Nicely explained sir.👍🏻 I am getting 27-28 kmpl in my daily city commute in performance mode. (Completed 1900 kms-70% in city) One thing I don't understand about the engine is that sometimes the engine gets butter smooth while sometimes it feels a little bit harsh....but less as compared to 390adv
Yeaaaah even i feel so, also brother this engine needs good engine oil which is fully synthetic, RE oil that they put in first service is not bad but not good either
I get 33+ mileage on highway and 27-28 in city traffic.. get your bike checked... 4 months and 1000km.. that's quite low.. as if you've bought it to keep it at home😂
I have 3 other bikes , that i ride too. Also brother have you done tank to tank mileage test. My figures are from tank to tank. And yes these figures are extreme conditions we can get more than that. But i am sure not less than that
This mileage test I've done like filling certain amount of fuel and running the bike on both highway and Bangalore city traffic. Calculation is based on that. So it is something accurate.
@@MotobikerVroon but how have you measured accurate mileage unless u run it either full tank to full tank or certain amount to empty but then how you know exact how much fuel was there before u fuel it up because fuel meter in Himalayan is not 100% accurate
Nice Review, few thoughts. Pulling either right left is due to out of shape spoke rims, align them. Handlebar misaligned and pulling one side may be due to defective tripple tree or slightly bent fork pipes Both above issues are well known in RE bikes, get it checked and change them within warranty period 😊
Yeaaah brother, faced them in my GT too, but in himalayan all bikes are pulling right because of of front forks, one side springs are there and one side dampening, although its the standard now, but thats what causing it, fixing the spoke alignment will make feel that its better , because if you thrash rode your bike on bumps or off-road slightly spokes get loosen up.
@@gentlemenandmotorcycles that must be some defective set of fork assemblies then, many bikes have same set up like GS310, RTR310, they. Don't pull either ways but then RE Bikes ~ Issues, can't help much 🤣

I have mentioned bro, while I was talking about suspension. Actually right pulling is because of front suspension . They have not mentioned it in the Manual but if u do some digging in the website you Will find that front suspension spring is one side and one side dampening, although it’s kinda a standard now but that’s were the fault is
I had 411 for 3 years , it didn’t had that issue, but it had a bad coneset issue so if you fall it or have a small hit coneset damages and has a right or left shift
Thank god some body pointed out, I know I made that mistake, actually it’s 4 months only, while shooting the video I made that mistake…. Thanks for the feedback…:)
Hi all, I took my new Himalayan 450 and I have a doubt when we try to put gear from neutral to 1st and 1st to 2nd gear,,, I see "Tak" sound when that gear shifts. Is it the same for all that Himalayan 450 bikes? Who ever owns one please comment on this...( Is it common?)
@@tinycamvlogs24 no it reduces after atleast 1000 kms slowly. The reason why this happens is the design of clutch . Its slip and assist wet clutch, this happens even in big bikes too.

I use premium fuel in all my vehicles for a reason, because I observed most of the petrol pump stations are tampered, like if you fuel for 1 ltre u will get 900 ml. And i have tested that. But they never rig the premium fuel one, you know why because it doesn’t sell much so they don’t care. So actually if i am paying 4 5 rs per litre extra i am getting correct amount of fuel with proper density no mixing. Thats the reason
@@gentlemenandmotorcycles Interesting. Can you make a video explaining what test you did to come to that conclusion? Because you might have discovered something big.
Using premium fuel , the combination is more compared to normal petrol , so there is no carbon deposit . And 1L will give some extra kms so same will be the cost per kilometer
