@@Angela_J0607 Yeah but she’s been found and HLN and CNN are still talking about the case and having tv specials. We will probably only hear about Jelani’s case online and the mainstream media will only skim the surface of this case and then never mention it again. Sad but not surprising.
The fbi doesn’t just join investigations unless federal laws were broken, the investigating agency would have to request their help
She was found in a federal park plus the case involves multiple states that is why the FBI got involved.
I wish as black people that we were cared about and not overlooked so more people can help find Jelani because we already know police don’t care and will slowly give up. 🥺

If the body is UNidentified, why didn’t the police have her come to view it to see if it is her son or not? I don't begrudge the amount of publicity some missing persons receive, but it's frustrating when other missing persons don't receive nearly the same amount of publicity. Jelani deserves to be found. This sweet woman deserves to have her son back.
I had never heard of Gabby Petito . She’s literally everywhere!! But Jelani Day, I remember a few retweets and maybe news covered locally in IL But there’s been no coverage on the east coast. I could only imagine the heartache she feels. 🥺 please God, bring him home !

@@Angela_J0607 you’re right, a lot of people only care about trending cases, but my point here is a lot of these cases go unnoticed unless it’s brought to media & when it is, it’s almost always white girls/women, but black people and people color always have to fight to get some sort of help from authorities or coverage & it shouldn’t be that way, but unfortunately it is. honestly, that was something never realized until my early college years & it was actually one of my white friends that made me realize it & also watching Kendall Rae’s channel who admitted that black ppl/people of color cases aren’t taken as seriously and don’t get the same amount of help/coverage.
ask yourself, when was the last time in the last few years they covered a trending case *without* people on social media platforms forcing their hand to shed light on it OR without starting a race war.....really think about that.

Whoever this person was, they have a pattern. There was another unidentified body?! That is a clue. He either knew there person or this person appears approachable. Plain sight and had knowledge of camera placement. No sign of struggle/blood in his car is telling. Also has knowledge of wooded areas in Peru, Illinois. I pray that his family is comforted. There are clues. Jelani IS someone and is NOT forgotten about. This person seems not to care and wants to get caught. Who was the other person's body that they found and how did they die?
