They appear to be ideal cold weather pants... other than the price is a bit high. I get it from their perspective, but I can accomplish just about the same with marino bottoms under a pair of pants I already own. Maybe on sale some day.
Patagonia stuff is too expensive and not great for durability with this type of material. I like their stuff but sopped buying from them. Eddie bauer has nice lined winter pants with tons of pockets that won’t break the bank. Guide Pro Lined Pants. Highly recommend checking them out or review them here

I use the OG Nano-Air Pants with 60g of FullRange insulation from 3-4 years ago for ice climbing and they're worth every penny.
