    I learned years ago that a women must never grovel or beg a man to stay. It shows tremendous weakness and is deeply unattractive to him. It does absolutely nothing but make you look worse. Always let leavers go and leave them alone.

    I think the most unfortunate event was Michelle meeting someone like Giselle. She had horrible traits, her jealousy, narcissism, callousness and anger paired with delusional thinking, made her extremely dangerous. I feel really sad for Michelle, she had a bright future ahead of her only to be cut short by someone so evil.
    Thank you, Dr. Grande. I hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend.❤

    Giselle seems to have always wanted what Michelle had. She got with Scott, probably because Michelle had dated Scott first, and Giselle wanted to be a better girlfriend than Michelle was. When her nursing dreams didn’t come true, she blamed Michelle for having success and living her life and leaving Giselle behind. Instead of trying to finish school her own self, she blamed Scott and Michelle and didn’t realize that Michelle wasn’t even thinking about being with Scott anymore. So sad. Not diagnosing. Only speculating.

      crab mentality runs deep within Filipino culture.

    • @adammcelwee8492
      @adammcelwee8492 Рік тому +1

      Unfortunately I think a lot of this stems from some aspects of Filipino culture (crab mentality, saving face, etc). Giselle couldn't stand her high school bestie being more desired by men, and living a generally more stable life, so she became obsessed. Hence why she pursued a guy Michelle dated for a few weeks at most, and tried to lock it down with a child. Finding a scapegoat for her relationship with Scott failing is absolutely a part of 'saving face', being unwilling to take the ego hit in front of her family and friends that she was a single mom with mental issues.

    Interesting case Dr. G! Thx for the analysis. Very sad to see that someone's own inferiority complex cost someone their life. The only person to befriend Giselle in highschool.
    So bizarre that Michelle only dated Scott a few months yet would die for it a whole 8 yrs later. If anyone had a right to be upset it was Michelle because her "friend" began dating her ex very quickly after they split.
    It's always fascinated me how an obsessed or abusive partner can be so worried that their partner is going to leave that they, themselves, are the only person that interfered in their relationship but they're never able to see this. Giselle was the only woman that came between herself and Scott. She also offered up the motive to police saying she believed Scott was sleeping with Michelle. If only they would have taken the threatening text msgs to police. Ppl have a tendency to believe the ppl in their lives are all talk but it was clear to see that Giselle was spiralling out of control with her obsession.
    Scott is very lucky he wasn't harmed as well. She didn't even give a single thought to what her actions were doing to their daughter, especially if she had taken Scott out of the baby's life permanently by ending his.
    I don't like how so many times nowadays we see mental health used as a defense for commiting violent crimes. I do believe there are instances where it is applicable but it seems to be the new "go to" to escape accountability. If she was diagnosed with a disorder and prescribed medication and willfully stopped taking the medication then she has chosen to be responsible for any actions she takes as a result of not taking her medicine. She knows what could happen if she doesn't take it and chooses not to take it anyway. Therefore she's responsible. Oh and guys, if a woman starts hitting themselves, for any reason, run far far away!!!
    All those years of hard work Michelle put in and the last day of internship before she could begin her official career she worked so long and hard to achieve and everything is stolen from her over jealousy that she had no hand in creating. How terribly tragic. I hope that Scott and his daughter are doing well and living peacefully knowing Giselle can not harm them anymore. I also hope that Scott understands that Michelle's death is in no way his fault. He was doing nothing inappropriate or out of line. Everything was a figment of Giselle's insecure mind. So unnecessary.
    Edit:
    I forgot one thing, if Giselle was speaking to police the very next day after the crime was commited and she admitted to being at the scene, gave the motive straight police about her delusion of M and S sleeping together, her DNA in M car along with the ID, and M's blood on her shoes...Why was she not arrested and charged until Sept yet this happened in May....

    Scott is an idiot. While the murder of Michelle is not directly his fault, Scott should had never enter into a relationship with Giselle after dating Michelle. Giselle's behavior should have been a red flag to him, instead it seems Scott enjoyed the dysfunction and chaos.

      He should have been more careful with whom he had sex, but that's true for a lot of guys, and vice versa. And with abortion bans in so many so many states and even access to birth control being threatened, there will be more dysfunctional relationships, custody battles, abandoned children, and bad outcomes.

    This case was so disturbing. Giselle was so jealous of Michelle. She went to great lengths to murder Michelle. I feel so bad for the Le family. She called the ER and tried to get her shift. I’ve seen this case covered before and it’s just shocking how you can be that jealous of someone you were friends with. Giselle ruined her own relationship with Scott. She didn’t need any help from Michelle.
    What is even more sad is that she made those threats to Scott in front of their daughter. She was abusive to him emotionally if not physically. I don’t think he realized the danger he was in himself. Clearly Michelle wasn’t aware of the danger Giselle presented towards her. Such a waste of two lives.

You definitely have job security in this genre, Dr. Grande. Unfortunately there will never be a shortage of stupid, self centered, impulsive, narcissistic, psychopathic people in this world who commit crimes they think they can get away with...but fortunately Dr. Grande will never run out of content, so we will always have his spot on analysis of these crazy stories.. 😊 ❤️

    Very upsetting story. It comes just after my learning about a local HS student who attacked a love interest with scissors after she rejected his request for a date. I start to generalize about this society and its collective psychosis. In this case, it's not simply jealous rage but a delusion -- and then she acts on it. Manslaughter? I thought premeditation with intent were the key to first degree.

      Competition. Sometimes, people are in competition with you and you don't even realize it or ignore it.
      I used to talk to that dude that got jealous of me because of the attention I got after an accident I was in. I was rather traumatized, but he was jealous that women asked me if I was okay because my face was scratched (bicycle accident, lack of care from my part, no helmet)

    • @Winter-Lake
      @Winter-Lake Рік тому +1

      @Nick M
      I hope you're doing much better now (after your bike accident). It's weird to get jealous over attention due to an injury. I'm sure you probably would have rather not been injured to receive that kind of attention. But of course people are going to care even if it's a stranger... at least I hope so.
      That guy must've already been jealous of you before the accident and attention, for something like that to upset him?
      That roommate I mentioned, she reminded me & others a lot of that movie "single white female." She would mimic me, Not that I'm someone spectacular to immulate, but she also would slowly morph herself into copying my appearance and mannerisms. It scared me that someone would do this and pretend to not know they are doing it.
      I finally ended my lease early and moved out. She did the exact same thing with the next roommate she had, slowly morphed herself into copying her.
      We called her "SWF" (for "Single White female") or "T-1000" (like the liquid metal shape-shifting terminator in the movie Terminator 2) 😄
      It was so SO weird. I think it must be some sort of identity crisis? I'm sure there's a more professional term for it, I just don't know what it is?
