Oh this takes me back. Hulk is my fav ride💚 This has to be one of my fav vlogs, the content of the parks & rides was so good! Really shows you the park and what a realistic one day pass gets you in terms of time. Lots of great content here, loved it.

When you said that you hadn't seen the Bourne stunt show before, I knew you were going to love it. I just went in to kill some time and ended up loving it so much that I went a second time later!
Rewatching this. As I miss Disney and Florida. We did the bourne show on our trip in 2023 it was mental. It was so good. We did it because of your reaction to the show. We are going to Disney world in September. This year and can’t wait as we are doing our first ever Halloween trip so excited. Can’t wait for your wedding and cruise videos.
Love the video. Next time you go please do doctor dooms fearful. Although it looks like a drop ride it’s not you going up quickly instead of dropping down. One of my favs lol 😂❤

Great video Brogan, Diagon Alley looks amazing in the dark and Universal Studios looks so beautiful with the Christmas trees and all the merchandise. We went to Universal in LA in 1998 and the most popular ride at that time was Jurassic Park but i know if i went now Harry Potter would be my favourite 👍
I rode Rip Ride Rockit in 2009 when it first opened and it was my fave of the trip! I remember I picked Pump It by Black Eyed Peas - such a vivid memory for me! I also loved Hulk and remember riding it in the pouring rain just before they closed it for weather, and the rain felt like needles on our face when we were ascending at the start! Funny experience though. I always really liked the Disaster movie ride and the bit where the lorry came through the ceiling of the subway station always scared me - gutted it is closed now :(

i went to universal in the summer and we stayed at a premium resort so we had unlimited express passes and we said the same thing about some of the queues. they were not express at all, especially the hogwarts express and also found the food at universal is no where near the standard of disney. i love universal for the rides but the experience and overall of everything from food, cast members, rides, characters, and shows makes disney unbeatable!!
I think prior Hagrid's and VelociCoaster opening, 2 parks in 1 day was doable for hitting out a lot of the big and main rides and some shows, it also would depend on the time of year, day of the week you went and if you had express passes. Even in 2019 after Hagrids opened, it was tight for 2 parks 1 day. I've visited Universal 9 times between 2014-2019 all 1 day 2 parks when flying as Cabin Crew and found that around Summer Peak Months, Halloween, Christmas and when after Hagrids opened it was really really tight to get all the main attractions done from the 2 parks in 1 day without express tickets. Some times it was completely do able and I found that May and early November was the best times to try 2 parks 1 day. I would deffo when planning a visit allocate myself more than 1 day at Universal as they just keep adding and adding which is brilliant but you want to be able to leave yourself more time to enjoy it and not rushing around. 😊
I'm finally catching up with this series, having just returned from London for New Year's. It was fun to see Diagon Alley and Gringott's in Universal and to hear you compare them to the ones in London, because we were at Hogwarts in the Snow in London a few days ago and were comparing it to Harry Potter world in Universal! 😂
i think the soundstages at universal are used for shows but also the halloween horror nights houses i suppose they store all the props etc and then they houses are built in the soundstages
Love your videos! We just got back from Disneyworld on Jan 1 and are watching all of your videos to relive it! Actually, to live it how you guys did it, when it wasn’t so busy as it was for us at Christmas. It was way too busy! We are planning to go in a few years when you guys did. 😊

We stayed at universal for the first time 28th Nov - 5th Dec this year and omg as a Harry potter fan it was absolutely incredible!! ⚡️ Favourite rides were Veloci, hagrids, forbidden journey, gringotts, Spider-Man, rip ride and mummy. I thought hulk was quite rough! 🎢 (I picked black eyed peas - pump it everytime on RRR) A tip to help anyone which helped me massively - lanyards are a godsend. We had our park tickets and express passes in there and they were so useful as you can wear them even on the no lose items rides. Also everyone must do the Bourne spectacular stunt show it’s not to be missed! And the animals on location show Looking forward to the rest of your vlogs! It’s definitely bringing back memories! Thankfully we got Ubers over to Disney for some days to experience the magic there too 🏰 Islands of adventure is my absolute favourite park in the world now ❤
The last time I went to Universal Studios (November ‘22) I booked the VIP tour and it was so worth it! We went to the front of the line and after the tour was over (6 hours) we still had VIP passes for the rides for the rest of the day plus a discount for purchases.
I was just curious if you had thought about staying a night at the start or end of your vacation at a Universal premier hotel so that you could get early entry and free Universal Express Unlimited. It might make things a bit less chaotic and stressful.
Yes, so we did have the Hard Rock Hotel booked for our last trips that got cancelled, but we decided to make this trip 12 days instead of 14 (so we didn't try and tackle crowds on a 2nd weekend and save some money) and therefore, scrapped the Universal idea in the end as we didn't quite have the time. However, in the future, we'd definitely look at doing that. I personally feel you CAN do it all in a day, but we a) didn't have express or virtual on the 2 BIG rides and b) we wanted to see 2 Christmas Shows (parade and Grinchmas) which took up most of the day. If we didn't go a Christmas time, this would normally be when we did more rides etc. Hope that makes sense!
Hi, loving the vlogs. We were first timers in 2019 for a once in a lifetime visit, then went back last year & again next year. We're actually going the same time you've recently been (start of December) was wondering what the crowd levels & queues were like?
Our very first trip was I think 2009 and as we entered Universal I said no I am not paying for express passes too expensive. Went to stand in queue for The Hulk, lasted 5mins in the heat and went and bought the unlimited passes. Think we did Spiderman 3 times loved it so much

If you go back at Christmas again try and do the Hogwards projection show it's amazing when we went it was just after Macy parade so was a rush to get over there but think it's on every hour or something I can't quite remember. Looks like you had the best time. I enjoy re living florida through your vlogs keeps me going until we can get back there xx

We love Florida at Christmas. We go pretty much every year and we live in Australia now. It’s absolutely the best time to go. We do own in DVC though, so that does help with cost of accommodation. Make it be the thing you do at Christmas now, instead of skiing?
I'm a bit coaster can do I REALLY need to go to Universal!!! 😍😍😍 I don't know nearly as much about it as Disney (and I LOVE Harry Potter!!!). I'm sorry the Brunchmas show was such a disappointment!!! 😥😥😥 And I'm sorry about all the food mishaps! I'll remember your advice about needing two days at Universal! This is what I fear for our trip next year 😢 we have been saving so hard, we’ve never been to America before & probably won’t be able to make the trip again so it is our once in a lifetime shot at Disney and Universal. I feel a lot of pressure, because we are spending so much money on the trip, to get all the planning right & I worry despite that we could easily spend all our time on queues & crowds.

I have been a silent watcher for a while but I have a question- I am going to Florida in May (cannot wait), trying to purchase universal tickets for 1 day but having trouble with the US site and only want 1 day 2 park ticket- attraction tickets only offer 14 day ticket which we don't want! We went to universal at Christmas and got the express pass but because it was a cooler day the locals didn’t show and it was so quiet. Gringots was a walk on.
Perfect thing to watch while having a little break from starting to take my Christmas decoration's down . Boy did you pack a LOT in just one day , thank you for taking us along xx
Grinch world looks amazing but sad to hear the show was a bit of a dud. 🎄 Frozen butter beer sounds delicious. 🍺 I will be adding the Bourne show to our schedule. 🧗🏻♂️ Harry Potter world at Christmas looked beautiful. I’m still not sure how I feel about Velocicoaster! I think I need to go on it again to figure it out but I couldn’t face a second go on the day we went! 😂 Never done a ride like it - so intense! Hulk I forgot to take my glasses off. Asked the ride operator if I should remove them and he said I’d be fine. Cue me on the first launch almost losing them and spending the rest of the ride holding them to my face! My husband said it was really rough but I didn’t notice over the holding on to my glasses for dear life! 😂
I actually broke my arm in universal a few years ago so I got fast passes to all my favourite rides-my favourite rides are in harry potter world but I love everything!
I feel like we had similar frustrations with universal. I’m glad y’all ended up having a good day despite the set backs. We ended up leaving early because it ended up not being very fun for us
I think you got loads done in one day 🙌 we didn't do hagrids this year (but done it in 2019) and its my biggest regret that we didn't make time for it as its one of my favs xx

Hagrid’s is my favorite ride in any theme park. Worth the wait especially if you can get it under an hour. And I agree that walk for Grinchmas is ridiculous. I didn’t have to queue at all for it though and maybe that is why I enjoyed it more. But if I only had one day, I definitely would not make it a priority.
You need an ESTA from the UK and it costs around $21.00 USD. I already had one from my trip in May, but we did a new one for Benji and it only took a few hours to come back approved, but make sure you apply in plenty of time. The website is here - esta.cbp.dhs.gov/ Hope that helps! ps. We always take printed copies too, just in case, but they are automatically tracked with your passport when you go to security :)
I didn't mean, your birthday in 2023, lol. I was thinking end of winter early spring, February, March or April 2025 or 2026. Also, add a Disney cruise before or after your W.D.W. stop in orlando.🥰
Oh haha! I don't like Spring for WDW, Spring Break brings in BIG crowds and the bank holidays around Easter mean it's too busy. It's Nov-Feb for us moving forward! xx

We stayed at Swan Reserve for our trip to WDW. We stayed at Dockside Inn & Suites for our Universal day. Would recommend both- Swan Reserve was amazingggg.
Speaking for myself, I think Velocicoaster has more intense moments in it but is much smoother than Hulk, Hulk is a bit of a head rattler! I prefer Velocicoaster it’s such a blast, and if you’re a coaster lover it’s a must!

Agree. The whole vlog I was thinking I would never ever do both in a day. Last time we went we did a week at Universal and a day at Disney!

This is what I fear for our trip next year 😢 we have been saving so hard, we’ve never been to America before & probably won’t be able to make the trip again so it is our once in a lifetime shot at Disney and Universal. I feel a lot of pressure, because we are spending so much money on the trip, to get all the planning right & I worry despite that we could easily spend all our time on queues & crowds.
Loving this series it's brightening up my Jan big time!! I have been a silent watcher for a while but I have a question- I am going to Florida in May (cannot wait), trying to purchase universal tickets for 1 day but having trouble with the US site and only want 1 day 2 park ticket- attraction tickets only offer 14 day ticket which we don't want! Any help would be amazing!!xx

We went to universal at Christmas and got the express pass but because it was a cooler day the locals didn’t show and it was so quiet. Gringots was a walk on.
Perfect thing to watch while having a little break from starting to take my Christmas decoration's down . Boy did you pack a LOT in just one day , thank you for taking us along xx

I’m still not sure how I feel about Velocicoaster! I think I need to go on it again to figure it out but I couldn’t face a second go on the day we went! 😂 Never done a ride like it - so intense!
Hulk I forgot to take my glasses off. Asked the ride operator if I should remove them and he said I’d be fine. Cue me on the first launch almost losing them and spending the rest of the ride holding them to my face!
My husband said it was really rough but I didn’t notice over the holding on to my glasses for dear life! 😂
I actually broke my arm in universal a few years ago so I got fast passes to all my favourite rides-my favourite rides are in harry potter world but I love everything!

I feel like we had similar frustrations with universal. I’m glad y’all ended up having a good day despite the set backs. We ended up leaving early because it ended up not being very fun for us
I think you got loads done in one day 🙌 we didn't do hagrids this year (but done it in 2019) and its my biggest regret that we didn't make time for it as its one of my favs xx

Hagrid’s is my favorite ride in any theme park. Worth the wait especially if you can get it under an hour.
And I agree that walk for Grinchmas is ridiculous. I didn’t have to queue at all for it though and maybe that is why I enjoyed it more. But if I only had one day, I definitely would not make it a priority.

You need an ESTA from the UK and it costs around $21.00 USD. I already had one from my trip in May, but we did a new one for Benji and it only took a few hours to come back approved, but make sure you apply in plenty of time. The website is here - esta.cbp.dhs.gov/ Hope that helps! ps. We always take printed copies too, just in case, but they are automatically tracked with your passport when you go to security :)

Oh haha! I don't like Spring for WDW, Spring Break brings in BIG crowds and the bank holidays around Easter mean it's too busy. It's Nov-Feb for us moving forward! xx

We stayed at Swan Reserve for our trip to WDW. We stayed at Dockside Inn & Suites for our Universal day. Would recommend both- Swan Reserve was amazingggg.

What do you feel is more intense, Hulk or Velocicoaster? Hope you had the best time!
Speaking for myself, I think Velocicoaster has more intense moments in it but is much smoother than Hulk, Hulk is a bit of a head rattler! I prefer Velocicoaster it’s such a blast, and if you’re a coaster lover it’s a must!
