Bought a set of these as well. Feel light and cheap, but sound and work great. At $50, I’ll just buy another set when they die. Very pleased with them. No noticeable delay, and no interference.
I have one of these and another black one branded "Lekato". They work well. Occasional dropouts occur, but not enough to be a problem for me. The coverage is definitely not 300ft. It's more like 30ft in my experience. Well worth the price though.
Joni: Thanks a ton for the tip on the frequency range for these Ammoon units. Those are clearly the latest ones from Ammoon, featuring both the 5.8ghz band as well as the swiveling head. Previously, Ammoon was using a fixed jack unit - these would obviously protrude horribly from any guitar input output jack and on some guitars like my Ibanez S series and newer JS series, those fixed units would stick out. In the case of the S series, they might not even fit or for sure would impede movement of the whammy arm. Not a pro musician by any means but I am transitioning to these kinds of wireless units. My first one was the Xvive U2 and while the U2 does have a swiveling head, the jack itself is housed in a very large "neck" and made it impossible to use with my S series guitars - it just wouldn't fit. I ended up having to have a very short male to female mono cord made so I could plug the cord into the S guitar and then plug the U2 into the female side, securing it like a traditional guitar wireless pack to my strap. It works OK for those S series guitars. The second one I have is the Harley Benton system, which appears to be an identical rebrand of the NUX wireless system. The HB unit is MUCH sleeker and has no issues at all fitting in any output jack for all the guitars I have. A much more elegant solution than the Xvive U2 for me. Thanks to your review, I am pulling the trigger on these impossibly cheap Ammoon v2 units - that whole 5.8ghz thing seems absolutely ideal and from the looks of your vid [one of the very few on youtube of these v2 Ammoon devices], I should have no issues fitting it on my Ibanez S or JS series guitars. Anyway, sorry for word vomit - just wanted to share my experience with a couple of these types of devices thus far. Look forward to checking out these Ammoon v2 things. Cheers and thanks again! UPDATE: I stand corrected - the ones here in this vid might actually be better thought of as Ammoon's v3 version. There appears to have been an intermediate unit that also swivels, but that one has housings that look enormous. So these v3 Ammoon's really look like the way to go.
They can be reliable but what you are paying for the higher end ones is realiability, ability to change batteries (no major big bands use rechargeable ones, they use AA batteries so swapping is easy) and low latency, can be as low as 2ms while the cheaper ones are over 5ms. Not a deal breaker as 5ms is already low enough but if you want to cable like latency then the higher end ones can provide that. also, in terms of size there are ones that fit the pedal board, the ones you cited are mostly rack mounted wireless systems, board ones like the line 6 G series like the G30, G50 are fairly small. or the boss WL-50, WL60. lots of options are out there and i think your assessment on the high end ones being bulky and big may be a bit unfair.
are these better tham the xvibe? ive had cut out with those at the park. , Where there was a lot of people maybe there was a lot of cell phone interference
@@elansleazebaganno I doubt that. A few of those specifically mention that they work for both active and passive, some mention that they only work for passive, and some do not state anything at all. But I don't really know anything about it myself.
I'm trying to figure out how to work them out with my monitor2usb Behringer device, and my Adam Audio monitors. Seems it doesn't work. Maybe I'm missing something.
I have purchased 3 pairs of these (one is for piano keyboard, and the others will be for 2 guitars). I've tested each pair, and all work well. If I want to use all three pairs at the same time (into either one amp, separate amps, or a mixer), will I need to set a different "channel" on each pair. I'm afraid I don't understand much about 'channels' - are they definitely needed when using more than one pair at once, or are they just for use when trying to overcome interference, etc ?). Thanks to anyone who can help. Les Johnson (York, UK).
Les Johnson I would not recommend these for line level devices like a keyboard. I would look into the Boss wireless system instead, the one specifically for line devices. I did a review on the guitar version, and explained the line version.
@@priyonjoni Thanks for that tip Pri. Regarding using two pairs at once (eg one for a guitar and the other for a bass guitar), do I need to worry about setting each pair to its own separate "channel" ?
Hi! Does this work with wireless headphone? My husband is a guitarist and he wants something that can connect to his wireless headphones and his guitar! Help please I need it before Christmaxx! Thanks
No it does not. You need an amp or guitar processor, and from there you could plug headphones. And if these are Bluetooth headphones, the latency (digital lag) will make it impossible to play.
I buy the blackwing wirless. And they way under powered in volume to a normal guitar lead. Also with overdrive they make a big hissing noise also flat in 3 hours. So if u going to demo something do it correctly.
No it doesn’t. Active guitars have a higher output and will clip with these. I recommend the Boss ones for those. There’s a specific transmitter for active pickups.
Pau Isidro no latency that is noticeable or will affect playing. Some people will say, they notice a delay when they get farther from their amp. That’s not latency, that the speed of sound traveling when you get far.
That's great news, thank you both. Even if it is a distortion problem it can be solved by lowering the volume knob. I was thinking that it could do something with 9v dc current in the active basses.

Nice review but, do they work well with active pickups too.

Kolchak357 exactly what I did. Bought a couple of them.

I just bought this set and they work so great.
ken phillips glad to hear!
Thank you for answering that simple question . Because this video was a waste of time .
I bought one and I love it.
Brought a set for my bass rig they work great love buying another set for backup for 44 buck you can’t beat it
Bought a Getaria 5.8 system for $55 free ship. For a in ear monitor system. Works great using them backwards with a headphone amp. Apr 21
I was worried about the wifi issue as well and was also looking for one that fits well in my strat. Thanks.
It's great on all my guitars. I like the 5 megahertz.
Thank u for your honesty

I fixed the battery issue by buying two sets 🤷🏽♂️
@@priyonjoni Or just recharge in-between sets.

It says 4 channels. How does it work. Can one receiver -receives singanls from another transmitter with the same brand.
Can I use those with my acoustic (western) guitar with battery driven pickup or only with an electric guitar?
Of course. This, and any guitar system, will work with any 1/4" jack.

Yes, works with my active pickups Cole Clark FL3AC

can you compare this into an Aroma ARG-05 wireless system?
Lekato WS-50 has 5.8GHz and looks like the same type of model you own. Maybe they are made by the same company?
They are the same device, just rebranded
How is the battery life? I need something that works turned on for 3 hours at least
Álvaro Ruiz Ruiz I commonly have it running for 4 hours with no problem from a full charge
Test them out to a normal guitar lead. See if the same volume. And try with distortion see if clear
Is it normal for the transmitter's battery to last less than the receiver's? The receiver's battery lasts twice as long, more or less
Yes. The transmitter usually does first. I usually can use it up to 4 hours.
so they dont work with active pickups?
Whats d button (at d back) for? any1 pls. Thnx
Longpress to rescan/reconnect
I will like to see a similar product for wireless headphone for deejaying...
LMAO at the t-shirt! haha good one man.

Sorry to hear what's going on. But I did not demo the Blackwing Wireless kit.
@@priyonjoni yes I no. Did you compare a normal guitar lead to the ammon to see if the same volume. Thk
Is it repairable? As we all know the tip of the jack is the usual problem.. after so many plug in and out it will loosen
Robby Alejar for how much it costs, I would simply buy a new one. That’s why I own two pairs.
Is good o very sick?
i want to see similar product to this but its gonna be connected from my mixer to my PA Speakers....
yumyumrazon i don’t recommend wireless for anything other than instruments, microphones, or in ear monitors.
The link shows a $63 price tag instead of $44.
K W the price has gone up since this video was posted.
Dude your hands never stop moving 🤣🤣🤣
That's why I prefer having an instrument in them.
Will this work well on bass???
Yes, but with a caveat. Only passive basses will work. Bass with active pickups won't work since the signal is much stronger.
Do they work with acoustic guitars instead of using the long cords?
They should
How long does the battery charge at full charge?
Patrick Pozato under an hour, maybe even 30s. I’ve never timed it.
@@priyonjoni but one full charge can works how much time?
@@TheVaca11 like 4 to 5 hours I think
Test the volume to a guitar lead
