Biden dominating the Popular Vote by a 7m vote margin in 2020, if just a "few" of the key swing States' results had been slightly more favorable for Trump, even by less than a margin of 1 point, Trump could have won the Presidency by winning the Electoral College. The problem is not the EC, it's the underlying disproportionate representation in the US Senate. If you insist on fixing the EC, simply take two votes away from each State.

The problem for me is that we're not getting consistent polling from reliable pollsters. Even more, I have to question how many younger voters actually pick up the phone for numbers that they don't recognize. I am not that young anymore, but even I don't answer for unknown callers because I know that's usually just a scammer on the other line.

It’s very true that Trump voters were undercounted in 16 and 20. But it’s also true that Dobbs voters - those voting against Republicans because of the Dobbs ruling - were undercounted in 22. The reason that there wasn’t a red wave in 22 was because of Dobbs voters; and these were undercounted at about the same percentage as Trump voters were, 2%.

The problem for me is that we're not getting consistent polling from reliable pollsters. Even more, I have to question how many younger voters actually pick up the phone for numbers that they don't recognize. I am not that young anymore, but even I don't answer for unknown callers because I know that's usually just a scammer on the other line.
That's the thing, younger voters, who are generally blue anyway, don't really care to do these polls. I am pretty sure a good percentage of younger voters now are making this blue.
Plus, if a person is recently registered, a voter may not even be on pollster's phone list.

It’s very true that Trump voters were undercounted in 16 and 20. But it’s also true that Dobbs voters - those voting against Republicans because of the Dobbs ruling - were undercounted in 22. The reason that there wasn’t a red wave in 22 was because of Dobbs voters; and these were undercounted at about the same percentage as Trump voters were, 2%.
This is the key. I dont buy any of the polls because of Dobs. If you're in a sunbelt state with an abusive boyfriend who worships the Orange guy, you're going to do everything in your power to protect yourself.
