Thanks for watching, really hope you've enjoyed these songs! Thanks again for all the support folks 🎸🎵
Thanks, then most likely it is 1.14 mm)
Very difficult to find right one)
So beautiful and soft! Greetings from Argentina Chris!🇦🇷🎶
Thank you so much for your kind words my friend! I really appreciate you checking out this song! 🙏🏻☺️
A very pretty one this. I think my favourite of the four although I would say that they're all superb. I have some time off over Chrismas so some fresh strings on the acoustic and I'll be having a good try of all four. I'll be really pleased if I can master one or even two before too long!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and here's to a healthy and creative 2024.
Thanks so much Peter! I really appreciate that - I think this might be my favourite too, at least from a performance standpoint, this is definitely the most enjoyable one to play for me 👌🏻.
That’s such a great thing to hear, I would love to hear how you get on with them - I’m sure you’ll get them all down in no time 👍🏻.
Have a great Christmas and New Year mate, thanks for all the support you’ve shown me these last few months! 🙏🏻😊 best wishes to you my friend!
Still a few videos left to round out this year including an instrumental Christmas number you might want to add to your list of tunes to have a go at! 😉 not sure when I’ll be uploading it, maybe Christmas Eve!
This is such a beautifully written piece, Chris. You should be real proud of this one. The recording sounds excellent and I really like all the playing noises - fingers on strings, your shirt on the wood etc. Blumlein mic setup was good choice for this too. Who was the engineer?
Hey thanks so much Tyler, that really means a lot man, thanks for checking it out! I appreciate the kind words on the recording too, I really wanted these songs to sound raw and intimate and 'live', the subtle imperfections give it that 'human' sound I feel. All credit goes to the producer for interpreting what I was aiming for and for executing it 👌🏻. It was produced and engineered by Dan Hopwood - his info is in the video description 😊
@@ChrisHarveyGuitar hmm… nothing shows up when I search his Instagram handle. Shame. Keen for the next track you drop though. This’ll be going on my instrumental playlist for sure!
Hi Chris) what pick do you use ? Sounds amazing!
Thanks for the kind words and for checking out this video man! I believe it was a Dunlop Delrin. Not sure what size but I know it was quite heavy. I opted for thicker and rigid because of the low tuning - it seemed to add more clarity and note definition to my ears 🎵🎸
