I am thinking that the book page that has the empty space where the butterfly was punched out, could have some acetate or vellum paper on the back to use as a pocket so that whatever is in that pocket would throw through. The edge of the cutout could be inked or accented with a marking pen or water colors.

Oh my Pam these are beautiful. Now I “need” a 3” or larger punch lol. I’m thinking for now however to maybe use my butterfly stencil, trace it onto paper then fussy cut it, OR I also have a cool Fiskars cutter that cuts around thicker stencils inside them and that’ll totally work too. If not the heart works too as you showed OR i may even have a couple of butterfly cutouts that are the same that I can try it too. I can’t wait to try these. Thanks for yet another cool video! Btw I couldn’t tell a difference whatsoever in your voice honestly! Oh and p.s. sometimes I hear “sunny’s voice” and I’m totally convinced it’s him talking, I get right into using my imagination haha, call me crazy but ya know.....😂. Hugs from Ontario

I remember my mom's pinking shears and using on anything other than fabric was a no no. Now I have scissors with decorative edges...including pinking shears. 🥰 Adding punches to my list of what to add to my JJ supplies. Thank you for sharing your expertise. I do have a question...when did you do the cover on this journal? It looks like it's three dimensional. ❤️❤️❤️
