I love the grand hotel, I’m half Sri Lankan, I couldn’t sleep it was when I was 22 and I scared myself by walking around the hotel in the middle of the night. I live in the US, but when my son visited with my parents 2x last year the staff loved him and he owned the place😂

As a Brit living in Devon the home of cream tea it's amusing watching you eat scones. You cut the scone in half then put cream first then jam. Depending on whether you are from Devon or Cornwall will dictate whether you put jam then cream or cream then jam. It is clotted cream although the cream in the video looked more like whipped than clotted but it is Sri Lanka. I think you did a very good job in your video. I'd love the Sri Lankan curry. Loved your video on Baghdad. I love iraq. Very special people. Please show more on Iraq the people deserve our attention.

Thank you for a comprehensive tour of this iconic hotel in Sri Lanka. The lady guide was very knowledgeable. It is good to see that they have preserved the colonial history of this impressive building. I remember having a wonderful lunch here some years ago with my wife.
I have been here ... seriously it is one of the best.. Its crazy how clean they keep the place... they even wipe the lamp shades like on a daily basis I think.
I am a Sri Lankan and I have visited grand hotel too I love that hotel so much ..but I guess you better visit the top area.. and the swimming pool is like a hot tub you can visit so much there Welcome to Sri lanka😊😊😊
Great video! But next time, try the scones with the jam and cream together (either jam first and then cream or vice versa - in the UK there are big debates about which way around you should put it on!) and you can easily slice the scone with a knife. Enjoy 😋
