The Courage Lies Within You Project is a partnership between the University of Alabama at Birmingham Departments of Music and History where 12 short films and 12 short premiere compositions were commissioned based on notable historical figures from the State of Alabama. This piece, based on helicopter pilot and hero of My Lai, Hugh Clowers Thompson, was composed by William Price and performed live by the UAB Chamber Trio (James Zingara, trumpet, Denise Gainey, clarinet, and Chris Steele, piano).
