    I needed this today.
My dog had suddenly gotten sick on Saturday, so Mom took her to the ER on Sunday while I was at work. They told her that her kidneys were failing, and it was probably cancer. We took her home, medicated her to keep her comfortable. She passed away in her bed later that night. It was so sudden. I've been grieving a lot and for the first time in 29 years, we have no pets in the house. We're gonna wait till the end of summer till we get another dog.
I was also having a bad day at work today, so thank you, Squirrel Tactics, for another video.

☺️Thank you for your words of kindness. I feel lost and confused not having a pet here with me.
I may be slow at times, but I realized that grief of a loved one, be it human or animal, does not go away; it's not something you ever get over. Sure, grieving may get easier after a while, but it will always be there. Time does not heal all wounds, especially during traumatic experiences. The sudden death of an animal may not seem traumatic for most, but for those of us with social disabilities, it's especially difficult.
Everyone grieves differently; some cannot talk about loss without breaking into tears every time.
I slept on a cushion next to my dog that night and read to her before going to bed at 8:55 pm. I woke up just after 10 pm to find that she was gone. I've been sleeping on the floor and reading out since. Normally, I read before bed to help me sleep better, but reading aloud brought some comfort for me and my dog.
As I said before, it will be a few months before we're ready to open our home, and our hearts, to another rescue dog.

Nowadays? It's been going on since the show started. If they didn't say anything about it in their final seasons then my assumption is like alot of Texans they just accept the failure and like willie lane cling on to the glory days. I always like to make this joke that they'll sooner find the one piece before the cowboys win another super bowl

12:15 imo that's not out of character. Hank has a track record of being delusional in his regard/esteem for his heroes and whoever he considers "men's men". He thinks they can do no real wrong even after he's forced to help, correct or put them in line over and over again as the series progresses.
I think the show tries to explain his flaws the way they explain Peggy's... by his relationship with his parents.

Happy you covered this, this is by far the best episode for Kahn. I know Hank and Dale has center stage but I think what most people seem to ignore is that Kahn was on his own
The gangs love of football and football history blinded them from responsibility. Which is a big theme the show doesn't shy away from. Kahn, not blinded by fanboyism. Isn't sensitive or bias too the situation, Hank being gullible to a player is s consistent theme but I like that in this case he was placed into being mildly unreliable

Block Charters are often part of a deed restriction for certain neighborhoods. They’re set up as a way for communities to self regulate without having to go to court or to the police. They’re not supposed to levy fines such as Hank did on Peggy’s poker night, that’s more of an HOA. Block Charter rules are universally agreed upon by all residents and the Block Captain doesn’t have the authority to fine anyone, he just makes sure the rules are being followed and handles disputes between neighbors regarding rule breaking.
Willie hitting Hank and Hank having proof via the photograph of the Super Bowl Ring indentation was solved through the Block Charter rules. Willie technically didn’t have to leave, but the only other solution would be for Hank to show the photograph to the police as proof of assault, or even sue Willie in court. Willie didn’t want that, so the only other solution was for him to move off the block in two weeks, though he could still own the house and sell or rent it out, but he wouldn’t be allowed to live in it anymore.
He most likely sold it, then Jim and Lila with their bratty son Caleb moved in (I suggest you do a video on him if you haven’t already).
