ❤️👍✈️

The sign of a mature approach to normalise LGBTQ. Just part of normal life. Totally agree with your comment.

Wow, you can just about see HMP High Down at 13:14 by the engine. Thought it looked familiar!
Love you guys! You are so fun and positive💚 Thank you for taking us on your adventures!
Thanks for coming along!❤️
Heathrow reminds me of O'Hare. You could be on the plane for 50 minutes after landing taxiing and waiting for gates.
Morocco miss u guys💜..we looove u sooo much..... And welcome another time in it.🇲🇦
Just found your channel. Very funny and I love how you show the travel stress.
Good morning loves. I hope I get to go to Madrid one day. It looks beautiful their. Good content. Safe travels
Thanks Irma!
I was just in Madrid over the summer. Such an amazing city! That and Seville were my favorite cities in Spain.
Literally...just doing what you went through takes GUTS...and watching you gives more power...💪♥️♥️
