What a session!!! Great to see the cod finally back on the old spawning grounds in numbers!!! And this late/early in the year/season can only mean 1 thing 😎👍... gotta give it to you rhys,you certainly put the effort in, you earn every fish you catch,great work lads cracking video
To help stop your tripod from going over with wind or weed etc try filling a carrier bag with stones and hang it from the hook on your tripod it makes them rock solid Love your vids keep at it chap

I was fishing there and a guy was throwing a ball for his black Labrador to retrieve this was a flat calm day and the dog was having a bad time trying to get out of the water the guy started to panic and was about to go in after it but people shouted at him that the undertow would claim his life . thankfully the dog made it out to everyone's relief.great days fishing chaps 👍 I like this beach but the cost to get there and parking is getting stupid not to mention the thiefs who rob the cars when you are fishing 🎣
Rule number 1 of sea fishing and 1 my father taught me as a kid - don't ever turn your back on the sea. The amount of roque waves iv seen and been hit by sometimes out of nowhere is unreal, sure most anglers have had their near miss and as we have seen lately sometimes in end in death.
Said it b4 and I'll say it again, I've got to fish Chesil beach it's definitely on my bucket list thanks to your channel cuz you've pulled some belting fish off that beach.
Chesil and portland ones are the worst as they are 24hr charges... the other are free 6pm-8am but still cost just as much 🤣 its easier and cheaper to actually taxi from spot to spot 🤣
id love to fish chesil but im elderly and disabled ,i could not afford to pay that much for parking ,mind you i have a blue badge but do i still have to pay ,i dont know as ive never been there to park or to fish.
I have been caught in the undertow there, still here but it wasn't a nice experience and I won't be risking it again. That beach is evil, like Dungeness on steroids.
I've got to say !! More codling come out from chesil In August and September than the winter months ! Sadly as next week the weather looks good chesil will get smashed by trawlers ! Always love your posts and so happy you had a awesome session on the beach off dreams / nightmares!
The place where I used to fish (Bristol channel battery point portishead) the tide can reach 50 feet ! So try and get a guide with local knowledge .lots of places around Britain the coast can look very inviting to swim or wade out in but every year lives are lost .on the upside if you can make friends with most anglers hear I am sure you can have a memorable time if you could offer to help show a angler on vacation to the USA tips and techniques I am sure you can have a friend for life 😁

Woah £120+ before you even started fishing, I understand the bait ain't cheap and if you want to fish a certain mark you have no choice but to use fuel, £2 an hour for parking is absolutely disgusting!!!! It's 👎 as if your in the city where parking is limited (or is it a popular spot where £20 for 10 hours is expected because its a popular area? Either way its Still parking using a tiny amount of space imagine if rent worked like that the economy would collapse.
