    I have the feeling he may have started trying to be innapropriate with Taylor and that's why the mum went off at him - he sounds a bit infatuated with her from how much he mentions her in the interrogation and how he says she liked him so much (possibly a case of can't have mum so daughter is the next best thing).
    He also cut off Taylor's hair and took it with him, and put all the bodies in Taylor's bed. She was also the only one whose face he covered when killing her (usually a sign of shame when they cover a face).

      Seriously, some of the commentary on these interrogation videos is ridiculous. The problem is that it's all done in hindsight. No matter what the guy does, they'll find some narrative that makes it seem like he's acting guilty. If he sits still - guilty behaviour. If he moves around and acts anxious - guilty behaviour. If he blinks - guilty. Doesn't blink? super guilty.
      I've watched a lot of these interrogations and I'd have to put George at the top of my list for most convincing acts. Nothing he did made him seem particularly guilty until he confessed.

      This is actually strangely the first one of these that I watched where I actually get it. As in I get why people would be on his side. Yeah, he's violent, yeah he's obviously dangerous...but he doesn't seem to try and manipulate or lie nearly as much as most other suspects. Sure he lied through the first part of the interview. But then he came out and admitted it himself, without prompting. It seemed like he genuinely wanted the cigarette first to calm him down enough to say it, and that's why he was asking for it so much; he'd already made up his mind to admit it after he'd had his smoke. He seems less of a manipulative sociopath and more simply someone who has made bad choices, slipped into a hole and had no idea how to get out of it, so gave up on himself and the world in general that day. And people like that are easy to want to help.

    • @andrewsparkes6275
      @andrewsparkes6275 10 місяців тому +2

      For context to my last reply: Just before watching this one, I watched the one about the woman killing that guy for money and making her husband dig a hole on the guy's property to bury him in, and then the one where the 20yo was making previous false claims of burglary to create plausible deniability to cover up later killing his girlfriend's mother. Those ones were far more manipulative and narcisstic. This guy seems more honest about everything, and just needed to get himself calm enough to admit it. As the detective said to the 20yo to show just how bad the 20yo was (paraphrased): "You're just a bad person as you've lied through multiple interviews to throw us off the case. Good people can have a bad day or a whole bad life that leads them to do a bad thing, and they may try to wriggle out of it as first when they're panicking, but those people usually admit to it soon enough and show regret and remorse as soon as possible. You didn't and that's why you're one of the most evil people out there." And this guy just seems like that second sort of person the policeman wanted the 20yo to be.

That made the list moments of those kids the worst moments of their lives.... The only worse person than a child killer to me is someone that sexually abused children. To have to protect people like that from the public and other inmates knowing the whole time what they've done. Especially the officers that have to see the evidence, if there are photos videos etc someone has to go through all of them. Every single one. To have the job must be the most soul sucking thing in the fucking world. Especially if you have children yourself. Christ.
      I'd be too tempted to give the parent(s) of the victim a few minutes with the asshole somewhere without cameras and let them handle it. Or at the least look the other way and allow prison justice to prevail. It takes less than three minutes for someone to be in, handle it and get out. And boom, no more issues.

I suppose you’re here so they probably are, but are there certain channels you find better than others? Are there major differences between the insight of the commentators and what you would likely be thinking when you’re actually investigating a case?

    Thank you..❤️☘️

    • @mommy2libras
      @mommy2libras Рік тому +22

      That's probably because there was nothing wrong with his arm, it was his hand that was broken- the 5th metacarpal if I remember anatomy correctly. He'd be careful, holding it up while entering the area so as not to accidentally bang his hand on anything- like the chair backs- while getting to where he would sit. But once sitting down, he'd have no issue moving the arm itself because the arm isn't hurt at all. Once you're in a space you get used to being conscious of your injured part and moving it within that space. Sitting there, he's not really in danger of bumping his hand on anything because there's nothing to hit. Except maybe the tabletop and you'll notice his rest his arm and even his hand on it gently or touch his face with his injured hand but as l9ng as he doesn't put pressure on that end- the pinky end of his hand- it wouldn't hurt.
      I can tell you that what looks like a "small fracture" on a hand or foot still hurts like hell, especially if you bump something with it. People looking at an x-ray might think "oh, it's just a crack, no big deal" but bones aren't supposed to have cracks. And his was broken through and actually offset a bit. I broke the last bone in the top/side of my foot a few years ago and some days that joker still hurts for what seems like no reason. Same with that exact same bone in my hand- I broke it by wracking a doorframe when I was just walking through one day. I waited a week to see a doctor and it was still super swollen and painful. Broken. That was 20 years ago and I still have days where it just starts to throb. But that's because when you hit your 40s, every injury you've ever had, especially the ones that you thought "weren't so bad" in your 20s, come back to visit on a rotating basis.
