Amazing. You can here him stumble over his own words, mispronouncing some and getting his grammar a little off and it’s 100% because of how exhausted he is. What stopped her from running out the door was fear.....
What a sick statement to make.
The fear Heather was experiencing was 100x worse than what Emelia could have been feeling in that moment. And she had no CHOICE but to give up her fight & be forcefully pushed through deaths door by that monster. Im sure her last moments were filled with fear of many forms. Fear for her children, never seeing them again, them on this planet without her AND leaving them on it with their dad.. a man who is holding her down & letting his girlfriend unalive her. Fear that this is the last day of her short life, fear she will never see her family again, fear shes about to go suddenly, brutally, & prematurely into the afterlife which 75% of people are scared of, for good reason.
I feel for her sweet poor babies. I feel for her family. And im ashamed at law enforcement that could have prevented this, just from hearing that ONE call she made to Josh in jail. This poor woman was counting down the days until he was released, knowing this makeshift angel of death would be coming for her SOON. Living in fear every moment of everyday. I don't want to hear about Emelias fear. She deserves the d3ath penalty she got.

Even that seemed like ploy to make it look like she asking for an attorney so a judge could throw her statements out in court.
I saw a case where a serial killer was being interrogated and quietly said, “man, I really should’ve gotten an attorney,” and then proceeded to admit to all his murders, but once he got to court, the judge threw out his admission because she considered his statement as him requesting an attorney. There was no evidence against him other than his testimony so he was about to get away with the murders, but unfortunately for him, while in jail waiting for his court date, one of the victims sisters wrote him asking why he killed her sister and he wrote her back admitting to her murder which was then used against him in court.

Damn man, you can tell this chick can twist and manipulate everyone around her in her everyday life. The way she does the "situational minimizing" of details that end up being a complete reversal of her prior statement is probably super effective on people that aren't expecting to be lied to. But she's probably never had to do this with someone that is actually in the major leagues like a homicide detective. It so painfully obvious that he instantly catches her manipulation but she's so invested into it she can't even tell. It's a good thing that most criminals are also total idiots.

This chick is scary. She has no problem straight up lying to someone’s face, then admit to the truth, then 3 months later look that detective in the face and expect him to believe she gave a false confession. What she did was try to give the old “I admitted under duress, I really wasn’t there, and I have people that will testify that Josh has been bragging about how he did everything and was going to kill her ex husband as well.” Wow! She is as cold as the grave.

I watch a lot of murder investigations, as I’m sure 99% of this channels viewers do as well. This particular woman is every bit as chilling to listen to as I have witnessed. Up there with the creepiest. The detective was very, very good.

@@moodyriver6673 I agree. I can’t imagine a woman like this having children. Poor kids!

I wonder why she picked her ex to be his potential victim. That doesn’t even make sense. She is grasping at straws when there are no straws to be grabbed. 💀

Yet he pointed out she admitted to it to her friend so how was that under duress?

She obviously has positively no idea how freaking hard it is to get a conviction overturned. Even for those that *actually are* wrongfully convicted

Excellent interrogator. Maintains total control at every single step along the way. He should be teaching a clinic.
