First, I want to thank UA-cam to give me the ability to see, hear & learn things I once dreamed of. Daily I am amazed & I hope to be amazed for life. Thank you. This is the first time I heard Herb Ellis play. Amazing dexterity & melodic mind go very well. Great solo. Also, I am grateful to Mr.Francois Leduc superb note for note, chords, diagrams of chords & music notation, make your transcriptions a wealth of knowledge that would take months to learn. Thank you. SL
Had the pleasure of hearing this gentleman at a local college many yrs ago. Pure contentment.

Another one from the great Herb Ellis! The intro and outro is played freely so please excuse my rhythm notation, I've done my best to make all those notes fit into bars and keep a certain logic between his interpretation and the standard tune. There's also a little skip at 4:41 I don't know but there might be some notes missing.... anyway it's ok that way too. Cheers!

Francois, the work you do is amazing, and an important contribution to jazz guitar. You do not get enough credit for this.
Thanks, for all your time and commitment in providing these transcripts.

Herb is the best!
Yesssssss
George Benson à sa bonne époque cela change quand même c’est là qu’on voit que c’est très grand guitariste beaucoup plus que sur ses tubes
The 2nd chord (bar 3) is a C6/9 (#11). A on the G string, not Bb.
True, I will correct it in my documents, thanks
Yep!
Precios! !

Extraordinario Herb!! 🙇♂️
how to hell does a human play that c911 chord on the first page I'm amazed lol
True you need extra finger. I'm checking some old pics of Herb to see if he did.
