thank you so much for this!! I have lots of boxes laying around filled with pressed flowers but I never know what to do with them, this really helped. I'm also definitely gonna try the garland.
Could you please do an informative video on which plants are the best for pressed flowers? I know there's probably a ton out there, but your voice is relaxing and it makes it easier to hear you for long periods of time.
Thanks for pointing this out to me! I am working on a piece of art right know that involves pressed flowers and also some journals I will put pressed flowers into and I'd be happy to include some flower pressing advice into those videos. For now: I've found that roses are a bit difficult to press because they are so thick, so it's better to thin them out or not press them for long because of mold Fleabane is good to press as it is small and thin Any thin flowers are good to press
Helloo :) i am new to the channel and absolutely love all your videos! i got inspired by your creations and i am currently pressing my own flowers. i wish you the best and have a good day :)))
Oh no! So sorry - I must have forgotten to say to make sure they are dry first!!! I hung mine upside down in front of my window for a long time before putting them in the jar. Thanks for pointing this out!
As long as they are dry - either pressed or air dried - they won’t rot or mold. But make sure they are truly dry lol - I made the mistake of storing some dandelion petals that were not completely dry. If you’re putting dried flowers in a jar it might be a good idea to put one of those moisture wicking packets inside. :)
So pretty!! I am absolutely planning on doing these!!!
Awesome! Have fun!
